one of the things I had today got canceled, so here’s an updated version! I added some shading based on reference photos, gave him a background, and made him look (slightly) less baby.

Since someone asked who this dude is, his name is Trace, and he’s the main character of the story I’ve been working on (veryyyyy slowlyyyyyy). The plan is for it to be graphic novel, so sadly I don’t really have any excerpts to share as I need to finalize the script and character designs before I can start creating it 😓

Trace is in law enforcement (although he’s more of an inspector, not a police officer) and the story revolves around him and an illegal immigrant who came to his country from a vast, allegedly haunted marsh just beyond their borders. I wrote it as a short story about a year and a half ago, but there was a lot more I wanted to add, so I’ve been working on it on and off since then.

I haven’t tried to draw wet hair/clothes in a while so I got really excited for this prompt! I definitely could have done a better job if I’d used reference but I was too lazy lol… I might touch it up (and add a background) some other day when I’m less busy
