Prompt: “Wait a minute... Are you jealous?”

(A/N): ...why not Youngmin and Woong? ;D

You strode into AB6IX’s practice room, trying to keep yourself quiet so that you didn’t disturb them. But also because you knew what massive scaredy-cats they were, and this would be a perfect opportunity to freak them out.

Ever since your friends had become AB6IX, they’d been practicing diligently and always working hard. You’d gotten a taste of that when Woojin and Daehwi were in Wanna One, and when Youngmin and Donghyun had been in MXM, but this felt different...

Permanent.

Part of you was so incredibly proud, but the other part felt a little bit lonely. It felt like being left in the dust while all of your friends, and your boyfriend, set off to do great things.

But you would set that aside, for the time being. They were more important than your self-pitying reservations.

You watched them hit every beat perfectly, smoothly executing a special performance for a Breathe and Hollywood mashup they had prepared. When the song came to an end and nothing left in the room except for heavy breathing, you clapped and cheered loudly.

Just as expected, they all flipped out. Daehwi screeched like a dolphin, Woong and Youngmin looked like you’d given them a heart-attack, Donghyun looked like he might cry and your boyfriend, Woojin, had actually fallen over.

You refrained from cracking a joke about how he’d “fallen for you all over again”.

What a change from their powerful personas while performing. Though, that’s how you loved them. Being their usual dorky selves.

You laughed hysterically. “You guys are pathetic!” you joked.

Daehwi groaned, trying to recollect himself. “You can’t just do that with no warning!” he whined. He put a hand over his heart. “My heart’s beating so fast—I was really shocked!”

“That’s what a surprise is supposed to do, Hwi.” Your laughter died out. You wiped a tear away from the corner of your eye before holding up your mystery bag. “I’m sorry, okay?” you said, still chuckling a little. “I brought lunch, though. Truce?”

Everyone’s expressions immediately melted into grateful relief.

“You know what,” Woong started, “I’m just gonna say it. I love you.” Woojin looked up at him with wide eyes. “Platonically, of course,” he caught himself. “I’m just so hungry right now.”

“Well then, get your butts over here,” you said, already laying out the paper plates and utensils. Everyone huddled around you, but Woojin made sure to stick close to your side, arms wrapped around you. “You looked great,” you whispered to him.

He gave you a peck on the cheek as acknowledgment. “Thanks,” he whispered back. “You look great, too.” He sounded a little shy.

You chuckled and gave him another peck. “We’ve been dating for how long and you’re still this shy?” His cheeks reddened. “Cute.”

“Can you guys stop being so domestic and precious?” Daehwi asked. “It’s really putting me off my lunch.”

You stuck your tongue out at him in reply.

“Speaking of lunch,” Youngmin spoke up, “did you make this? It tastes homemade.”

You cringed a little. “That bad, huh?”

He shook his head immediately. “No way! That good!” He flashed you a smile. “Believe me, it’s really, really good.”

You brightened up a little. “Really? Well, thanks! That’s a big confidence boost for me, actually!”

“I could’ve told you that,” Woojin grumbled.

You bumped your forehead against his. “You haven’t even tried it yet, sparrow.”

“Exactly!” he defended himself. “I knew it was awesome before I even tasted it. I’d say that’s a much cooler compliment.”

You gave him a look, but it made you smile nonetheless. “Fair enough.” You gently pushed him away from you, prying his arms off of your waist. “Now go actually eat. It’s getting cold, you dork.”

After you served up your own plate, you automatically sat next to Woong as he was the closet to you, but as soon as he started to strike up a conversation, Woojin dragged you to his side, butting Donghyun out of his place and almost making you spill your food.

You gave him a wide-eyed look. “Explanation?” you asked.

He shrugged. “Missed you,” he said simply.

It was weird, but you accepted it nonetheless.

“What’d you think of the debut?” Youngmin asked after a while.

Your eyes immediately lit up. You always got so passionate when talking about their group or their music. “It was amazing!” you said. “The vocals, the dancing, the rapping, the visuals—it was all totally on point! Even the message was really addictive. Like, ‘I want to help you breathe’? That’s just a really sweet thing. And you!”

You pointed to Youngmin and took a deep breath to renew yourself, not realizing you hadn’t been breathing that whole time. “I was really impressed with you this time around!”

He gave a shy but excited smile. “Really?” he asked.

“Yes, really!” you assured him. “I feel like you’ve reached highest level of Youngminnie coolness.”

He straighten himself up, looking a little proud. “Well, then,” he said. “I guess I did all right.”

“More than all right!” You tapped Woong with your foot. “And you, sir! I’m so proud of you! You finally debuted and you did it with a such a—”

“Can you stop complementing them already?”

The sudden shout shocked you all, making you look in one direction simultaneously. The direction of your boyfriend.

“Youngmin’s not the only rapper in the group,” Woojin ranted, “I rap too, and I’m pretty good at it! Beside, Youngmin’s old! Old and crusty.”

You couldn’t stop yourself from snorting a little.

He seemed to ignore it. “And why’re you complimenting Woong so much, huh? So he has abs, and he’s hot, and he doesn’t have an accent—whatever! He doesn’t dance as well as me, he doesn’t have a snaggletooth, he’s not your boyfriend—oh! And!” This rant really was all over the place. “I share a room with him! So I know he sleeps funny.”

“You sleep naked!” Woong interjected.

Woojin crossed his arms. “It’s a sign of masculine confidence.”

You couldn’t stop yourself from busting out laughing in that moment. “I’m sorry!” you chortled. “I’m trying to take this seriously, I am, but what the heck?” Everything that’d been said rushed around your head until you realized. “Wait a minute,” you started. “Are you jealous?”

Woojin’s eyes widened for a moment, as if he’d been found out, but he immediately scoffed, trying to cover it up. “Me? No way.”

“You totally are!” you laughed.

He pouted. “I’m not, but if I was, why are you laughing?”

“Because I’m jealous, too!” Everyone gaped at you. “I’m jealous of your guys’ job being so cool, and I’m being so nice to everyone because I was afraid that you would ditch me!”

Woojin started laughing himself, though he tried not to. “Why would we ditch you?” he asked. “We care about you so much.” Everyone else just looked on in amused confusion.

“Exactly!” you wheezed. “We’re both jealous for such dumb reasons!” You toppled over, your head landing in his lap. “We’re idiots,” you chuckled, nuzzling into his thigh.

He cupped your cheeks, smiling ear-to-ear. “We sure are. Wanna be my idiot forever?”

You shrugged. “Let’s go for it.”

He pecked your lips twice, once on both of your cheeks, and once on your nose. “Sounds like a plan.”

The room fell quiet, except for your hushed laughter.

“I don’t know what just happened,” Donghyun spoke, “but it feels like a prank.”

You sat up. “Nope!” you said. You threw your arm around Woojin’s shoulder. “Just two idiots in love.”

(Why do I legit see something like this happening to this lovable fool? XD)

3:58am on a Saturday in one of the most heavily protected buildings in the entire city

hooking up your sad $535 laptop and praying to whoever runs the universe

that you’ll be able to go home and eat breakfast in time

as is the life of a hacker

a professional top-of-the-line hacker for hire

too bad the government hasn’t noticed your talent yet

or you would be working for the good guys

but you’re working for whoever helps pay the rent now

and if you take down some corrupt businesses while you’re working for the mob

who cares

that’s enough vigilante justice for you

honestly you’d think that one of the most powerful companies in the city would know better than to have such weak protection for their systems

you shake your head as you smirk and carefully unplug your laptop

done

easiest $30,000 dollars of your life

the company had been known to “donate” a percentage of their revenue back into the city

things like feeding and housing the homeless

or ensuring kids go to school and aren’t on the streets

but in reality they were pocketing all of it

and come morning

you would have just exposed their asses

climbing back out the vent you came through

you shouldered the backpack with your laptop

and crawled until you reached the building’s service entrance

dropping down you were fully intending to walk casually straight out the building

until you felt your arm jerk as you were roughly pulled behind a wall

“What the fu-“

the person who did it covered your mouth roughly

and your eyes widened as you saw one of the guards walk by

you silently cursed at yourself for not monitoring the CCTV system

you had assumed hacking into it was fine

but you forgot to check the guard’s positioning

after he passed you turned back to the person who had just saved your ass

“Thanks I guess.”

he didn’t say anything but gave you a sideways glance and shrugged as he pulled out a definitely more expensive and way better laptop than yours

as he connected it to one of the computers in the room

“Who are you btw?” You asked eyeing him suspiciously

he smirked

“What’s it to you?” he replied quietly

it almost sounded like he was teasing you

“Sorry if you got offended at me trying to be polite.” You scoff annoyed

who was this guy?

he had jet black hair

and was not super tall from what you could see

but when he turned back to look at you

your breath caught in your throat

“You broke into a high security building to clumsily hack into a system and expose their lies, I don’t think manners are our top priority right now.” he answered looking straight into your eyes

you stared blankly in shock

“How did you...?” how did he know?

“Regardless I’m here to undo it.”

you watched as he clicked shut his laptop and faced you

“The fuck! I’m getting paid, what am I supposed to tell my client?” you said

he smirked again as he packed up his laptop

“There are better ways to expose this company.”

and with that he disappeared

like legit

gone poof

he walked found his escape route before you even had time to process what he meant

you blinked and he was gone

when you finally returned to your apartment when the sun came up

and clicked on the tv

the news was playing

“-donates half of their entire yearly revenue to creating shelters for the homeless...”

your jaw dropped

while you had wanted to expose to the media this company’s lies

whoever that guy was last night

had transferred over half of the entire company’s revenue

in the five minutes he had spent saving you from lifetime in prison

who the fuck was he?

his name was Lee Jihoon

and honestly did he ever think he’d have to deal with other hackers even close to his caliber?

nope

but you had broken through into the company’s servers in record times

he was intrigued

and more than a bit competitive

“Jeonghan, you think you could look up someone for me?” he asked walking into Svt’s main meeting room

Jeonghan was hunched over some papers planning the next job no doubt

without looking up, Jeonghan said

“That’s like asking if I like taking naps Jihoon, who do you think I am? All I need is a name-”

“I don’t have her name yet.”

Jeonghan raised an eyebrow swiveling in his chair to face Jihoon

his blue prints and detailed plans fluttering at the sudden movement

“Her?” Jeonghan questioned, teasing smile on his lips

“I can’t work with you.” Jihoon rolled his eyes while walking off to find Seungcheol

“WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘HER’?!?!?” Jeonghan yelled after him smiling

Jihoon had joined Seungcheol’s team a while ago

one of the original members

but the others didn’t really know about him at first

because he kept to himself

usually tinkering with gadgets in his own office in the Svt complex

overlooking the city

overlooking their territory

he also may have held up a gun to Soonyoung’s head when Soonyoung tried to touch him

jokingly

or so everyone would like to think XD

one time Seungkwan had lost a bet to the others

and was dared to go into Jihoon’s office

-just to try to learn more about this teammate they didn’t see much of

but they got caught

and Seungcheol was scolding them until Jihoon walked out and told them to just order dinner and call it done

and tbh although this cold mafia hacker didn’t easily trust people

that one night where he got to sit down with the whole gang for a meal finally

and although he would never admit it

after being around the whole gang for years

he trusted them with his life

one of the best hackers hands down

sometimes jokingly gets called the cyber shadow

bc he’s Svt’s hidden member

doesn’t go out in the field for most missions

but has a hand in planning, masterminding, and orchestrating the whole thing

didn’t like going out for any jobs anyway

that is until he had the proper motivation to

you quietly slunk through the security room

attaching your USB to the main computer

uploading the code that would shut off alarms for an hour or until you turned it back on

this job was easy

stop the security system long enough to allow your client to rob the facility

once the system was down you called the client

“Yea the systems are down.”

and you leaned back in your chair to monitor the camera systems as your client gang snuck into the facility

“Honestly thought you’d be some social justice warrior but it looks like you’re in this for money.”

you nearly fell out of the chair at the sound of that voice

one you’d never forget

“You!” You pointed at the guy you met that night

he had entered the security room quietly behind you and was leaning against the wall

“Yep it’s me.” He smirked setting down a bag

his black hair tousled lightly and hidden behind his hoodie

he might be considered cute or good looking maybe

ahem even though he’s totally not your type

“I mean I do what I do for money too, but I’m surprised you play dirty also.” He laughed taking out a laptop

“What are you doing here?” You say cutting straight to the point

“While you’re helping this small gang live for another day, I’m helping kings grow an empire.”

his smirk was really starting to make your heart flutter annoy you

“and so you’re here because...?” you ask rolling your eyes

“There’s access to the servers from this security room since the facility houses both companies.”

you snort

“You’re trying to hack the credit loan company next door?” You try to hold back giggles

what kind of kings, please you think sarcastically

here you were stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars and he was trying to hack a credit loan company

“Information is much more valuable than money sometimes, a big drug smuggler wired money through this place and I want to know how much.” He shrugs

“Speaking of information...” he says turning to walk right up to your chair

you’re taken back as he walks right up in your face

“What’s your name?” He asks placing a hand on either side of your chair

his weight being balanced on his hands resting on the arm rests of your chair

his eyes inches from yours

“I don’t kiss and tell.” you say not backing down from his stare

it was hard breathing with him so close

he smiled

“Let’s trade info then.” He laughed, “a name for a name.”

“How can I trust you?” You saying tilting your head

he steps back from you finally giving you room to breathe again

“You can’t trust me, but I promise that I actually do keep my word... sometimes”

you looked at him trying to decipher his words

he looked like that joking smirk was forever an aspect of his face

but in his eyes

you thought you saw something genuine

curiosity maybe

or something else

“Fine, my name is y/n.” You give in, “but maybe I’m lying or maybe I’m not.”

“I’m Lee Jihoon.” He said breaking out into a smile before continuing his hacking

at that moment your phone vibrated indicating your clients were done with the job

Jihoon was still bent over his laptop typing away

you thought about his adorable smirk and how it made your heart skip a beat

and you blushed, flustered that he showed you up last time

but this time you’d be the last one laughing

you unhooked your USB that had been preventing the alarms from going off and ignored the warning window

and that was when the security room’s alarms started blaring making Jihoon jump

“Well hate to run while we were having so much fun,” you smirk, “but good luck explaining this to the cops.”

you ran out the room right as the doors locked behind you

as you looked back at him after getting into the car

rather than angry he looked exasperated

and slightly impressed maybe?

you drove off before the police really did appear

“SHE AHAHAHAHA SHE AHAHAHA LOCKED THE ROOM AHAHAHAHA.” Mingyu was dying on the ground laughing

“I swear I might actually shoot you.” Jihoon said blushing

“You have to admit she got you.” Joshua said bringing Jihoon a cup of cola and hiding a smile

“SHE FREAKING LOCKED HIM IN THE SECURITY ROOM!” Mingyu howled

“Wow she must be something.” Jeonghan chuckled, “When was the last time you were caught off-guard, Jihoon? I can’t remember that ever happening.”

“Luckily you got out before the cops showed.” Seungcheol smiled patting Jihoon on the back

they were all having a tad bit too much with the situation

“She must not know who she’s messing with.” Minghao said before getting up

“So tell me her name.” Jeonghan snickered

“Y/n.” Jihoon said done with everyone

“I’ll have her file to you by midnight.” with that the gang dispersed, leaving Jihoon to wonder

what kind of person are you?

you had a lot more run-ins with “Lee Jihoon” after that night in the security room

whether you were out doing little jobs or big ones

he always seemed to know where you were

“Are you following me?” you asked him one night

the both of you were at city hall

you were trying to get into the mayor’s financial plans, info that would sell

and he was connecting to the police line

“Why would I do that?” he retorted

it was dark so you didn’t see him blushing

but he had indeed followed you here

he wasn’t sure what it was

but you had not only intrigued him and caught his attention

but Jeonghan had been unable to dig up anything on you

which was almost impossible

Jeonghan knew how to get anything on anyone

and so Jihoon was here to find out info the old fashion way

talking

“You seem too smart of a person to be a criminal.” he began looking over your shoulder at the laptop you were working on

“So do you.” you respond ducking out from next to him to continue working

“I’m not a genius, but I think that if you’re not the best at something, you’ll always put more effort into it.” he shrugged

you clicked your laptop shut

“Wanna go get coffee?” you said suddenly

he looked up in surprise

“What?!”

“It’s almost 5am, and from running into you consistently these past few days, I realized I never thanked you for saving me from that guard. I’m not sorry about the security room thing though, that was funny.” you laughed, “but I’m going to go get coffee and if you want I’ll buy you a cup too, that way we’re even.”

“I don’t see how coffee makes us even.” he snorted

“Fine I’m leaving then.” you briskly turned around and started walking

you hear him jog to catch up to you and fall into step next to you

“Coffee is better than nothing i suppose.”

over a cup of coffee the two of you talked a bit

“So where did you learn how to hack?” you ask

“Are we close enough to be asking those kinds of questions?” he responded taking a sip of his coffee

“I suppose not.” you looked down disappointed

you weren’t sure about Jihoon

you two had met under dangerous circumstances

and you didn’t know enough about the guy to suddenly start liking him

but every time his eyes met yours

or whenever you watched him swiftly hacking into something

fingers flying over the keyboard the way a pianist’s fingers played the piano

you couldn’t help the feeling of awe and curiosity

who was he?

Jihoon coughed

“How about we start with what we do for a living?” he laughed, “I think that’s enough for now.”

so you told him a bit about being a hacker for hire

nothing really interesting

besides living

that’s all there was to it

you were just living your life one job at a time

he sighed

“I think I understand.” he looked out the window

“I was like that too until I found the others.” he stirred his cup before downing it

“Others?” you ask

“My friends, I guess you’d call them.”

you pursed your lips

“Don’t you know what friends are?” you asked in return

“I don’t really trust people you know, occupational hazard.” he chuckled

you understood

people too often stab you in the back when you’re doing this kind of job

it was hard to find anyone to trust

his phone buzzed

and you watched as he picked it up

“Looks like I gotta go.” he smiled, “It was actually kind of fun to see how normal people live out of the shadows.”

you nodded in agreement

“It was also nice talking to you.” you said reaching out to shake his hand, “Hopefully our next few run-ins can be on more friendly terms.” you laugh

he reaches for your hand

gently, as his hand takes yours

and as he pulls you closer to him

“Stay safe.” he says gently into your ear

and then he’s gone

you sit frozen in your spot at what just happened and look over at his empty cup

on the cup are nine letters scrambled up

you stare at it recalling him writing it on his cup when he was talking with you

and you realized

it’s his number

you pick up the cup, unconsciously smiling

and go home

you don’t see him the next few nights

heck for the whole week you don’t

you half-expected him to melt out of the shadows with a smirk on his face and some teasing comment about your hacking abilities

but he wasn’t around

it was more than a bit worrying

you had his number and you were tempted to call

but could you?

you shook your head as you made your way out that night for your next job

the client had been a bit of a mystery

they called using a disposable phone which wasn’t uncommon

except they also used voice modulation

suspicious perhaps but you were getting paid

you walked up to the address they had left

a small office building

and climbed in through a window

gently setting your things down you were about to begin when

the whole world went dark

and suddenly the smell of chloroform made the world feel dizzying as you slowly closed your eyes

when you woke up

your head hurt and everything felt upside down

but more than that

what greeted your vision first

was the appearance of a gun

pointed right at you

“You’re up.”

the voice was rough and you felt like throwing up at the sound of it

“Yea I’m up you freaking asses, what the fuck do you want?”

“We require your services.”

“Then go through the proper channels and pay me you pricks.” you said trying to keep clam

the gun was raised

“Is this enough payment?’ the voice said indicating the gun

“Whatever, let’s just get this done.” you took deep breaths

not that this hasn’t happened before

but you had never had a gun so close in your face

and it was terrifying to think you might not see the sun rise today

you pulled up to the desk of the room the men were in

and turned on the computer as they watched you

whoever had programmed the firewall for the servers knew what they were doing

you were nearly stumped

until you remembered something Jihoon had done that night in the security room

why did he come up in your thoughts now?

you remembered him telling you to stay safe

and looking at the guys with bullets ready to be fired at you

your eyes started tearing up

you know how these things go

as soon as you were done, you were dead

“Hurry it up.”

you opened the files on the computer and looked through some of it

a lot were mainly book stuff

how much this group was getting paid and when the latest orders for weapons were coming in

you assumed that whoever you were hacking, they must be a competing gang to the men currently holding you captive

you looked deeper into the files until you stumbled across a peculiar file

in it were names

“Yoon Jeonghan” you read to yourself

“likes napping and stealing my cola mostly, overall a good person to talk to”

“Hong Jisoo” you read the next file

“quiet and also not quiet, good listener.” you were curious

what kind of files were these?

and then one file popped up

“Y/n L/n.” you held your breath

“likes coffee at five am in the morning”

you knew who the computer belonged to

a bang on the door jolted you from the files

“Fuck!” the men scrambled to brace themselves as the door blew open

you took cover under the desk as you heard bullets going off and yelling

maybe this was all just a bad nightmare

you closed your eyes and silently listed off numbers

a hand gently took yours and you opened your eyes

Jihoon was there with the most adorable and relieved smile on his face

“Well, had I know you were coming to visit me today, I would have bought coffee.” he pulled you up into his arms and gently walked you out the room

“Don’t mind the guns and stuff, I’m sure you’re not all too curious about the guys that tried to kill you.” he said

you heard an edge to his voice but didn’t look at your surroundings until he had lead you to a separate room with a couch

sitting down with you, it finally hit you

you’re not dying today

you were shaking as he gently placed his arms around you

“I’m surprised you broke through my firewall, guess I have to fix that as soon as possible.” he chuckled wrapping you up in his arms

“The frick Jihoon.” you laughed smacking his arm, “I almost died and exposed your identity and you’re concerned about your firewall?”

“Well yea.” he smiled, “And I’m trying not to bash their heads in but Seungcheol said that would require a lot of clean up in the morning and I’m not down for that.”

you weren’t sure if he was joking or not

“Kidding, kidding, they’re all ok and currently being dropped off at the police station with a note that says ‘courtesy of your friendly neighborhood mafia’.”

“I still have no idea if you’re joking or not Jihoon.”

“Let’s just pretend I’m serious then.” he said as you both started laughing

“I’m just glad you’re safe.” you said blushing at hearing your own words

“Why wouldn’t I be, you were the one in trouble here y/n”

“I could have taken them.”

“Sure sure.” he smiled

“Listen, I’m not letting you out of my sight again. I genuinely thought that perhaps it’d be safer for you without interacting with me, but this situation only proved that I can’t let you go anywhere by yourself.” he said turning to face you

“So stay here with me will you?” his eyes looked gently into yours

“I-”

“We have high speed internet and netflix.” he laughed “If you’re interested.”

“So I’d have to live with the mafia?” you asked raising an eyebrow

“No you’re just living in our territory and that way I can see you more often.” he shrugged

“Ok but only if the netflix thing is for sure.” you laugh

and you’re surprised as he gently presses his lips against yours

the scent of something floral and citrusy warming you as his gentle lips kissed yours

“As long as you’re here with me.” he said

I’d like to pause and take a moment...

Ok so I have the best fucking friends on this website and tis the season so I wanted to thank them and let you all know how much they mean to me!!! I get obsessed with things rather quickly and tend to move from one to the other but hockey is something I’ve stuck with for quite awhile and I’ve met some amazing people here.

@filip-chytil - This boo was my first friend on this website! I had some random contest when I hit 100 followers I think and she won and so I got her this Rangers shirtsey and Idk she felt obliged to talk to me I guess XD She showed me this awesome ice cream place in Philly when I came to visit her and did stupid shit with me purely because I wanted to (she’s too cool for that.... ZEPH YOU KNOW WE DID IT FOR THE LANYARD! XD) She’s the best and I love her!!! (Rangers fan and all.... she also told me she had Avs merch and it was lies I tell you.... but she didn’t let me get jumped so....)

@baercheese- Like my real life BFF who eats all the time and I swear to god she has a list of places we’re going to eat when I get there... she’s my Blackhawks boo who I befriended when she asked for life advice (I’m a terrible person to have as an advisor but she was depserate)... got me into a Canucks group chat that didn’t end well but it’s the thought that counts XD Problematic cause she hates the Leafs... apparently its a Western Canadian thing... we have a countdown to when Im going to visit her and we’re gonna get a puck (it’s not going to be a Leafs game though so no worries)

@thewanderingdreamer- IT STILL DOESNT LET ME TAG YOU YOSHI.... Anyway this boo is fabulous... she lets me rant and sends me pictures and gifs of puppehs and kittehs and hot guys... What a shirt.... we’re both getting that shirt at some point in our lives...

Finally my main squeeze @mystupidlovesongs.... We haven’t been friends long (like a year but still...) I love this bitch so much.... she lets me rant and vent when I need to and in return she tells me all about the sugar daddies she collects on here (omg its so funny like not even the porn bots guys). Like legit... I’m totally bi for her... but I also love her and her short stature... (I have a picture of her looking like a little kid next to a big tire saved on my phone). We have the best convos and she always is willing to kill my work partner for me (or help me do it or marry me so I can have Spanish citizenship). We have #TeamMally and she has the same opinions as me and you know the thing about those who judge together stay together? That’s us...

Anyway I want you all to know how much these 4 have helped me over the year and change Ive been on this hell site. I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!!! Whether depression or shitty coworkers or hockey boys these four love me (and understand I’m petty AS FUCK AND STILL LOVE ME)... I have others I talk with often on here and I love all of you! I love being recognized as, “The one that stans Yongguk” because yaaaasss, that means I’m doing my JOB RIGHT. Now, WHY I bias the man, that’s a legit good question...Why DO I bias Yongguk? I actually used to bias Junhong (I still love the kid though, trust.) I actually used to think the COMPLETE opposite of Yongguk; I literally called him some things I feel horrible about and I would say he was scary looking and how could one ever like him. What I didn’t know was Yongguk was sneaking up on me slowly until he suddenly went on his hiatus. I had done this little tribute thing for him of having him on my phone and I kept telling myself that after his hiatus, I would put my biases back on my wallpaper but it just...never happened? xD I just slowly fell for him and the guy wormed his way into my heart and became my ultimate bias. He’s the guy I always say is the only one I would ever truly marry haha thanks for asking this! I wish we got more questions like this. Maybe we’ll do a text post like this soon! :)

Trust me, the noona life chose me… haha see, I remember the first BTS video I ever saw and my boy was a cop! Yup this is “Dope” we are talking about. As you can imagine my noona heart could not contain the kookie attraction. I tried really hard to not choose kookie as my bias. In my early days I even switched between Kookie and Jin (it’s become a running joke now, until Kookie was an “adult” I actually had 2 biases and I would average out the ages hahaha) Kookie was always my number 1 though! As I was trying to decide if Kookie was indeed my bias, I came upon a gem on youtube: Jungkook vs Kookie search that up and you’ll see how he finally won my heart. It was his personality! He is so shy and goofy all at once, and he’s so kind and I am just crazy about him! He stole my heart and he will forever be the only maknae that makes my knees weak!

It all started many years ago, when a friend of mine showed me a music video of BTS. I believe the first one was Bulletproof and I wasn't into it whatsoever. But then, the next one she showed me was Boy In Luv and I didn't like it much at first, but I was very fascinated by the blond hottie. I later found out his name was Rap Monster (RM now) and it was a downward spiral from there. I watched all of their Bangtan Bombs and looked up Namjoon’s covers and tracks he had released when he was basically a fetus *cough* expensive girl *cough*. I used to be, as some would say, a kpoppin hoe because I was always jumping from bias to bias. But guys, I kid you not, I have stayed loyal to my bias. I can never love no other lol. He’s just a piece of art! His deep voice, his dorkiness, his intellect, the way he speaks english, HIS DIMPLES! I love that he has such a beautiful heart and that he’s such a great leader. I love everything about him! Even the way he dances lol. Gosh… I’m getting emotional now… Every time I see or hear this man, I literally hyperventilate and cry. The other admins are witnesses. I’m crazy for this man! I would like to say more but I will literally talk nonstop if I don’t pause now. 👋

J-Hope hands down. I just admire him so much. He is everything I wish to be as a human being. Funny story is, when I was first introduced to BTS I told a friend of mine “For sure I'm not going to bias him. I have enough hyperactive energy from T.O.P.” Life is funny that way and now I wouldn't have it any other way. 😘

If I really sit down to think about it, there are many reasons as to why Namjoon is my bias, I mean what isn’t there to love about him?! Firstly, Namjoon is a wonderful leader. He’s able to care for six other boys and able to complete his duties as a leader, while at the same time always taking into account all the other members’ opinions and never making it seem like he’s above them. Namjoon is one of the most intelligent people I have ever come across and he seems like the type of person you can talk to for hours without feeling bored. He has this way of making everything sound interesting and I love how in interviews he always shares way too much information when you ask him about a topic, it’s so adorable. I love that even though he’s extremely busy he manages to make time to appreciate the little things in life (nature) and even draws inspiration from them! All in all Namjoon is far from perfect and that’s what makes me love him so much. It may seem ironic and somewhat contradictory, but it’s true. Throughout his career he has struggled a lot, has had many scandals, and has made many mistakes, but he has learned from it all and has grown as a person. I love that I've had the opportunity to be a part of this, and I hope to continue to be able to do so!

Weelllll at first I was not that into RM because in the Dope MV he looked like a little f-boii but i was completely wrong. His dorky and philosophical self just creeped up into my heart and nestled there for a good while. Now I have discovered MONSTA X and my heart is shaking again. I don't understand this thing i have for weird/dorky rappers with deep voices, but freaking Im Changkyun is creeping up and is neck to neck with RM. Stay tuned to see what happens next!

Wellll if we’re going down memory lane...I’m kind of new to KPOP so when I discovered Got7’s Just Right about a year or two ago I immediately jumped on the Jaebum wagon. I was a goner for I’d say a good month or so. But then Jinyoung happened lol. You see I didn’t pay too much attention to him and I’m not really sure how I didn’t considering the fact that I did think the group was really cute and funny. But when I finally noticed him it was in the Stop it Stop it mv and I just lost it after. I’m pretty sure it was his voice that got to me first almost as if my heart was being tugged at each time I heard him sing so I was practically already in danger. Then all it took was for me to watch If you do and I was done for, completely loving that beautiful human being. I love love his smile like I can’t get enough of it anytime I see him smile I’m just pudding and when he laughs and his eyes crinkle it’s the best thing ever. Like I live for the times that I’m able to see him laugh wholeheartedly. I also love the fact that he loves reading (as I’m a book lover myself). I also can’t help but love that little mischievous side that he brings out when he’s having fun it’s the best thing ever. Oh and one crucial point I..Love..His..Peach, when I tell you that his peach is my top fave I MEAN IT. I’d say more but then it would probably come out to be an essay 😅.

Compliments, cuddling, sweet "i love yous" and such. Thanks for reading my silly prompt, again yojr writing is awesome! Purple Flame Man needs more love! XD

(aw thank you so, so much sweet anon! i 100% agree with you on needing more love for UF Grillby - and i am always into writing the firebae, so i’m quite delighted to take another swing at him… admittedly, perhaps too delighted. so here we go, some fluff with the purple flame man to hopefully tide us all over~)

You had felt the quiet roiling fury and frustration of Grillby’s soul even from your apartment miles away from his bar. Your hands were donning your coat before you had a second thought - it had been a long time since Grillby had been like this, and ego be damned - you were going to be there for him if…

… You paused. No, no, you had a better idea, upon that second thought… one you think would be much better for him in the long run. He didn’t need to get the urge to dust a monster for threatening you should you end up snapping back at their rude demeanor… again.

So a few hours later, at a time so late in the night that it was dangerously close to better being deemed the early hours of the morning, you heard Grillby’s door click open and slam shut. The rush of heat was immediate - but you had planned for that, and were dressed in far lighter clothes than the outside weather would call for. You had also planned for the sudden quiet from him, cut off mid-roaring crackle, as he registered another presence in his apartment, and before he could gleam further information-

“Hey there, Grill,” you greeted, stepping immediately into view, your voice soft and your expression knowing. He sighed at the sight of you, and you felt a brush of his energy by your soul as he recognized your presence the moment before he even caught sight of you.

“… Hello, my dear. What are you doing here?” He said, striding over to you. The tension in his shoulders was obvious, even as his anger tempered marginally at greeting you. His arm circled your waist and he leaned down, immediately claiming your lips in a kiss, his burning temperature just shy of pain, causing you to sigh into him and press into his hold a little more firmly despite yourself.

His chuckle buzzed against your lips, doing terribly wonderful things to your core even as he pulled away, his one arm still around your waist, the other lifting so his hand could lift to your chin.

“… Not that I mind, of course,” he continued, his voice decidedly lower.

You laughed - a little breathlessly - and shook your head. “Well, being greeted like that is never a deterrent,” you said, a mischievous tilt to your expression. You pressed a hand to his chest then, willing yourself to push back the desire a little to better attend to your original intentions. “But no, I wanted… to do a little something for you,” you said, your tone softer once again, a smile on your face.

Grillby’s expression shifted, a flaming violet brow quirking upward as he considered you… then followed your gaze as you looked back towards his impeccably crafted stone table. You had laid out drinks, including a particular blend of whiskey you knew he was fond of, accompanied by a favorite meal of his that he himself had taught you how to cook.

“… Well, I know I’m certainly not in any sort of line with you in terms of cooking… but I thought with how I felt your day seemed to go-”

“It’s perfect.”

Grillby’s words cut you off as you looked back up to him, your cheeks flushing. He was looking back down at you - there was no smile on his face, but there was something painfully, beautifully intense in the white-hot glow of his eyes as he held you closer yet.

“… Come on, before it gets cold,” you replied softly, catching his hand at your chin to press a small kiss to it.

You ate in relative silence, a comfortable peace coming over you both as you chose a soft, instrumental playlist to let play in the background. He set down his silverware as he finished and leaned back in his chair, his legs stretching out, brushing against yours as he lifted his whiskey to his mouth. His eyes leveled on you again, and you leaned back and lifted your drink in turn as you returned his gaze.

“If you’d like to talk about it, I’m here for you,” you offered as he took a sip. It was an offer you had made before, and meant just as genuinely then.

He continued looking at you, then finally sighed and ran a hand through the flames flaring over his head. He scowled as he focused on his whiskey.

“My dear, it is nothing I wish for you to be concerned over. Simply… ongoing frustration with a certain status of things.”

You leaned forward, your hands near his. “That’s a terrible argument, and you know it. My concern is for you, so that would only naturally extend. I’m never burdened by knowing what matters to you.”

“For a human, you’re incredibly quick on your feet.”

“I’ll take that as the well-meant compliment it was for no doubt the dozenth time. And my statement still stands.”

His gaze shifted to you, catching the soft grin on your face. He huffed, the sound half a laugh, half something of disgust at whatever was running through his mind.

“Very well, then.”

Without ceremony, he stood and in the same motion swept you out of your chair and into his arms. You, admittedly, squeaked, which led to a devilish twist in his otherwise stoic expression. Your arms had looped around his neck, so you pulled yourself just a little closer, leading to a thrill of warmth near your soul as his responded to your actions. You smiled, pressing a kiss to his neck.

He hummed, a low rumbling sound that you could feel throughout his body. Now in his bedroom, you felt him shift to remove his shoes without letting you go. He sat down in his enormous bed then, the pristine comforter barely budging as he did so - you knew from experience it was weighted, lined with a special material that both allowed air through while retaining heat. Pillows shifted behind you both as he leaned back, releasing you just enough to where you could lay slightly over him, slightly alongside him.

One arm held you close, the other released you in favor of his hand roaming to your hair, twisting it in his hands, lending a particularly soft curl to the locks he twirled absently around his fingers.

“… The human official returned today, saying they were going to reject my filing for their absurd liquor-brewing laws. Apparently, they cannot trust the quality or purity of something ‘hand-brewed by a monster’,” he sneered. You felt the anger rising in him again, his heat flaring just slightly with it.

“We’ll appeal it,” you said softly. You knew he wasn’t a fan of vague sympathetic apologies. Instead your head rested near his shoulder, your hand smoothing out gently over his chest, your thumb brushing in a gentle, reassuring motion. “I’ll appeal it. I may have a connection that could help us - you,” you said, correcting yourself as casually as you could, hoping the heat of your cheeks would be hidden amongst the ambient heat of him.

Grillby was quiet for a moment, his hand suddenly still. “… us,” he said, repeating your word back at you.

You didn’t say anything.

“… us,” he repeated. His hand tilted your chin upwards, gently forcing you to look at him. His gaze captured yours, and you felt your soul tighten in your chest at the bright, unmistakeable burning of his flames. His voice was quiet, a rough, low, serious crackle that pierced straight through you. “My dear. Do you truly…?”

You weren’t sure you were breathing properly, but you found your voice. “I love you,” you replied. “I know that. You know that. My soul knows that…”

It throbbed happily in your chest at your words, and you felt Grillby’s energy brush against you again.

You continued, “… and, well, I think your soul knows that, Grill. I don’t - nothing has to change. But I love you. I love your sharp mind, your cunning - the way you’re able to analyze and measure every situation to your best benefit so quickly, the deft slip of your hands as you mix drinks or cook, the way you stride through a room and command everyone’s attention should you wish it - the way that beneath the commanding and sharp exterior, you’ve got an indescribable and unwavering passion for your craft and for those you care about… And… just - no matter what this shitty world throws at you, I’ll be by your side, as long as you’ll have me.”

Your hand had drifted to his jaw as you spoke. You held him as he held you, a long, quiet moment stretching between you both as something swelled and burned and sung so very, very sweetly between your souls.

At last, he pulled you closer yet, his forehead tipping to brush against yours.

“… You mean that, I can feel it…” he murmured. It wasn’t quite disbelief in his voice, but something so very close to it, so close that it made your hand smooth downwards towards his neck, unable to find words, but grounding him with your caress as surely as he was grounding you in the storm of swelling emotions twisting and slipping between your souls.

“Every word and more,” you said.

He closed the last breath of distance between you, capturing your lips once more in a kiss. This one was even more insistent than the last, a passion and need behind his movements that had you letting out a soft gasp as you returned the kiss, your hand gripping at the strong line of his neck as his hands dragged red-hot along your skin, a thrilling heat that only had you wanting more.

“Grillby,” you gasped as you broke away just for a moment.

“I want to claim you,” he said simply, his gaze unwavering, intense, absolute. “You, dearheart… I love you. I love you, so much that my soul can barely stand your absence, so much that despite every inch of what has occurred in my lifespan warning me of the dangers of attachment - I would rather take on the world than have you parted from me,” he swore.

Your breath was fully stolen from you as he kissed you once more, pulling back only a breath’s space to speak once more.

“My soul is dark, my dear, something I know you’re aware of by now. It burns fiercely, but many a charred mark stand on its surface for what I’ve done. And still… if you’d have it, my damned soul is yours, as surely as yours would be mine.”

You lost your battle with the wetness pooling at the corners of your eyes. Despite it, your voice was firm and lined with the pulsing joy emanating from your very soul as you dragged him in for another kiss, your words ghosting over his mouth.

“Grillby, you brilliant, handsome fool, I’d want nothing more.”

I think everyone thinks they know a little bit about her (as in, the characters in the story), but ultimately, they are all missing pieces of information. I think there is an element of sadness for both Yoongi and Namjoon, because it’s kind of like the souls who lost their way a little? At least that’s what I feel sometimes ^^ And you’re 100% right!
