Langsam schleicht sich bei mir die Chemotherapie-Routine ein. Gesundheitlich ähneln sich die letzten Tage. Es geht mir gut, ich fühle mich wohl, die einzige Einschränkung die ich merke ist die Konzentrationsfähigkeit. Ich werde schneller müde und habe nicht für einen ganzen Tag die Kraft. Heute war mir nach dem Aufwachen zum ersten Mal bewusst, dass ich geträumt habe. Nur schade, dass ich meine Träume nie festhalten kann.

Wie gestern schon geschrieben, war ich fast den ganzen Tag in der Küche aktiv. Heute gab es 'ají de gallina', ein klassisches Rezept der peruanischen Küche, das Slow Food vom Besten ist. Oder fast. Gallina ist eigentlich ein Suppenhuhn, das mit Stangensellerie ausgekocht wird und dessen Muskelfleisch nachher gezupft wird. Danach wird es mit verschiedenen weiteren Zutaten verarbeitet. Auch diese müssen, wenn sie nicht industriell gefertigt zugekauft werden, zuerst als Küchenbasis vorbereitet werden. Das Suppenhuhn hat sein Leben lang Eier gelegt und wird am Ende seines Lebens eben als Suppenhuhn gegessen. Die klassische Küche aller Länder ist eigentlich eine Volksküche, die mit einziehendem Wohlstand verfeinert wird und im Extremen zur Spitzengastronomie mutiert. Die peruanische Familie auf dem Land und auch oft in der Stadt hält sich Hühner für die Eier und am Schluss landet das Huhn im Topf. Mit dem einziehenden Wohlstand nimmt man mehr und mehr nur noch die Pouletbrust, nur weil es einfacher ist und weniger Arbeit gibt. Suppenhühner sind auch bei uns eine Seltenheit geworden. In Oerlikon auf dem Markt erhält man sie auf Bestellung. Beim Einkaufen habe ich schon lange keines mehr gesehen. Und ja, ich gebe es zu, auch ich habe Pouletbrust genommen. Darum nur fast Slow Food.

Ein schöner Effekt meines Blogs. Es melden sich Menschen bei mir, von denen ich schon so viele Jahre nichts mehr gehört habe. Der Blog zieht seine Kreise. Diese Meldungen zeigen mir auch, dass ich meine Freundschaften pflegen muss, sie sind nicht selbstverständlich, nicht gegeben. Ich muss sie pflegen, dranbleiben, auch wenn ich mir selber oft genug bin. Das Leben plätschert zu oft vor sich hin. Danke euch allen.

So war heute zum Mittagessen auch Miki bei uns. Es war schön, mit dir über so viele Dinge zu sprechen.

Und der FC Zürich hat 3:1 gewonnen.

Slowly the chemotherapy routine is creeping in on me. In terms of health, the last few days have been similar. I'm fine, I feel good, the only limitation I notice is the ability to concentrate. I get tired faster and don't have the strength for a whole day. Today, after waking up, I was aware for the first time that I was dreaming. It's just a pity that I can never hold on to my dreams.

As written yesterday, I was active in the kitchen almost all day. Today we had 'ají de gallina', a classic recipe of Peruvian cuisine that is slow food at its best. Or almost. Gallina is actually a soup chicken that is cooked out with celery and its muscle meat is plucked afterwards. It is then processed with various other ingredients. These also need to be prepared first as a kitchen base if they are not bought in industrially manufactured. The soup chicken has laid eggs all its life and is eaten as such at the end of its life. The classic cuisine of all countries is actually a people's cuisine, which is refined with moving in prosperity and mutates in the extreme to the top gastronomy. (A photo follows in this post) The Peruvian family in the countryside and also often in the city keeps chickens for the eggs and in the end the chicken ends up in the pot. With the arrival of prosperity, more and more people take only the chicken breast, just because it is easier and there is less work. Soup chickens have also become a rarity in our country. In Oerlikon at the market you can get them on order. When shopping, I haven't seen one for a long time. And yes, I admit it, I also took chicken breast. That's why only almost slow food.

One nice effect of my blog. People contact me who I haven't heard from in so many years. The blog is making its rounds. These messages also show me that I need to nurture my friendships, they are not taken for granted, not given. I have to nurture them, keep at it, even if I am often enough to myself. Life ripples along too often. Thank you all.

Miki was also with us for lunch today. It was nice to talk to you about so many things.

And FC Zurich won 3:1.

Poco a poco, la rutina de la quimioterapia se va imponiendo. En cuanto a la salud, los últimos días han sido similares. Estoy bien, me siento bien, la única restricción que noto es mi capacidad de concentración. Me canso más rápido y no tengo energía para todo el día. Hoy, tras despertarme, he sido consciente por primera vez de que había estado soñando. Es una pena que nunca pueda mantener mis sueños.

Como escribí ayer, estuve activo en la cocina la mayor parte del día. Hoy hemos comido 'ají de gallina', una receta clásica peruana que es slow food en su máxima expresión. O casi. La gallina es en realidad un pollo para sopa que se cocina con apio y cuya carne muscular se deshilacha después. A continuación, se procesa con otros ingredientes. Estos también deben prepararse primero como base de la cocina si no se compran en la fabricación industrial. El pollo de sopa ha puesto huevos toda su vida y se come como tal al final de su vida. La cocina clásica de todos los países es, en realidad, una cocina de pueblo, que se va refinando a medida que se asienta la prosperidad y, en el extremo, muta en gastronomía de alto nivel. (A continuación una foto en este post) La familia peruana en el campo y también muchas veces en la ciudad tiene gallinas por los huevos y al final la gallina termina en la olla. A medida que la prosperidad se instala, cada vez más gente toma la pechuga de pollo, simplemente porque es más fácil y da menos trabajo. Los pollos para sopa también se han convertido en una rareza aquí. En Oerlikon, se pueden conseguir por encargo en el mercado. Cuando estaba comprando en las tiendas, no he visto uno desde hace mucho tiempo. Y sí, lo admito, también usé pechuga de pollo. Por eso es sólo comida casi lenta.

Un buen efecto de mi blog. Se pone en contacto conmigo gente de la que no tengo noticias desde hace muchos años. El blog está dejando su huella. Estos mensajes también me demuestran que tengo que cultivar mis amistades, que no son algo natural, que no vienen dadas. Tengo que alimentarlas, seguir con ellas, aunque a menudo me basten. La vida se ondula con demasiada frecuencia. Gracias a todos.

Miki también se ha unido a nosotros para comer hoy. Ha sido un placer hablar contigo de tantas cosas.

Y el FC Zúrich ganó 3:1.
