If you had to assign your moots to each one of your works, what would they be? (Like what fic of yours is most like which moot? Idk if that makes sense)

OMG HI wait this took me off guard i had to really think about it but here!!!! (i hope none of my moots mind me tagging them 😭)

@dorisnumber1fan - [when you're having a bad day and chan is still proud of you] this is a short drabble but i chose it because moon is legit the most supportive, sweetest person ever and she always knows exactly what to say to pick me up, just like chan does to reader in this fic (ilyyy <33) but also conversations with minho- the domesticity in that fic is smtg that reminds of her (with her husband minho ofc)

@rachalixie - a sun and a moon,, this fic reminds me of anny because of the way minho takes care of reader in it, just the quiet comfort of being next to them and reminding them that, while things might not get better now, they will eventually. i get the same comforting aura from anny in their replies to their asks/the comfort fics they write, very gentle and reassuring!!!

@soobnny - the only exception,, sue is just BRILLIANT, so funny and just radiates the sweetest energy like I'm sure barista!minho would fall for her in this fic SHE IS YN

@strayingawayy - nights with hyunjin,, just the gentle intimacy of this fic fits sho so well,, i remember our first talk about hyunjin and i feel these are quiet nights that they'd appreciate sm with their partner

@softquokka - photobooth, my mind went to this one just the fluffiest of fluffs because it's what you deserve for being an absolute angel to me since the start of this blog

@ashracha - enemies to lovers with seungmin for a night, IDK WHY my brain went automatically to this fic, i just think ash fits this fic so well like the VIBES match, but [jeongin when you're sad and you don't know why],, again just the kind of safety and understanding in love i think ash deserves!!!!!!!!

@amelee23 - young and beautiful, lee gets the hopeless romantic in me SO MUCH and i think she understood exactly what i was trying to convey through this fic, also she deserves a love like this one!!!!

@ellestray - the alternative,, i think the thrill of the risk but also the safety in knowing your lover won't leave your side fits elle so well!! changbin is so gentle and thoughtful in this, but also very emotionally mature and it reminds me of her too

@l3visbby - you're sexy, I'm sexy,, f2l with tension is the vibes i get from ola, also this fic was literally inspired by their moodboard OFC IT'S OLA

@hyunjinslittlestar - snow on the beach, my fellow hyunjin stan <33 in my mind that kind of soulmates love, where you've both always known fits you so well,, also i think this fic is very calming and serene, the same comforting vibes i get from you

like. imagine Nancy has already been struggling for a while with her feelings for Robin but she's still just one step from understanding what exactly she's feeling, right? but she knows Robin is gay, and of course she has to be there when Robin has that conversation with Mike, right? Nancy tells herself that she's emotional support for Mike and then she pretty much shoves him to the side and nearly yells at Robin "IS THAT AN OPTION?!"

Nancy: "So even if I did like Steve and Jonathan, I can like you too?" and after a moment of silence too long, "HYPOTHETICALLY. i mean that hypothetically..."

but also consider. Robin being the lesbian disaster that she is, hopelessly in love with Nancy Wheeler, 101% convinced that Nancy is the straightest girl in the world and probably still in love with Steve or Jonathan or literally anyone but her... she BELIEVES Nancy. like "sure! in theory, that'd be totally okay for someone! :D "

i'm betting only a snarky comment from Mike along the lines of "are you going to kiss right now? can i leave the room first?" is the thing to make both oh... OH....

and yeah mike leaves the room and then Robin and Nancy kiss for the first time <3

6. well. we have like, one popular pairing. i can't say i'm not fond of terrorcest, they have a very fun dynamic to play out. the one i'd have a gripe with is that soooooometimes there's a token mick/vince plotline just for the narrative parallel in a terrorcest fic, and they're a little weird, but honestly a good mick/vince plotline or fic is always a delight to read. final answer none of them my heart is big and i love everything <3

🕯️was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn't think it would take you?

'Pretenders' hasn't been hard to write exactly, but it's definitely been very, very nerve-wracking to share- I started posting it last year just before my brand-new-to-sharing-fic adrenaline wore off and suddenly made posting any of my writing unimaginably scary lol, so I've been dragging it out for my poor readers ever since. But what happened as a result was, I was so surprised and reassured and deeply touched by the enthusiasm and generosity with which people ended up engaging with this story and their willingness to follow me into thorny and complicated places that it actually changed the fic's trajectory a little! When I started posting it, it was pretty much fully complete on my laptop- I was always more happy with the first half than the second, which felt slightly less interesting and unique to these characters to me. I thought the concepts of self-aware narratives and performance and "pretending" as an analytical lens through which to view Garak and the Garak/Bashir relationship was far more interesting than what I'd done with it, and I was right! I was already feeling the urge to rework the latter half- and midway through sharing the fic (somewhere around chapter 6 or so) I had the thought, wow these people are really engaging with my story so thoughtfully and intelligently, I want to give them something more intelligent to engage with! So while this fic's ending has remained unchanged from my original idea, the how-we-get-there of it all has gone through quite a few rewrites. I'm much happier with how this version is turning out- I truly treasure the fascinating conversations people have been starting in the comment sections too, they have inspired me to make this fic so much better <3

💥find your least kudos'd fic - say something wonderful about it.

I turned off stats a long time ago, so I don't actually know what my least kudos'd fic is- if I were to guess, it's probably either 'The Trill with the Golden Gun' (which is an Ezri-centric jezri fic) or 'Under Your Skin' (which is very, very gen). Hmm... I like the former because I think it's conceptually interesting, there aren't many fics to my knowledge that focus on Julian/Ezri's breakup that aren't ultimately about Getting Them Together With The Actual Love Of Their Life (they do break up here, but only because Ezri joins Section 31 in a misguided attempt to take it down from the inside lol). I think some of the darker moments do actually work and I haven't personally come across any Section 31 fics that centre Ezri (though ofc I'm not assuming there aren't any!) so it's got uniqueness going for it at least. As for 'Under Your Skin'.... uhhhh it has a scene where Jake and Nog stink bomb a Changeling I guess? (I'm bad at this😂)

Someone's gotta watch after the Abstracted subjects. Ain't easy work but he's the god for the job.

Abstracted act more zombie-like than Pomni is in this AU tbh, very much hostile and take a LOT of time and attention to contain.

They experience auditory and visual hallucinations, lash out violently, and are prone to mutation; oftentimes amplifying existing features and abilities. Abstraction takes differently to each creature, but all infected bodies expel black sludge that isn't contagious, only leaves immediate negative side effects upon contact that is reversible.

The only reason they aren't eliminated is because they want to study where the infection comes from, how it occurs since it's not contagious, and find a way to neutralize/cure it if possible because C&A Labs put a lot of money in these monsters so theyre gonna preserve as many as possible, damnit.

Able's Abstracted residency on the lowest possible level of the Labs in an effort to keep them isolated from the other residencies spread throughout the facility. By nature of his duties, he's a busy man.
