Well guys, today's Thankmas D&D charity stream was a monumental success!!

Our goal was to raise $1,000 for charity and we had reached $820...when all of a sudden, partway through the day, Jacksepticeye, the YouTuber who runs Thankmas, joined our stream! He does a thing each year where he finds smaller streamers and donates to their stream...he donated $10,000 to our stream and we were featured on his livestream!! No joke!!

I'm telling you, this has been a dream of ours since we started participating in Thankmas: to be noticed by Jacksepticeye and featured on his stream. We were so ecstatic and honestly, we're still reeling from it! It doesn't seem like it was real.

heyyy y’all, jacksepticeye is doing his annual thankmas!! this years charity is world central kitchen. please consider donating, its running all year long and the organization has been providing meals towards people stuck in disasters for over a decade. they have recently helped around 30,000 folks in gaza and have provided them meals, as well as ukraine!! they also provide meals to others around the world. click the link to find out more!!! just wanted to spread this around more. 🫶🏻

We've achieved something monumental today. My original goal was way back at that yellow dot - a more reasonable $150, which was already $30 more than I was able to raise last year. But people are kind. People are generous. People are willing to help a good cause when given the means, and as a result I've been absolutely blown away.

This tree is far fuller than I ever expected it to be. Each red or green bauble is a person who donated, with the red bells being for those who donated more than $50. The white bells were meant to mark our progress - a bell for every $25. I ran out. I don't have a single white bell left to add because I underestimated how amazing people can be.

The fundraising event is still up on Tiltify, and can be found here if you feel so inclined to toss a little more kindness onto the pile. But I'm exceedingly proud of the folks who helped us get to this point, and I'd love to make just as much of an impact when next year rolls around.

[Thankmas as a whole is currently sitting at over $6 Million in donations as of writing this post. That's a lot of meals for a lot of people who need them the most. Thank you to those who donated and to those who spread the world. We're doing something amazing here. Let's keep it up!]
