another rejection story which was funny was like in yr6 and my friend was like "hey i fancy u" and i was like ???? and i ran and hid in the toilets for the rest of lunch bc i was like 10. it was never brought up again 😅😅 my rejection skills did Not get any better lemme tell u (Besides.... who dates in primary school? 😭😭) (okay ive only rejected 2 ppl out of 3.5 confessions but those 2 were so bad i feel moderately guilty afsgsh)

ooooo theres this fandom which second most popular ship on ao3 is a platonic ship 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 and im SO invested in them becoming family again u have no idea i love them so much (and that's what annoyed me bc in the top ship in so so many fics it never had the platonic guy :,((( theyre brothers!! theyre brothers!!)

its not against ship fics! i read a lot of fics, and i enjoy all sorts. but sometimes found family... it just Hits Differently

fjdiejj valid!!! when i was in year 6 they did the whole sex ed thing but i was so cripplingly shy and easily embarrassed that i went and hid in the bathroom for 95% of it because i’d already known p much all of it (bc my friend at the time decided i was “too innocent” and decided to educate me against my will. the same friend who thought i was too innocent bc i never swore so she gave me swearing lessons at lunch time lol. thanks katie i can now never censor myself.). i still came out of the bathroom completely embarrassed, but at least that memory wasn’t burned into my mind. unlike the other sex ed class i had in year 8 putting condoms on bananas,,, that i was too shy and awkward to do myself so i just kind of sat there paralyzed and spacing out the whole time aha

oh ew i hate when fandom does that, taking two guy characters who clearly have a sibling-esque relationship and make it romantic. please. remove your shipping goggles, i assure you that you can find some good comforting fanfic without them.

oh ye dw i got that!! i’m always gonna prefer found family over ship fics a hundred times. the best written found family is still leagues better than the best written ship fic. and yes i agree!!! for me it’s bc the friend to lovers it’s easier to conceptualize as an aro than strangers to lovers. never ever going to understand the love at first sight trope under any circumstances.
