Not sure if you've already answered this or are going to answer this in upcoming chapters but what's LoF Loki's reasoning for New York? Like do you lean towards Thanos brainwashing/torturing him or did the daddy issues just get so bad he crashed out?

im leaning towards daddy issues because i really don't want to write about thanos. ik someone or multiple someones will probably hate that for multiple reasons and will tell me i'm an idiot and know nothing but.... i'm tired... im already struggling writing just peter's stuff..... if i also have to write thanos and all that crazy shit i'll go insane. my job is spider-man

i've been figuring out how to change the marvel timeline to make it happier? i guess? just like how i've been changing the DC timeline to be the same. maybe not happier but more easy for me to handle writing, and my preferred canon. like how bucky and sam are around rn and yet SHIELD is there too... ik i've told everyone before but LoF wasn't thought out that hard before i decided to get really into it, which means that there are things like that that i'm like "oopsies we've gotta come up for a reason for that"

so yeah i'm thinking Loki and his daddy issues are the reason for those shenanigans because it gives me peace of mind to not have to write thanos eventually

i really like how when youngmi calls hyunju “unnie”, the english subtitles don’t just translate it to her name like they usually do with honorific titles

(Not super toxic aside from Thanos not addressing her feelings like ever but all in all this is tame as hell - i WILL be posting them being unfathomably insane tonight tho)

. As much as others may not believe it Namgyu LOVES her hair - loves the colour, the style, the short length, she loves all of it. In the mornings she'll stand infront of her bathroom mirror tucking and untucking it, smoothing it behind her ears.

. Thanos loves her hair but that much is pretty obvious - she loves the contradiction of it all. It's fried from years of purple dye but also so soft, it's a loud bright obnoxious colour that draws peoples eyes from whatever shit she's got going on.

. So, it's easy for her to understand Namgyus relationship with her hair - sure, she keeps it greasy but there's a love and care to it - it's something that Thanos keeps close to her heart and off her tongue (she hates being seen as sentimental, fuck that) Namgyu is just another one of her little contradictions.

. At night when Nagmyu clings to Thanos’s chest like she's afraid she'll somehow fall off the king-size bed, Thanos plays with her hair, often absentmindedly just while staring at the ceiling high out of her mind. Those nights (everynight) she'll be sure to randomly stop just to hear an incessant whine leave Namgyus lips before returning to her task with a grin on her face.

.Sometimes, when Thanos is really feeling all mushy she'll stop completely, not even letting up when she sees Namgyu's big doe crazed eyes, no instead she'll pull her in by her hair and run her tongue along the seam of her lips kissing her like she's the oxygen she breaths: kissing her forehead, nose, cheek finally falling asleep with the taste of Namgyu on her lips and the feel of her hair in her hands.

Reading that analysis of nam gyu you reblogged and like even before rjw said that about nam gyu when I watched in december I totally got vibes he just wanted to be loved and accepted. It makes me sad because he didn't get that. I do think thanos cared about him to a certain degree with him choosing him in mingle each time and initially being hesitant to give him pills though, but thanos is also very bossy, even more so when high and wants to be in charge all times. So it's not equal.

the way if I was a squid game character I'd literally be so into him even more because I see this desire for connection in him though. Like give me that over someone being "charming" or overly confident any day. It would be the "me and the and bitch I pulled by wanting a genuine connection but coming across as mean and angsty" meme.

YEAH jaewon confirming namgyu’s desire to be cared about and respected is so relieving since that’s how i wanted to interpret him as well. he did an incredible job acting for the role, you can tell how namgyu really wanted to be respected and acknowledged and that he very much bothered him that he wasn’t getting it.

i also do think thanos cared about him. he liked the entire team, however he had a general disrespectful nature and put himself a bit above the others (something he might have learned to do as he became a celebrity). it doesn’t mean he disliked the team, just that he wanted to be in control of it. i think he took a particular liking to namgyu likely due to a combination of the drugs and that they were both ripped off by myunggi.

i think this connection they have is why namgyu attached himself to thanos so quickly, and it was why he was relying on his validation over anyone else’s. he found someone he could relate to, someone that could understand his frustration. he chased after that feeling of solidarity and connection; i assume it isn’t something he gets to feel often in his outside life.

AND ME TOO. put me in the games with namgyu and we will become codependent.

besties, one thing i hate about netflix translated subs, especially with korean shows, is that they play fast and loose with honorifics. like with junho and inho for example, they never translate them properly, it's always first names.

so because of this, i can't tell if my hearing is messed up or does namgyu call thanos hyung? or is he saying something else?
