¿What do I like about New gen?
When I started playing otome games I think I was about 12 years old, I was obssesed with anime and the idea of anime boyfriends, lol. After having watched and readed all the shojo anime and manga I could, I later discovered discovered this things called "otome games", and I can say I was more than excited about it. I first started playing on my PSP and after some time I found this online FTP game called "Corazon de melón/My candy love" and I couldnt believe it, I didnt have to translate anything from japanese or use guides I didnt understod just so I could play, I could play on my own language for the first time. Another thing that fascinated me was the community behind all that, with the episodes airing at the same time we played, it was like watching my own anime, the excitement, the theories, the mistery that came with every episode, I feel in love with the characters, the story and the fandom.
It's been aproximately 12 years since I joined the MCL fandom, there had been up and downs, sad momments, even depressing ones, but I wouldn't change it for anything. With the release of the new game it feels like that all over again, but with even more pros, Im an adult now, I have my own money (lol)! We can also have more mature topics and characters, I can do a lot more things and I can also interact with the community in a lot of different ways too, I can fall in love with the new characters and the story, all with a new sense of view too. I just love being able to be part of the story, to joke with the community, to do my own fanart, to do crazy theories, to be mad about Roy possibly being a cheater, to then discover it wasnt like that at all, lol. To first think I was gonna despise Thomas, to then have him be my second favorite and love him a little bit more than Roy sometimes. This has definitely become one of the little pleasures in my bussy and hectic adult life, and I would never stop apreciating it for it.
Thank you! @tetrakys
