Idk if you remembered but in vice versa ep 7 3/4, when they argued about the chicken and the sauce in the bus, talay asked “are we still talking about the chicken?” while in last twilight ep 7 2/4, day asked “are you still talking about the shoes?” Just wanna add that bcs no one mentioned it yet and the fact that I love reading your vv brainrot so much!!!! pls keep it coming~

This whole situation with Day saying that Mork needs to fly back again sends me to Talay telling Puen to communicate with Pang, and he says that they need to split up and look for their portkey

When Day asks Mork to give them a second chance to start over, I got Talay's vibes, who confesses his love to Puen on the bus. and their hugs are hugs in a glasshouse (ai dang).

i wanted to wait until i felt a bit better about the ending of last twilight before answering you, because i sadly gotta admit that my personal disappointment prevented me from catching most of brainrot, but that might take me a while and i didn't want to keep you hanging for too long

i apologize if i can't scream too much with you this time, but also i want to take this chance to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the past months. since we've started the vv brainrot back during only friends, your messages have been such a big source of joy for me and i was looking forward to them as much as i was looking forward to the episodes themselves. this time too, regardless of how i feel about the episode, getting your message and reading all the parallels you were able to catch made me smile a whole lot (DON'T WORRY I THOUGHT THE CAKE SCENE WOULD END UP IN A NOMNOM MOMENT TOO. PINKYBRAIN!!!!!!!! sorry for the late reply but this episode messed me up SO MUCH it took me five rewatches before being able to write this down without wanting to dive straight into the ocean THE VICE VERSA BRAINROT ONLY MADE EVERYTHING SO MUCH WORSE

i actually picked up some more parallels other than the ones you pointed out so here we go:

1) idk if it's a stretch but the opening scene reminded me so much of talay waking up puen in episode 7 like. the rather abrupt awakening. puen refusing to get up and take a shower unless talay gives him a bath vs mork refusing to leave day alone unless day calls him 'phi' again. puen/mork borrowing one of talay's/day's shirts (thankfully said shirt was not forcibly removed this time around, that truly would have pushed me over the edge)

2) i can't help it, every time mork makes a food related pun (bread-fast, false rice) i inevitably think of puen's carbo-narak ;;;;;;

3) AND SIMILARLY EVERY TIME MORK CALLS DAY 'MR.' SOMETHING I IMMEDIATELY THINK OF TALAY LIKE WASN'T LAST WEEK ALREADY ENOUGH WHAT ABOUT MY MENTAL HEALTH ✋😭

4) you mentioned this last time from the preview of this ep, but i want to once again point out just how insanely similar mork getting ready to go out for dinner with day and talay getting ready to go to the movies with puen (and up and aou) are

5) the entire 'practicing dinner so day won't feel embarrassed to eat outside' has the same deranged energy of 'following this pairing to see if they're a couple so it will help us write a better love story'

6) PUEN'S SPIRIT WAS LITERALLY IN THE ROOM WITH US DURING THAT ENTIRE DINNER LIKE

(kinda sad they translated 'teerak' as 'baby' in last twilight but we KNOW and that's all that matters) [also you're right mork using 'ter' with day after 'teerak' and 'faen' was emotionally devastating to a degree i can't even begin to explain]

7) GIVING FLOWERS AND TAKING PICTURES AS SHOWN BY THIS GIFSET

i usually come here once a week so as not to go crazy ahead of time, but i had a free min. i saw brainrot again and the mention of myself in it, and im happy that our teamwork on brainrot, monica, pleases you too tho. thank you for marking me. also monica it seems we forgot one of the main parallels in ep - i never did it. in vv it was in the bathroom when puentalay were taking a bath tgt and that was the turning point in this ep. in ltw its a fitting room they ve never been in with other ppl either. and the general theme of nudity and nudity ofc is that they have nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to hide from eo. im looking forward to tmr, thinking how much brainrot we ll collect this time have a good working day
