WAHHHHH WHAT A LOVELY CONCEPT ANON……. absolutely!!!!!! honestly i’m extremely weak for any kind of ceramist!sugu concept so . yknow. anything that has to do w pottery and suguru makes me a little insane…. he would absolutely be into kintsugi and his repaired pottery would be so gorgeous . he’s so talented i just know it.

the idea of like …. an older sugu. dilf!sugu. making bowls and repairing them once they break 😵‍💫😵‍💫 is just. so sexy to me i’m sorry </3 ON THAT NOTE . what if . suguru makes you a beautiful bowl for an anniversary or something….. and you use it like . every single time you eat. to the point that one day you inevitably stumble a little while carrying it…. and drop it :’3 you’re in tears by the time suguru strolls into the kitchen bc it broke and you feel guilty and clumsy and you’re just. sad. BUT sugu just pats you on the head and tells you not to worry bc he’ll fix it for you…. and he does…….

I feel like Henry is a talented man who probably could do ANYTHING with a little time but, everything he wants to do is just twisted & rotten and it's all for kicks. His mask is likely the best you've ever seen and you wouldn't have a clue till it was just way, way too late. You'd never catch someone alive saying something bad about Dr Henry Miller.

1/ HMMM that’s a good question ….. i was actually picturing it in a more westernized kingdom (blame my knight-infected brain for being eurocentric), but now that you mention it ….. it’d be kinda tasty if reader was a chinese emperor or something …….

i’ll have to think about that more hehe, but i don’t usually zero in on one particular era when i write my royalty pieces!!! :3 so i’m not too sure …… it’ll be pretty far back, but not super far.

2/ this fic takes place in a no curses au !! but it’s part of the lore (spoiler lol) that kenjaku has kinda been this kingdom’s tactician for …… a while. jumping from body to body. he’s essentially the true ruler. and i do think canon!kenjaku has probably been in that kind of role at least once 😭 so i guess it could technically serve as a background?? but i am picturing it as an au removed from canon, yes :3

and yes !!!! the secret relationship!!!!!! honestly i’m not entireeeely sure if it’ll be an established thing or not, but . kenjaku is a lot closer to their monarch than they probably should be. they have their own motives, but i do think they love you !!!! they don’t give their loyalty to just anyone, but you have it.

and i think they’re still each other’s go-to sparring partner to this day!! nothing more romantic than a friendly sword fight <33 patching each other up after <333 knight!sugu telling knight!reader to stop whining when he disinfects their cuts with a teasing smile, but his touch is gentle. so gentle they could fall asleep right there — and maybe they do… (suguru just sighs, mouthing a quiet what am i to do with you…? but he doesn’t wake them up. just carries them back to the castle with a small smile on his face.) HEAR ME OUT!!!!) reader is a bit too nice to people who don’t always deserve it, maybe struggles with saying no to people. SO… somehow, maybe you end up in a relationship with someone who stsg just immediately do not like. Probably someone who they simply just don’t think is right for you (only they are :3), or is toxic but in a very sneaky way. So that they can see it, but you can’t. And the whole reason reader would be dating this other person in the first place is not actually because they like them but just because they want to experience romance (maybe gaslighted themselves into thinking they DID actually like the person) because it’s not like you have two of the most caring and loyal best friends that are in love with you to help you experience romance, right???? RIGHT???? 🤨🤨🤨 and reader doesn’t seem to immediately recognise that what their “partner” is doing is unhealthy/understand how to set boundaries in place.
