Happy Monday my dears!! It is Canadian thanksgiving this weekend so happy long weekend to all my Canadian babes. It’s also a full moon and I want to take a moment to recognize all the lives lost and taken from the families of our ancestors who resided here before the landing of the Europeans. It’s not a great “holiday”, but it is a tradition so I believe we must use it to recognize our evils in the past and give thanks for the sisters and brothers who teach us about spirituality, wellness and togetherness in our every day lives. For my family, thanksgiving is a time to invite everyone over for a meal abundant in harvest wellness given to us by this wonderful planet. It’s a time to open our circle of love, and call in others so that we can all go off and share in healing throughout the winter months. • I also wanted to give thanks to my beautiful supporters and customers who make my life so brilliant with love and positivity by showing off these earrings that I didn’t even get to post before they sold! I am so thankful for everyone who makes my art possible so that I can continue to develop my skills. • So with this reminder of our tragic, humiliating and tortuous past, let’s work to reclaim this “holiday” for the lost families by living life to the fullest with our loved ones. As a witch, persecution was a reality for my ancestors as well, so although I am just a white girl, understanding is within my bones and my bloodlines. We can’t change the past but we can grow our circle of love, and bring in more and more people to spread wellness and healing.
