a gifset you’re really proud of: sobbe gifset that took my pretty long to do and im very happy with results:+) i love how the coloring turned out and i tried new fonts thingy and i think it looks cool. only regret that i haven’t done it earlier when the tag was more alive. and also very proud of my traditions set my beloved

a gifset of your favorite remake: i don’t have a favorite one but i am focused mostly on wtfock and i really liked the one i made for finale and it made me pretty emotional while i was making it ngl

a gifset of a remake you haven’t watched/ don’t like/ isn’t your favorite: i only watched few clips from new seasons of skam fr so i will count it as a remake i haven’t watched. @feminizedbf is making the best gifsets for these seasons and im honestly in awe of his creativity and devotion bc the tag was so dead during the time the season was airing and the gifsets got only few notes which is very unfair because these gifsets deserve all the love. my favs are new gen + name etymology, favorite episodes and the one with nikita gill and this one absolutely broke me thank u

a gifset with a cool layout: idc care about the rules and will include 944838 gifsets because i can and they all are so so pretty and there are way too many talented people there. sobbe + the night we met @nyttvera is a masterpiece and i still think about it daily, also very like her layouts here and here. vendredi 20h27 by @feminizedbf in comics style is insane love it so much. i call @sandersyasmina a queen of layouts for a reason and this one with ohn is my favorite. it was hard not to include everything @sanderdriesen made because they all are so creative and beautiful and i will try to keep it short and not write essays on each of them. ohn and moving drawings of robbe, hotel clips, sobbe journey, dinsdag 16:31, are the ones that blew my mind and AND my favorite gifset of all time😙 also i very liked yasmina each episode series that @sanderxrobbee had going on, layouts on these gifsets are so cool. really loved layouts on gifsets for sobbe anniversaries @nellsdani was making and especially this one for woensdag 21:21 (and and really love this one for ohn and with robbe). @fatoujallovv is always so creative with layouts and kieutou gifset is one of my favorites

oh i was definitely nervous to post love is the tuesdays as i mentioned i’d been a while since i had written a fanfic and i always feel weird trying to write canon characters because i’m so afraid i won’t capture their characterization in the right way. also i was writing it based off this moodboard so i wanted it to be what everyone was looking for. however, as per usual like the clutch friend liz is she calmed me down.

a fic you wished got more hits/kudos/comments:

sometimes i feel like a dick saying this because it can come across like i’m not appreciative of people’s interest/compliments in stuff i do but it’s really not that. however, tbh, you’re never going to hear me complain about any feedback or lack thereof on anything i do. (other people’s things on the other hand...yes show them all the love please!) when it comes to me though ANY (even if it’s just liz screaming at me about it) is more than enough for me. i do everything for fun or just to get it out of my head so having even just one person enjoy it, i’m all good with that. so the comments/kudos/people interested in what i wrote/write, just thank you for showing any at all and as long as it makes one person’s day - i’m happy.

Ok so first things first this isn’t a goodbye this is a see you later. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the content creators this season you have made the first remake I’ve watched live the best experience so thank you.

hi! alive! checking in! not dead! viva! maybe a little bit in shock, but otherwise okay!

still writing, looking good, looking long, but who’s surprised anymore, right?

i have been dealing with a shitty stomach bug all week so my writing has been limited and a little weird? but it’s still writing and it’s still usable, so i’m on schedule. if everything keeps going well, hopefully the chapter will be up by friday.

all of your messages! i appreciate them so much! and when i’m in a more suitable mindset i will reply to every single one of you, but as a blanket statement: wow i love you you are so beautiful and thank you for worrying about me and thank you for being so kind all of the time and all of you deserve the world for it

re: allegations of another author “copying” from tmtts: honestly, i don’t know what to say. the similarities are reaches, imo, because i do not, in any way, own any of the tropes/small details in my story. in fact, last week i had another author come to me privately expressing concern that some of the details in their story matched some of my own, to which i replied, “why would that hinder you from writing the story you wanna write if you’re not blatantly stealing my entire outline?”

we are authors in a community filled with beautiful ideas and endless talent, but this community is so immense that certain tropes will often be used in different works of fanfiction across fandoms, and even smaller details in fanfictions within the confines of one fandom will always find a way to be similar. such are the limitations of working with characters that are, ultimately, not our own.

if an author is not blatantly plagiarizing a work -- i.e., writing near-exact sentences as the ones another author writes, setting up a near-exact same plot and outline and taking credit for the entire idea -- then there is no reason for concern. it’s a small fandom, babes! there are very little content creators left ever since the show’s over! please don’t try to alienate those creators, because they’re still creating content for you. and don’t try to pit authors against each other. this other author’s works and writing -- whom i’m withholding the name/url of simply because i do not want more people to delve into this situation than have apparently already tuned in -- are so beautiful and deserve their own separate recognition. they are talented in their own right and their own creativity. i know, i’ve read their stuff. there was no damage done there, at all.

so please, if you were one of the people sending this author any sort of hate, i do not condone it, nor do i applaud it. my fanfiction motto since i was thirteen years old has always been “don’t like it? don’t read it.” and you know, there were a lot of things wrong with thirteen-year-old me, and i have since stripped myself of almost all of her traits, but that’s a motto i still live by.

concentrate on sending love to those content creators you enjoy consuming content from! stay away from stories you don’t find yourself enjoying and keep your negative (especially if it’s simply nasty) opinion far from the author. seethe quietly or to a friend, but don’t discourage someone who’s literally just trying to put their work out into the world for free for the sake of others’ enjoyment.

and please, i implore you, take a second to step back the way i have for the past week and think about the toll this is taking on you as a person. don’t be the person online that you wouldn’t be out in the real world, because even though it may seem so trivial to you, masking yourself behind anonymous comments in a virtual world, there are still very real people behind the computer screens. and those very real people still have feelings, and still have problems, and are trying to get through their day just like you.

the show’s over! let’s take the lesson it tried to teach us and spread love. hit that restart button. start fresh. we’re literally all we have left, y’all. there is no more skam content. it’s a harsh reality, but the least we can do is make the fandom a kinder and more welcoming place. and i know this got way too long and is starting to sound suspiciously like a high school counselor’s mass email to the senior class with an attached mp3 file of “kumbaya my lord”, so imma cut this entire rant off here, but just know that i love you and i love this fandom and i am also on so many meds right now, man. so many.

okay! one last order of business! to the anonymous user that has anonymously messaged me through tumblr chat and who has since deactivated --- i don’t know what you gain from showing me these things for “my own good”, but if you were looking to make me feel terrible and hated then you have done your job. sometimes ignorance really is bliss, my love.

oh god this is so stressful?!?!? i’ll try my best!!!@snowbunnylester - Eliza is literally my best friend. I adore her so freaking much, she’s like the nicest person ever?? Even though we live across the country from each other, it feels like she’s with me because we talk so much and are always there for each other. Plus, she’s one of my fave writers and she reblogs the most wonderful things.@moondaniel - Charlie and I have been friends for about a year now and he was my beta for the phandom big bang last year. he remains to be a close friend of mine and we’ve even sent each other packages of candy from our countries! (he lives in germany and i live in the US). He’s a nerd but i adore him and he watches all of the Skam crack vids i send him even if he doesnt watch the show@jilliancares - I’ve always looked up to jillian ever since I found her writing and she remains to be one of my fave fanfic writers! I literally read everything she writes no matter what it is. Plus, she’s just a generally good person and always responds to all of her followers with respect! Good content 10/10@themostfuniveverhad - Gabi is literally one of the most popular phan blogs that I know, and for good reason! She has like 50k followers???? like HOW??? Well it’s because she makes bomb ass gifs and has good content! Literally without her, we probably wouldn’t have half of the content we do currently! She’s wonderful.@crescendohowell - I always considered Sam and I to be alike in many ways, except she is MUCH more artistic than me and she makes really cute edits! On top of that, she’s even good at writing? It should be illegal. I’ve never disliked any of her fics tbh, bc she has the type of writing that i adore!@phandommother - Julianna, Eliza, and I are basically a little club. Our groupchat name is literally Bitcherinos. Julie is one of my best friends and she generally cares about everyone. She is known to the phandom as ‘mom’ because she is the creator of @phanfictioncatalogue and because she gives the BEST advice. When I met her the first time, it was like a dream come true. I want to shout about her to the world. @cafephan - Along with being the sweetest person ever, Kirsten has created some of the most beautiful fics I’ve ever read. I was obsessed with a fic of hers for a very long time (and it still continues to haunt me every now and then). On top of that, she reblogs really good content and is such a nice person to all of her followers! I don’t think i’ve ever seen her be mean to anybody!@vivianadichiara - This blog is literally my FAVORITE blog to come to for art. They’ve made a few pieces of art for one of my fics and I literally cried tbh. Their artwork is. AMAZING. Like seriously you’ve never seen anything like it before. Plus, I love how their whole blog is so calming and aesthetically pleasing. It’s the place I go to when I wanna look at pretty things!@huphilpuffs - Callie is such a lovely person and they make really amazing gifs and write wonderful fics! I know a lot of people who think Callie is such a wonderful bean, and I’m one of those people, guilty as charged lmao. They’re just super nice to all of their followers and I always see their gifs show up on my dash! It’s such a blessing tbh.@maddox-rider - Once again, an AMAZING artist. Whenever I see Maddox’s art pop up on my dash, I thank my lord and savior jesus christ for blessing me once again. In fact, I also have a bunch of stuff in my queue by them currently oops (not sry tho). Seriously, if you want a good art blog to follow, I seriously recommend following them!
