7. How many ideas for fics do you have right now?

honestly, in terms of New Stuff i haven't really put out there, just one! and i don't really know if i have the energy for it haha it might just end up being better as a series of doodles, but i think it could be fun too. there are a few half-baked AU ideas but those will probably just be private threads and not full-blown writings, and there's the possibility of consolidating the songxiao adoption AU into a proper origins fic still but we'll see we'll see

13. How much planning do you do before writing?

i'm not sure what the average is! my discord is littered with little notes of what to include and sometimes the end of the wip doc will be the same, and sometimes it'll just be an idea and other times an entire conversation. i like to plan ahead!

You’ve been blurring lines lately.

Crossing boundaries that exist to keep you and Oscar as what you’re supposed to be— friends, roommates. Not whatever thing it is you’re both play acting as right now.

It’s not on purpose. It’s like the two of you just slip into it. Like, he calls you in for dinner and sets plates down and you eat facing each other like you’re a family. Like, you have to find him in the flat every time you get home to say hello and give him a hug. Like, your shoes are set next to each other at the door.

Lately, you’ve been watching TV together. You put the news on after dinner out of habit from the years living with your mum. Also out of habit, Oscar sits next to you on the couch. He starts on the opposite side, but your couch isn’t that big and your flat is cold. It’s not on purpose, but you always end up piled on top of each other.

Tonight, somehow, Oscar has slipped into your lap. His long limbs stretch down the length of the couch and his head rests on the blanket covering your thighs. He’s turned away from you, facing the TV and you’re staring. At the back of his neck, the freckles and moles there, his honey brown hair.

You don’t think about it, not really, as you gently draw a pattern between the moles on his neck. You feel him press back into you, ever so slightly. Your fingers drift into his hair, nails dragging lightly through the strands on the nape of his neck.

“That’s nice,” he mutters.

You hum, fingers drifting further up. Deeper into thick of his hair on the top of his head. Softly, you brush through his swoop of a fringe, scratching at his forehead.

He presses into your hand like a cat asking for pets. You laugh quietly, fondly at him and you don’t think about all of the lines you’re crossing.

Context

If you could remove one character's endowment (and optionally give it to another one), who would you pick and why?

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is taking Gabriel's or Paton's endowment because they wouldn't be quite happy with it (and quite a few other characters would hate having these and I want to see Them suffer), but I do think that they fit the characters well and they did make use of them for good (Paton w/ Yolanda, Gabriel in Phantom Sleepers), so they should probably keep them...

I think it would be pretty funny to yoink Ezekiel's endowment and wouldn't have any unforeseen consequences (they're literally useless. at most Venetia has to bring Beri back). also, give the abilities to Henry it would be hilarious <3

Shoutout to giving Billy's endowment to Benjamin so he can talk to Runner, but that would bring Ben to Bloor's and Billy back to his aunt and neither would be quite happy with that (well, Bloor's is better than both alternatives... maybe)

Also fun options: Florence or Usher de Grey. Someone Could cause so much chaos with these two but idk who
