Your fingers danced across the keyboard of your laptop as you felt your eyes growing weary. They struggled to stay open. Shifting your gaze up, you glanced at the clock and saw that it read 2:54 AM. You released a gently sigh from your parted chapped lips and returned your attention to the silver screen.

Despite being on winter break, there was still a lot of work you had to do for some of your classes and other personal things you needed to get done. You'd been staying at the Sturniolo's house in Los Angeles for a little while, to visit Matt while you'd been on break. But it didn't exactly feel like you'd gotten much of a break.

"Y/N/N?" Matt appeared into the kitchen, where you sat at the table. He looked tired and his voice was groggy. The light over the table was on, while the rest of the house was dark.

"Sorry, was I too loud?" You cringed your teeth and stopped typing for a moment as your weary gaze was on Matt.

"No, I was just thirsty, why're you up?" He asked as he led himself to the fridge to grab a bottle of water. It wasn't long before he shut it and with the plastic bottle in hand, he made his way to the table and sat beside you.

"I just have a lot going on that I need to take care of," You whispered, not wanting to wake Nick or Chris.

"Did you take a break at all?" Matt asked.

"No, there's no time for a break, I have to get this stuff done," You replied before returning your gaze to the computer and typed away again.

"Y/N," Matt started, but you ignored him and focused on the words you were typing into the document. However, those words would later be read as gibberish since your brain was completely fried, you could almost smell the burnt gears within your head.

"Hey," He poked your side, but you didn't budge. "Sweetheart, come on, you should really take a break. Too much work in one sitting isn't healthy."

"No, I need to do this," You replied, the exhaustion was evident in your placid tone.

"No, you don't," Matt stated and gripped your laptop, sliding it away from you on the table.

"Come on, Matt, I'm not kidding, give it back," You looked at him with annoyance.

"No," He shook his head.

You grumbled, "Why won't you just go away?"

"That's the last thing you need from me right now," Matt replied and gently closed the laptop. You watched his movements and sighed, too exhausted to fight him.

"Go to bed," He spoke quietly.

"Okay, but tomorrow, I'm getting right back on it whether you like it or not," You said with a subtle raspiness coming through.

"Yeah, whatever, just get some sleep," Matt smiled. You returned the gesture, sleepily. He took the laptop off the table and stood up from his chair. He leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your temple. "Love you," He muttered.

"I love you too," You replied with a sleepily grin.

Hello there dear, I just wanted to you to know that I have been fangirling over closer I get, can you resist? for some time now. I normally tend to avoid stuff where both of them are not drivers (one of them being an f1 driver though, that is my jam). But I read can you see right through me?  and I was hooked and wanted more, because that was some peak angst. So good, now I can not unsee this Daniel Charles angle it is forever written somewhere on my brain. So that is how I got to closer I get and it got to me with the first few chapters. Like it is such fun take on their dynamic and I the way you write pining/grovelling Mas is just so precious to me (also his obsesion with Charles while not realising that he is in fact obseses with him before they even got together, yay). And the way Charles is confused at every nice thing he does, it just made me swoon for them. They are just so good for each other in that fic. How both of them actually handle the thing with Pierre like mostly adult humans. Your writing is so good, it just flows so nicely. You get the characters across so well. So yeah, just came here to gush about you and your writting for a little while. I do have a question though, do you have any other projects in the pipeline? And a second one, how do you manage to have multiple wips at once (I would cry)?

and ugh, can you see right through me? rewired something in my brain when I wrote it. I do not know where it came from, but I’m so glad to hear you like that one as well. it was my first lestappen fic that I wrote (even if they’re only in it at the end 😅) so it’s very dear to me.

now, for other works, I have so many in my drafts, but they’re all one shots for now. I’ve been sitting on a Miami GP fic literally since Miami… but when it comes to lestappen, they really do get my brain juices flowing and I always have ideas to think of. though, my main focus is getting my main 2 fics pumped out before I super worry about anything else. of course, if an idea strikes me so, I must write it hehe 🤭

and onto having multiple wips at a time, it is a pain, trust me. I do cry a bit bc I feel I'm not being completely fair with updating both. however, CIGCYR, is already mapped out completely and just needs to be written. usually I am a go with the flow writer so I’m very happy to at least have an idea with where I’m going with that fic.

i am SO excited to dive more into football player eddy, i know it's such a massive cliche but it's definitely not something he's super excited about ... in my head, his dad def pushed him to learn car stuff (totally agree with you on that one!) and do a bunch of other stuff he didn't want to do, football included. i think eddy is the type of guy who takes a lot of pride in his work and his accomplishments, so i feel like his car is something that is REALLY dear to him and he actually does enjoy working on it. football for him (and this will def be more detailed later) isn't something that feels rewarding to him exactly, it's more of a responsibility from the pressure being put on him, which i think is ultimately making him dislike it. it feels more like a matienece (i can't spell that word it's killing me) thing to him now rather than something he can actually steadily work on AND continue to achieve and take pride in. i'm definitely projecting a bunch of my own brain stew on these guys but i like to think that eddy would really enjoy doing something more creative, imo i think he would love doing jazz dance classes or electric guitar or something like that.

hii x I know it’s been a couple of days already but I’m still yet to talk about watch you watch me. and yes I need to talk about it, I just needed a while and we as a society cannot move on so quickly from this!

maybe it’s because I literally folded in public when those plane photos came out, because to now have a fic based on them by one of my faves.. it’s just beyond amazing. I thought I’d be rereading it as soon as I finished but I get too emotional (how does one get that emo over a smut, god knows)

I love the way you add those tiny little details to the story, (the boardgames, the banter afterwards sksj). somehow the fic never feels like smut. I mean, it DOES feel like smut (😵‍💫🥵) but your writing makes it seem like truly part of the bigger picture every goddamn time. like, you take some time to build up the characters so that when the smut happens it’s just always more powerful to me.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again - this Lando of yours is McDreamy! 🧡 god I love him so much. how do you come up with so many versions of this silly little guy and it works so well!

can I also mention how those pictures you put before every fic undo me? you choose them so well that even looking at them sometimes makes me feel the whole vibe of the fic and idk I think that’s also a real skill and I wanted to show some appreciation for this Art™️

I just know preacher!rhett would be so gentle if his little lamb had bad anxiety. He knows that often, attacks will come out of no where, makes his little lamb fatigued and nauseous. He also knows that sometimes you don’t like talking when you’re anxious so he just holds your hand. If he’s driving, he’ll roll down the windows, if you’re a motel room he’ll hum and sing some hymns or read your favorite passages from the Bible to ground you. He’ll also make sure the truck it’s stocked with some plastic bags, water, and crackers in case you get sick. Just lil stuff like that makes all the difference to us anxiety ridden girlies (non-gendered).

Back to Empty Promises, first of all, how come there wasn’t enough feedback??? Oh no we need to change that. I read it when it got released. I LOVED THE ANGST. It was depressing as hell yeah- (got me feeling like life didn’t have meaning if I were to lose my cousin who’s like a sis to me cuz our relationship is very similar to Yunho and Mingi lol) but that’s why I love stories like these. Stories that show that not always there are happy endings, stories that are more realistic in how life can be and how much someone’s loss and absence can affect their life.

The writing was beautiful and really got me immersed imagining how the scenes played out and felt the emotions. I got so into it that I read it while I was shopping at Burlington with my mom and grandma lol. I didn’t wait to get home to read it after reading the first few sentences🤣🤣

You shouldn’t be too surprised; the new information about your slick has him nervous. It’s his job as pack omega to make sure that your sex lives aren’t too affected by this and any interruption.  

So after your doctor’s appointment, Namjoon and Jin sat the rest of them down and told them what to expect. Any thoughts of keeping it private were quickly squashed; It shouldn’t be a secret between the four of you- the others need to know before you take that step with the other alphas.

If you decide to take that step with them. You know it’s only a matter of time with Jimin and Tae but you doubt you’ll ever get there with Hobi. You don’t need to keep this a secret from him. It’s embarrassing sure but that’s the least of your worries.

Jimin had gone a little wolfish, his scent growing thick and musky. Whatever blush Tae had was quickly camouflaged in her powdery cheeks. 2. ahhh, no! i guess it’s not so bad being allergic to pet dander if you’re not an animal fan. 🥲 i have a whole host of little fluffs, many of which are just a bundle of fur with eyes dhdgf. i started out lockdown with a bit of a fear of rodents and came out of it with 2 rabbits, a hamster, 6 mice & 2 rats… so i did a bit of an uno reverse! 😭 opening my bedroom window in solidarity (… when daylight breaks, as it’s currently -4°C and my fingers and toes are icicles dhfgf ��️)
