I just finished reading The Sun And The Star and I spent a good twenty minutes to half an hour just sobbing with joy. The queerness in this book is powerful, and even better there are both genderqueer characters and sexuality-queer characters! When Rick dedicated this book for us, he really wasn’t lying. I think my brain chemistry has been permanently altered by this book and I’m thrilled and grateful beyond my own belief that I get to live in a world where this book exists. I feel so seen and loved and I just....I mean, if you’ve read the book and you’re in the Tumblr tags for it, you probably understand. And if you don’t, I’m sorry, but there’s really no way to explain it.
