Yikes I look so young, yet I still feel so alive sometimes looking back a little to far can make you wonder where you are, yet other days when you reverse through time you get a good feeling of comfort making you understand that time might have passed quietly along but the magic you ‘ve found has stayed all along! This picture was at probably my third or fourth Serious job, when I just started out. I think about 15-16 or so years ago. My have time passed and have the world changed, all for the better if I might ad. I must admit whilst looking back at this it was a little before one of the biggest magical events of my life, and I am so thankful for each year so far, amazingly magical wondrous blessings. As the end of the year rounds off, I’m so impressed with all the styled shoots that I’ve seen my cohorts host this year in order to just create and keep inspired during this hard time! Kicking myself that I didn’t have the energy to do more than a couple because of this pregnancy but I will say that I wouldn’t change a thing! Thankful to be alive after seeing so much go down in the surrounding world! I know there is always next year!! AND I’m happy I did save my energy and time to invest in my couples who did not give up on me! I can’t wait to celebrate with many more next year! 2020 was not a waste at all if you’re still here reading this! You too did your part to keep your distance and practice safety precautions as you moved around town trying to find toilet paper and essential goods! Staying alive is so important, especially for all your friends and family who are far away and thinking about you. Just know... everyone is pretty much spending this holiday season alone but we’re not alone because we’re all in this together! I love the positivity I’ve seen online and the attempts to create experiences virtually! We attended 3 virtual baby showers this year of our dear cousins and it wasn’t so bad! We at least got to join in where as in previous years, the thought of broadcasting it would’ve been unheard of! There has been and will be so many great conferences to be held on @zoom this year!! I feel blessed to have been able to connect with some high profile speakers in ways I never thought possible before! And if you’re missing out on things like the Hmong New Year Celebration? This has been a hard one for me this week, yet I am thankful for this. The lessons we recieve in this life have everything to do with where we are headed, if you want to taste the sweetness in life, one must first endure what the bitterness is. When we have experienced this we get to see the beauty of the blessing that emerges from here. There is nothing else, there is only a gift of life here, if you choose to look for it. Upon opening your eyes and ears, the lesson shall come quickly, the need to move on swiftly will arise and you can release the energy with ease. Know that you are in full control of this life and everything that is going on in it. When it has you down and out, remind yourself that these times are necessary for me to truly embrace and be grateful for the good times. We all may say these words, I will know how to be grateful through all of this, yet in the end the truth of the matter is, until we have lost all of the "good" in our life, only then can we appreciate it once it has returned. Upon it returning you will see the tarnish on the other things you deemed as worthy of your space and time. This is part of the process.
