oh also i scored this really cool set of promotional postcards for poor things at the cinema <3 great day for jules nation overall
#seriously im so fucking happy ive seen poor things in the cinema its like one of those movies actually made for the big screen#plus there really is something abt participating in an act of watching a film with 100+ other ppl....#like the way it turns into this communal experience. so so cool#also im not saying it reinvented feminism or whatever but it does show that you can in fact have a mainstream film coming out in 2023#that gets more sophisphicated than 'patriarchy. its real and it sucks !' in its analysis#(yes this is abt the barbie movie. which i did enjoy in a way one can enjoy a 2h long mattel ad. but thats material for another post)#thots
