you try not to hover. you try not to act like mother hen in fear of being annoying. you try but it's so god damn hard when seungcheol looks like a dead man standing. your boyfriend has always been a hard worker, that's one of the qualities you admire about him, but his work ethic is also your biggest worry. seungcheol is present but just barely - you are sure that he didn't hear majority of the things you said with his mind being very, very far from here, buried in new dance routines or lyrics that had to be finished. it's amazing to see how work energizes seungcheol and gives him purpose, but it's horrible to watch him crumble under pressure. slowly you reach out for his hand, giving it a light squeeze: 'cheollie, baby. you're with me?'

seungcheol blinks at your touch and it takes him few moments to sit up straighter on the seat and send you a fake smile. 'yeah, baby, sorry, i'm here. what did you say?'

god, you can't believe this man wanted to pick you up after your work. seungcheol can't be trusted with a car now, not when he can barely focus. 'i asked if yuo're sure that we should go out tonight. you look really tired, cheol.'

he stubbornly shakes his head. 'no-no, i'm good. i'm so caught up at work that we haven't seen each other much lately.'

you kind of want to strangle and kiss him at the same time. he is so good for trying to make time for you amidst his hectic workload but he is so bad for not taking care of himself properly - you sigh loudly. 'when did you sleep last time?' you ask straight to the point. thank god for traffic at this hour, so you can fully turn to your boyfriend without paying attention to the road. 'you look like a zombie, baby.' seungcheol purses his lips and you instantly understand what's the problem. 'cheollie... you can't fall asleep?'

seungcheol sags in the passenger seat, looking embarrassed and done with himself. 'yeah,' he admits quietly. 'i- it's so fucking stupid. i don't know, i'm trying everything but it's just not working.' he sighs and rubs his eyes tiredly. 'i don't think i actually slept properly in the last 4-5 days.'

this admission breaks your heart. seungcheol is running on fumes and yet despite it all, he still is here, with you, because he doesn't want you to feel neglected. without thinking you enter new address to the gps, knowing full well what can help him this time. 'instead of the restaurant, let's have a picnic,' you announce in an overly enthusiastic tone.

'at eight pm?' seungcheol asks, confused. 'i mean if that's what you want then i don't mind but-'

'that's exactly what i want.' you squeeze his hand, sending him a small smile. 'no worries, baby. we are very close.'

it doesn't happen often, but it did happen before. sleep deprivation is, unfortunately, a part of seungcheol's life as an idol and you learned hard way how to deal with it. familiar scenes of home or studio don't calm him mind down, but fresh air and water always help. you park the close as close you can to the river and roll down all windows, letting cool evening breeze in. 'alrighty,' you turn to him with a gentle smile and snatch small blanket from the backseat. 'you take this and get comfortable. i'll order us some food.'

seungcheol grabs the blanket, frowning. 'what is happening?'

'we are having a picnic in the car,' you explain, opening food delivery app. 'and you are sleeping until the food arrives, getting much needed rest.' seungcheol opens his mouth to protest and you cut him off: 'this is a date. this is our date that i want to have.'

the thing is, you don't really care about specifics of date as long as seungcheol is close. he doesn't look convinced at first, but when you start talking about your date with a quiet music on the background, he relaxes. it doesn't take him long to fall asleep - adjusted seat, warm blanket, fresh air and your hand in his do their magic. you watch quietly as his breathing slows; in sleep seungcheol doesn't look as tired. still holding his hand you adjust your own seat and lower the radio volume. seungcheol going out of his way to be with you makes you want to do the same; and if date is about you letting him finally sleep and guarding his sleep then you're not complaining, not at all.

In reverse, our Lilia’s reaction to his past self. It can go many ways as well. Depending on how General Vanrouge reacts. Papa instincts ✨

A part of me thinks that our Lilia is going to just yeet the baby at his past self. Deja vu right?? Don’t worry, he knows himself and knows the General will catch the little one.

After flicking Lilia on the forehead for his actions and letting Mal and Sil deal with him, you go to the General who’s frozen. He caught her of course, but he seems stumped on what to do.

You can’t blame him really. After being in war and seeing and dealing with what he has. This peace and quiet must be new, not to mention being in the future.

So you go to him and as gently as possible, making sure to not frighten him, move his hands so he’s more comfortably holding the baby.

Unknown to him, but his eyes softened as the little one curled into him while making cooing noises. You know your Lilia is taking a bunch of pictures.

“See? You’re a natural.”

He looks at you in disbelief but you can see the amazement in them too.

You tell him how he has no choice but to hold the baby now because she will cry if you move her from her new favorite spot. He flusters a bit at that.

Time goes on, General Vanrouge wears casual clothing and hangs up his armor temporarily after Lilia had a talk with him. His weapon is with him, you all understand why. His need to protect what’s his is engraved even though he doesn’t see it yet.

[Sometimes you see your Lilia looking at the armor. His eyes mixed with emotions. You simply lay your head on his shoulder; he kisses your hand]

The General gets attached to your daughter. She babbles at him and pulls at his hair. He tries not to flinch. For someone who was against raising kids, the General doesn’t say anything when your daughter stuffs his hair into her mouth or drools on him as she sleeps.

Lilia’s proud, “that’s my girl!” is often heard.

At one point, you take pity on him. You take a hairbrush, running it carefully through his hair before tying it in a high bun. You fondly roll your eyes at the pout your Lilia has before taking your daughter to feed. For the General’s sake, you chose not to comment on his flustered expression.

Our Lilia is repeatedly saying “spoilers” which irritates the General whenever he asks a question. You get why it’s frustrating but the scene is rather funny and your baby girl’s laughter agrees with you.

“I won’t have you ruining my future! I’ll have you know I wouldn’t change anything for the happiness I have now, so you have to be patient.”

Malleus and Silver both have the sweetest smile. They know exactly what he means.

The General watches how his future self acts. You can see the slight scowl and twitch of his eyebrow. He’s questioning his whole existence.

What surprises you is his question to you.

“Are you sure you want to be married to that?”

“Hey!”

You laugh softly, tenderly tucking a stray strand behind his ear, “Yes. He’s you, isn’t he?”

The smile you give him then has him falling deeper unbeknownst to him.

idk if u were looking for a real answer or not, but there isn't any secret other than just... a lot of practice 😅 practice and programs that let you manipulate colors, lighting & visual effects in very specific ways. I use a combo of photoshop & lightroom. Tho I have a VERY limited understanding of photoshop so lightroom is honestly my main tool ☺️

'i'm so sorry,' seungcheol says as he closes the door behind himself. regret swims in his eyes when he comes closer, stoping by the edge of the bed. 'this was not supposed to happen.'

'cheollie, you can't possibly be responsible for the weather,' you shake your head, pulling wool sweater over your head. god, it's freezing. 'and it's not your fault that heating is not working. you don't have to apologize.'

rationally, seungcheol knows that, but he can't help but feel utterly gutted. he was so excited for this trip and now it's ruined because of the snowstorm and fuck, inside of this room is probably as cold as the outside and isn't that an equation of a ruined holiday? whole group of friends is miserable but you don't look very bothered - your calm acceptance of the situation makes him feel just a tad bit better.

'the only thing that sucks here is only one bed,' you comment in a weird tone. it's far too casual for you and that's how cheol knows it's fake.

the whole ordeal is awkward - it's a friends trip, but it kind of also is a couples trip and everyone obviously is staying with their partners in the hotel rooms and that leaves you and seungcheol sharing a room. with one bed and no sofa. which is fine because friends definitely do that, so yes, it's fine. seungcheol feels like his heart is somewhere at his throat, but it's fine. 'i can sleep on the floor,' seungcheol suggests. hotel is packed and there are no other free rooms; sleeping on the floor makes him want to cry for his back, but he'll better have stiff back than make you uncomfortable in any way.

'seungcheol,' you frown. 'i won't make you sleep on the floor, are you crazy? it's okay, we can share this bed. it's fine.'

seungcheol's heart is about to jump out of his mouth. 'are you sure?'

you roll your eyes and yawn. 'yes, i'm sure, you idiot. we're both knackered after this 10 hours flight, let's just sleep please.'

you two are good friends and if you can be fine about this then so can seungcheol. that's what he keeps telling himself as he brushes his teeth. he watches you raid your suitcase for more socks and when you put another pair on, he winces in sympathy - he knows how you can't stand cold. 'are those wool? i can give you mine,' he suggests, walking out of the bathroom. 'and if you need warmer sweaters i definitely have those.'

you smile, shaking your head. 'it's good, no worries. if you're done then can you switch off the lights?'

it is decidedly not awkward to lie beside you, seungcheol realizes. his big feelings for you do not get in the way and when you start hogging the blanket, he says nothing, only smiles fondly. it's cold even for him, so he can't imagine how cold it is for you - the way you basically molded your body into a foetus position tells him that you're struggling way more than you're letting out. 'i should've brought heat packs,' seungcheol mumbles, knowing that you're not sleeping. 'are you very cold?

'mhm,' you mumble back. 'it is freezing.'

despite all the tiredness from the flight, his body is on high alert and your closeness makes it even harder to even think of sleeping. hesitantly, seungcheol reaches out and finds your hand under the blanket. it breaks his heart how cold your fingers are and he instantly squeezes them. cheol is a furnace basically, he always runs hot. and that's when the idea strikes him: 'do you want to cuddle?'

he feels you tense up. you two are good friends and fairly affectionate, but cuddling is not something that you both do. it feels like a step towards something...bigger. more intimate. more in 'relationships' side. and he is willing to step there, but if it's going to screw your friendship then he'll better forever stay on the friends side.

'cuddle for... what? warmth?' you question timidly, unsurely.

seungcheol nods so quickly, his head might fall off. he tries to stick to the logical reason as a vice: 'sure, for warmth. cause you know, body heat and.. all that.'

'all that,' you repeat, chuckling. there's a pause and then: 'only if it's okay with you.'

'i suggested it.' seungcheol opens his arm in an invitation. 'of course it's okay with me.'

it's more than just okay when you move closer, lean with your head on his shoulder. he's not breathing when you cautiously wrap one arm around his chest. he wonders if you can hear how fast his heart is beating.

'night, cheol.' you whisper, yawning. 'thank you for this.'

'good night,' he whispers back, pulling you closer. this, he decides, feels very right. 'always welcome.'

Hi, I just found your posts of the OT3 like a day or two ago, and now I keep having so many ideas!

These are two that have been living in my head rent free!

1) The idea of Silver realizing that no matter what happens, his parents legit have at least a bit crazier life than him. One of his dad is a Fae General who was at war against humans and fell in love with a human and got married to said human and has a bromance with his enemy. Said enemy was a knight fighting in a war against the fae only to end up in a marriage with one. His mom (who is a magicless human) traveled to a different world (twst), became friends with all these powerful people, ended up defeating so many overblots, went to the past where she met his dads, got married to them and had him, only to return back to the future to continue her schooling while being younger than her son. And anything that happens in NRC will not only affect him but also 2 of his parents seeing as they are also students there.

2) Interactions between the first years after this whole thing! Let's be honest, even if we are married and have a kid, we are still a part of the braincell trio and the first year gang. We are still going to be getting into random problems with them, Sebek will get used to the whole situation and return to normal, and we will continue doing crazy things. I need to see the others' reactions, including the our lovely sister-in-law.

Also, I was wondering if I could go by 📚🖤☠️ anon?

I know it takes courage to open up, especially when you’re feeling stuck and judged and unsure of everything. It’s okay if you’re not doing or achieving the expected. It just means you’re still searching your path and it’s never too late, even if you feel hopeless that life has been dictated by other people’s choices. You have your own timeline and your own pace in life.

I love that Yoongi became an inspiration for you. He’s been through hell and still kept going. I gently encourage you to find local resources or groups or communities to help you in your time of need—whether it’s career advice or just some human connection. I am sure there are free support groups in your area or even online that does peer-led counseling.

And again, Bangtan. Their songs hold so much hope. Try to hold on to that. Life is worth staying for.
