Some sad face headcanon

I love the idea that Bee was once one of the most beautiful angels God created (maybe next to Lucifer, who knows) and they were badly disfigured after the fall. As a demon, they took a new face -- only to be discorporated again by Satan as a punishment for not being able to go through the Armageddon (he also took a few inches away from their height lol)

Bee could've changed their face out of their own volition like they said in canon but the idea that demons lie and they hide the reason why they change their face out of embarrassment is just more angst inducing interesting.

There's also this idea that their demon face is some sort a "here look at me now" statement to God. If they can't be enough for Her, then they could do their own thing like giving themself a new face, new title, new purpose, and as 6000 years go by, Bee retains no single memory of their angel life and their angel face.

But turns out they weren't good enough for Satan and Hell either.

They take whatever face they could get after the fail-maggedon. It doesn't matter what face they have, it's no longer a statement, just another flesh to inhibit. They will never be good enough for both God and Satan anyway and they will always be a mere pawn in their ineffable game.

But to someone, they are enough.

They are more than enough.

Anyway, I don't have any particular face claim for angel!Bee. But in my head they're a really pretty feminine looking angel with golden curls and an updo (still tiny). Their hair was badly burnt during the fall and it remains that way. I also like the headcanon that swirls around that Bee was Johphiel; beauty of God.

(Although I still hold the hc that Lucy is the most beautiful angel God ever created. In my head, he was a dainty platinum blonde hair twink, with long silky smooth hair, and slender, hairless body -- I find it a funny contrast to the somewhat rugged built, refrigerator shaped Gabriel)

In the 3.6 event, you can choose to tell Kaveh about the truth regarding his father or not, and if you don't, Alhaitham tells him instead, and he feels better than if you tell him yourself afterwards. They were also very good friends in the past and share an idle (Alhaitham finds a pair of keys, while Kaveh looks for his keys but couldn't find any).

why explain the basics when i can just show them ! here's icarus' first ever ref sheet compared to his most recent one;

yeauh . big differences

most notably: he was not originally a prime soul, he was just a fallen angel ! hence the shackles and funky satanic imagery patterns on him

the scariest part: AH !!!! TWINK !!!!!!! he was SO skinny back then it almost makes me Sad looking at it now . it was an intentional design note, as at this point in his development i wanted him to look like an emaciated animal - but his fatness is so important to him now that seeing him without it is DEEPLY jarring

some consistencies: his hooves, claws, and head have always remained consistent in his design ! i've just always loved the shape language of them too much to change . i actually tried to phase out the more animalistic parts of him (hooves & claws) when developing him into a prime soul (to be more consistent with the two canon ones) but i just. couldn't . they were so integral to his design at that point that i couldn't imagine him without them . and of course, his head is pretty much the exact same from the point of conception; the cross-face, dual horns and head wings have only changed via stylistic evolution and nothing more <3

colours: they're So Different now . since he originally belonged to heresy rather than violence, i really wanted to hammer in that red - which persisted up until somewhat recently, when i phased it out for the full blue/silver scheme . his prime form and angel form now share an almost identical colour palette, which i think is fun ! another reason for getting rid of the red was because i wanted him to stand stark against the colours of violence (specifically red & white); as minos does wifh gluttony and sisyphus does with heresy. it also makes him look softer :]

in regards to his angel form; i cannot find any old refs of it unfortunately but the change in that design has been even MORE drastic . though one thing that has always been super important to it is the silver metal; he has always supposed to look like a subordinate . being bereft of colour and the brighter hues of angels like gabriel is a Very Important Contrast that i like emphasising

the black metal in his design is a recent change though ! it used to be silver and white up until recently, not silver and black . the reasoning behind this one is that i'm a sucker for dark colour schemes in armour and it looks cool . it's an excuse to make him look more intimidating too since he's a bodyguard !

The general premise is that the old government (aka the ancient gods) want to retire but there is ooone little detail. The case of cynic philosopher Menippos isn't closed and that stops Charon and Hermes from finally retiring! Their mission? Make stubborn and chaotic Menippos earn just one euro so he can pay Charon and close the financial case. But the dedication of Menippos to being a hippie and strange circumstances will get in the way of their eternal vacation.

Do not think for a second this is a serious show, and that's why it's one of the most beloved shows for Greeks. I mean what else perfectly pairs Greek bureaucracy and the ✨Dimosio✨, Frappe-zombies, Edward Cullen, Snow White and Angel Gabriel together??
