to answer your question - i have read…. Some of the bible! just. not all of it.

oh cool, I've read the kids bible to sleep when I was little. but also not all of it ( I got a bit bored with all the new generations) but the illustartions were gorgeous and there were a lot of side notes with historical info and artifacts so it made for good bedtime stories for an 11 year old. I mean it was exciting to find out what the next plague sent by god upon the egyptians will be, etc and see the fear and suffering illustrated on the characters faces made it even more so lively.

#i forgot where i was going with the bible thing.maybe that its not very unproblematic and yet look at all the different god fandoms thriving #but the og main character was a little bit more cruel and evil than I remember from going to church later in life :'D #that guy just killed a bunch of people for being unfaithful...zamn i liked jesus better he was less violent #well most of the time at least i think #religion lore wow. I wish I knew more about that but I take a single look at a bible verse and I get exhausted #i dont think one year to study that stuff would suffice to get whats going on in there #answered #religion
