THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES IS THE EXCEPTION there were some tma episodes that were scary to me and i love it as a storytelling medium and the worldbuilding with the entities and avatars is really cool i’m talking more specifically about the sort of video that sapnap pulled up on stream that’s sort of like trying to imitate old vhs tapes and does a lot of the sort of. ooh mysterious redacted info oooh spooky entity we can’t tell you about because Reasons sort of thing. which i guess tma also kind of does but like it’s different like it actually succeeds in building up that atmosphere and making you feel really invested which the other stuff just doesn’t do for me
