WP, how do you spend your time nowadays?

@403-418 WP is a mostly normally functioning iterator, yes.

While the WP project was still in its planning phase it was decided by the ruling council of that time to bestow the honor of designing Winding Pathways in most of its entirety, structure and puppet, to an artist that had become extremely famous and influential. This was meant as a show of goodwill towards WPs future citizens, as there had been increasing complaints about the councils leadership. The Artist was well liked among the people, so they hoped it would make them feel more included and heard when it came to the new iterator project. The Artist being one of the top sponsors of the project certainly helped with that decision as well.

The Artist, in turn, took this as an opportunity to create her magnum opus. A (near) eternal monument that not even the cycle could change.

So, WP was built to be as labyrinthian as possible, to represent the struggle all life had to go through to escape the cycle and ascend, so the Artist claimed. How should an iterator find an answer if it could not experience the maze? The council couldn't really back out of the deal at that point, and the people seemed happy, so as long as the iterator still remained functional, they let it happen. There had been some major frustration among the construction crew, however.

WP is made up of hallways and chambers that change places and lead in nonsensical directions constantly, the lights are disorienting and it echoes in ways that makes you think someone else is calling to you from deeper in the structure. This doesn't really impact their ability to iterate. But sometimes some parts get lost, temporarily

don't apologize, my friend! i'm always more than happy to answer these! ❤️❤️❤️ (questions are from this post.) 13: what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

so the thing about this one… i don't actually know if i follow any "common" writing tips (or any at all, really); i just kinda do what feels natural to me and hope it all works out. i am absolutely not gonna tell anyone to do that because it's a recipe for chaos, but! i can give you tips that have become habits for me instead. so one thing that has helped me immensely when writing either a chapter or a one-shot is that i almost always start with the dialogue. it gives me a good structure for where everything is going and almost always serves as my outline. like, i have a general idea in mind for what i want to accomplish, but getting the dialogue down is kind of like coalescing some of those ideas into something tangible. so my entire WIP at that point will just be lines of dialogue in sequential order. then i write everything else around the dialogue. i know that's kind of a cracked way to do it and won't work for everyone, but i think the general takeaway is that you shouldn't be afraid to start a piece literally anywhere; you don't have to start with the opening sentence and end with the last sentence.

14: how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel? do you draw from personal experiences?

if i'm writing a scene that's similar to anything i've experienced in my personal life, i always draw from personal experiences as i feel like that makes the emotion more authentic. i do try to feel what the characters are feeling regardless of that; if i can get a sense for that, it makes finding the words to describe those emotions accurately. when i write those scenes i like to think about what each character is feeling, why they would be feeling like that, and what it is about their personality/backstory that would make them feel that way.

18: do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

titles are the bane of my existence. i hate them. i almost always title my fics after i'm done writing. many times i'll look to song lyrics because i find them helpful, but they can also convey the tone/general gist of the fic better than i can most of the time. i wish i was better at this, but alas. 😭

32: name three of your favorite fanfic writers.

ONLY three? 😭 i can and will gush about every single one of my moots all day long, so to make this easier on myself i'll pick three people based on my favorite thing(s) about their writing, kinda like separating them into genres or categories i guess? each of these people are incredible and amazing and i am very fortunate to have met them. go show them some love if you haven't read their work!

if you're looking for comedy, banter, and hijinks, look no further than @nerdallwritey. her series beauty and the bard is currently five parts long and has something for everyone! there's fluff, there's smut, and there's so much fun! her fics never fail to put a smile on my face and seeing a new fic in my inbox is like christmas morning to me. i adore the way she writes astarion, but everyone else always feels so genuine and perfectly in character as well. i've reread all her works several times and i cannot recommend them highly enough!

one of my favorite tavs belongs to @verbenaa; her longfic to eden is easily one of my favorites and one of the major sources of inspiration that got me to finish developing and writing for my own tav. if you're looking for incredible smut and a sassy, loveable tav, here you go! her prose are fantastic and the relationship she has between rin and astarion is such a treat to read. they play off one another so well! the last chapter really put me through the ringer in the best way and i cant' wait to see what else she has in store for us. she's also written some other one-shots and every single one of those i've read has been stunning!

one of my favorite all-rounder authors is @shewhowas39. her longfic juniper and starlight is a wonderful version of the game featuring her tav, June (who is an absolute delight and i love her very much). if you're looking for a wonderfully written durge fic you can really sink your teeth into, you've found it! there is always so much love and care and emotion in everything she writes, and it makes her work a true joy to read.

33: do you want to be published some day?

i think it would be fun! it's never something I've ever thought about actually doing, but i think having an actual book out there in the wild that i wrote would be really cool. who knows, maybe i'll have an idea for something some day.

54: what’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

hmm… this is tricky. for me, i really enjoy just getting an idea i'm excited about on the page and being able to share it with other people. i always feel accomplished when i finish a piece because it's very satisfying to create something from nothing; even if no one reads it, it's still exercising my creativity and engaging in a hobby i enjoy.

56: what’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

i'm not sure what parts of my writing are better than others, since i can only perceive it from my personal, limited perspective. however, as someone who came straight from academia and had never written fic until my first one-shot last august, trying to find my voice and seeing myself make genuine progress with that over the past year has been very rewarding! there are a few of my pieces that i really don't think hold up very well anymore, but knowing that i've improved since then is a good feeling. i always want to get better and hope i can keep doing that in the future!

58: what part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc.)

definitely the brainstorming. i love daydreaming and thinking about all the possible ideas i could have for chapters or one-shots. i love thinking about stupid little jokes i could add in, or emotional scenes that make me kick my feet like a teenage girl or do 50 psychic damage straight to my brain. plus, there's far less stress involved in that process, since i don't have to actually commit anything to paper at that point.

65: tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project.

i'm looking forward to getting over my current writer's block and finishing my kinktober prompts still! i'm very happy with 7/8 of the ones i've published so far, and even if the other 4 i was working on don't currently meet my standards, i'm confident i can come back and fix them up once i relax a bit and stop putting so much pressure on myself. i was having a ton of fun putting them together and i'm glad i participated this year.

77: do you have a favorite scene you’ve written from [Fanfic Name] story/chapter?

since you didn't specify a fic, i'll just write about something from my longfic, adrift~ i'm quite partial to the lake scene i wrote for chapter 6, when ysera finally gives in and opens herself up to astarion. on the one hand, it's a sweet moment of vulnerability for her, but also tragic in the sense that it's the moment she started to fall for astarion who is at this point very much still fully intent on using her for his own means. there's just a lot going on there for both of them and i enjoyed torturing myself while putting it al together.

Nari Ask Game

14. Is he based on any particular breed of cat such as a puma or a British shorthair?

My Narinder is an amalgamation of different things. I took a lot of inspiration from servals and a domestic medium hair. So he’s got the comically large ears of a serval and his fur grows to about a medium length.

He has shorter fur near the beginning of his induction into the cult because he lost a lot during his time chained. So it takes a while for new and healthy fur to grow in!

23. Are the kits, Aym and Baal, really his children?

Ooh, I love talking about these two and Narinder. I might rant a bit, be warned lol.

They are not biologically his kittens. However, Aym and Baal are his sons in every other sense of the word. He raised them since they were only a few months old. The paternal instinct is strong with this one.

Narinder in my story is very much like his game counterpart in regards to the twins. He cares very deeply for them but continues to keep them at arms length in hopes they’ll grow to become strong and independent. When they’re resurrected, my Narinder rejects them so they will spend their newfound life and freedom apart from him. He sees his presence as their own set of chains. He does not want his existence to bind them anywhere so they can grow and develop as something more than his divine guardians. It hurts him to let them go but of course, he never outwardly shows this.

Although he may not admit it aloud, those are his sons. To him, they will always be his sons. And even though he never says the words, Aym and Baal know how much he loves them, even if they took his initial rejection to heart(which who wouldn’t). I actually have a small ficlet of their dynamic after they reunite with Forneus and travel the world. If people are interested, I’ll likely share it!

34. Who's most likely to tell a dirty joke or story to make the other blush?

Between Bombita and Victor, it would be based on setting and time!

Bombita is more of the type to slip a dirty joke here and there in a middle of a late night conversation between the two, when they're out on the road doing a job, or when she's caught up at the bar in the Atomic Wrangler (or any bar really!! lolz). She really just finds joy in seeing how he'll react, either his voice would crack, his screen would glitch just for a second, or even his cowboy display suddenly turning bashful even for a moment! Though she cant take what she dishes out.

When its Victor telling dirty jokes or making suggestive comments, he's the type to do it in private as he sees that as polite, but he'll probably slip them in when she least expect it just to see how she'll react. Though she tries to hide it, sometimes her efforts aren't even worth it. Often pushing herself away from him if she was held close during the conversation, hiding her face in her hat, or saying excuses such as "I'm in my clown makeup, you cant speak dirty to a clown!" or "Not now! I have a lot of things to explain to people and this conversation isn't one of them!" (or whatever dumb excuse she can come up at the time)

When it comes to stories..there is only ONE story that gets referenced between the two, and it mainly one that Victor references to tease her just to see her act out and try to shush him.

45. Can they fall asleep without the other?

For Victor its a bit easier for him to do so. As long as he knows that she's somehwere safe and or they're not in a dangrous location, hes comfotable shutting down for a bit he pefers if shes close in some sort of way.

For Bombita at first she could easily fall asleep by herself and still can from time to time. But if they happened to be close such as traveling together or back at the lucky-38, she 100% would pefer to sleep either on him or in his arms. its just a habbit hard to break when you're used the white noise of the inner working system of a securitron!

8. What is one sweet gesture they’ve done for each other on a regular basis?

Davrin often helps Tamryn detangle and brush his hair at the end of a long day (also because he will forget to do it himself and wake up with hair even more tangled). In return, Tamryn often helps him clean his shield. He offered to help Davrin brush his hair once, who just looked at him with a ‘you’re not coming anywhere near it with that brush’ face.

10. If they were picking up something special for their partner in a market, what would it be? What would their partner get them?

Tamryn would get Davrin any etchings or pencil drawings he can find of monsters and interesting animals. Davrin would definitely get Tamryn sweets! Chocolate or pastries. Things that are not easy to find on the road or in the lighthouse.

19. Is there a task they do not trust their partner to do? Why?

Uhh they’re both not very good a cooking. They can get by with some basic recipes, but they don’t trust each other with more complicated things. And as mentioned before, Davrin doesn’t trust Tamryn to take care of his hair. Not until he has properly taught Tamryn how to do it.

23 - Best writing advice for other writers:

The quickest, easiest piece of advice I can give to writers of a broad range of experience levels is: read your work aloud to yourself before publishing it. You'll find a lot of errors AND it will help you a TON with getting the dialogue to sound natural.

A slightly more advanced piece: most writers only think about themselves when they write the first draft. That's good and appropriate and proper, that's what a first draft is for. But the difference between an ok writer and a good one is that in the second draft, you begin to think about things like the reader experience, what pleasure and pain you want the reader to experience, and how you want to accomplish this. This is the difference between writing for yourself and writing for others and it's one of the most ignored parts of the writing process by beginners.

54 - Favorite part of the fanfic writing process

LOL probably getting the initial idea before all the work starts ;P But also, writing a section you thought you already knew well only to discover cool new stuff you never would have daydreamed about. Sometimes it takes actually writing the scene to find all the hidden fun parts.

I really, REALLY want to finish by Distinguished Innovators sequel but I have to re-write the beginning basically entirely. It's going to be so fun once I get around to it but with the holidays I am SO bogged down in distractions, it's driving me insane!

Somewhat. Ilya learned how to stifle much of himself to please his former master, Raamil, who took over Ilya's training when his first master died. Raamil quite frankly hated most of what made Ilya himself: his curious nature, his questioning, his eagerness to try new things and try them his own way. Also that Ilya had a smart mouth and an animated face.

The smallest thing would set Raamil off, resulting in many-hours-long sessions of loud beratement. Ilya was arrogant, Ilya was disrespectful, Ilya was ungrateful, and so on. Many nights of sleep were lost; many tired mistakes were made. Over time Ilya learned how to keep his mouth shut and wear a neutral mask. Raamil didn't need him to pretend to be happy. He just needed him to be deferential - and to shut up.

For years Ilya gave Raamil most of what he wanted, hating himself and generally regarding his master as a weird idiot. It would be a long time and a tragedy later before Ilya would recognize how cunning and manipulative Raamil really was.

Solis was MADE for this question. As the pureblooded only child of an affluent Garlean couple, Solis spent his young life eating that fascist propaganda up. He believed that Garlemald had much to offer the world. He believed that non-Garleans couldn't be trusted with the delicate aetherial balance, and especially believed that magic is to be feared.

He lived his blessed, smug young life gliding through school before he joined the Imperial military and was stationed in Doma. There, his rose-colored glasses were broken. This was an occupation. This was torture of civilians, of women and children and the elderly, and no amount of blowing the whistle made it stop.

After the violent night of his defection, Solis wound up in Eorzea. He struggles to sort through all he was taught, to not resent the curses laid on his homeland by the Eorzeans, but he works at himself - at thinking past his initial reactions, at facing the truth and deconstructing his own paradigms. It's hard and bitter. He misses home, misses his parents, but he has a new life and is determined to do it right.

i would love to learn more about the “soulmate” part of Project Soulmate. are these people who choose each other or does it feel like fate chooses for them? does everyone have many potential soulmates or is there just one? is it always romantic or could the most important relationship in one of your characters’ lives be a family member or a friend? how do people know if a person is their soulmate?

I'll try to explain a bit without going into spoilers :) So at the beginning of the story we find out that there are gods who kinda weave human fate and point to a person who is a soulmate but to find out who that is you need to work with matchmakers who will read that fate for you. "Reading" requires time and certain skills (it's a mix of magic, intuition, psychology, science, potion making, art). Usually there are three people involved in this process (and I explain how their work looks like throughout the story). The concept of soulmates is a romantic one in this world (so no family). And it's one person which doesn't mean you can't have a relationship with not a soulmate or more than one person if you'd like. Also, not everyone chooses to look for their soulmate and not everyone can afford it. Surprisingly, not every matchmaker is a good one. Generally it's not a simple "here's your soulmate" thing because I wanted to show all the nuances of relationships, the issue of destiny and human choice, societal expectations and so on. So it's not a straightforward concept. Anyway, hope it clears some stuff :)

I'm just having the time of my life :'D I won’t say too much for those who wait for the chapters on the EN server but oh boy, how I’VE CRIED since then! Lilia’s part was heartbreaking. Lilia IS heartbreaking. It was really hard for me to read again the first chapters on the EN server knowing all what is coming for him ; ; To know that Lilia was one of the least characters I’m invested in at the beginning and he surely became one of my top fav. This game is insane. Omg and tomorrow is the next chapter! I’m so excited! o(≧▽≦)o I can’t wait to have the Savana chapter with its SSR of a new Dreamversion! I wish for Leona of course (I hate you.) but he already got too much SSR. Jack is a more suitable candidate for a new SSR but I really don’t know what his dream could be…

Otherwise, I like the book 5. Despite the ending. Even if I may understand why, it still feels bitter to me. But I like the pace and the development of Epel’s character. And also I’m a twistunes addict :’)

Book 6 has great scenes and character interactions but that fucking Tartarus…. URH. Too long. Really too long…

Hmm 🤔 it’s been a while since I wrote it but I don’t think she directly cheated on Armin! If I remember correctly, Eren kissed her by surprise so that doesn’t count, BUT she did leave Armin for Eren, and that broke Armin’s heart!

Ever since you mentioned that you do darker art besides stardew I've been super curious! Is there anywhere we can follow your work?

NOPE! this is more or less the first time I had much of a social media presence, I did make an Instagram when I was around 12 but I lost the password to it, and honestly... It's best I never find it...BUT I would like to post my other art somewhere! Let me know what social media I should use If you have ideas and I'll go make one! :D

I could use Instagram again but I haven't heard too many great things since I left.

What’s your favorite thing about Stardew? Do you have any other games you’d like to make comics about?

I love the fishing and mining aspect of the game! that and the mini-games. You'd think it be the socializing aspect with what I make but there's just something satisfying about making progress in the mines or getting that impossible to catch fish.

I don't usually have a lot of money to spend on games so I tend to go indie but I also never expected to be making art about Stardew so not really. If I like the characters, I might make comics about them but this is the first time I've done comics about games ever so maybe in the future.

Who is your least favorite bachelor and bachelorette

This was a really hard question to answer, I don't have a least favorite bachelor or bachelorette, I just have favorites. The main reason why is because I've either met people who are like the bachelor's or I can relate to them on a personal level so it's hard for me to dislike anyone BUT THATS A COP OUT ANSWER so I really pushed myself to find something to not like.

I'm gonna get torched but Elliot- gifts are super expensive to get, I know I can just give neural gifts but it's a bad habit of mine of going for the loved gifts and my guys got EXPENSIVE tastes or gifts that aren't easy to get BUT It fits his character as it implies he came from a more luxurious lifestyle. (if the Victorian clothing wasn't a big enough hint) but again, I don't dislike him, he has a lot of comedic potential!

I'm gonna get MURDERD for this one, Leah- I CAN NEVER FIND HER. Her pathing and my pathing NEVER collide and I keep forgetting she goes to the beach to draw sometimes so I never go there and I go to the wiki to find where in the WORLD she is at and 99% of the time is in the cortege but I can't get to her because I don't have 2 hearts yet because I don't run into her unless I remember to look in the saloon IF shes there BUT again, I do not dislike her...I dislike her pathing and that's on me for not thinking ahead. Plus this problem goes away once I DO have 2 hearts.

Whats your favorite crop and who’s your favorite bachelorette?

Coffee! (gee what a surprise 😅) I just love it when I can get one seed, grow it, and then harvest it and multiply my coffee crops by a huge amount! It's not worth much but it's just a satisfying crop to have.

Maru- not exactly a popular pic but I had a lot of friends who were 10X smarter than me growing up so Maru just naturally reminds me a lot of my closest friends, THAT and she's easy for me to bump into in the clinic.

I use Krita, and couldn't recommend it more! (scroll down more to the archive and there are more details about it)

and a UGEE tablet BUT I got it as a free gift. So far I haven't had to replace it yet and has lasted a good amount of time (my old ones lasted a year until I had to replace it) so Idk if I can recommend it and it's kinda expensive. (for me anyway) I'm honestly dreading the day something happens to it and I have to get it replaced :(

As someone who is long-time fan of Mlp EG and who has just finished watching TFP, your fic is true delight. I read it 5 times at least and it is still awesome. You perfectly matched girls with their autobots partners just as well as you did with decepticons as their evil counterpart. For example Twilight/Shockwave - both have high inteligence, but while one uses it for greater good and to help the others, the other abuses it to gain power and hurt the others; Fluttershy/Soundwave - even thought they are both animal lovers and quiet types, FS is just very shy girl while SW is calculating sadist; Rainbow/Starscream - Apart from being queer icons (If you can look at these two without the word gay constantly entering your mind, congrats, you´re legit cishet) they´re actually pretty similliar in function and personallity wise. They´re both eccentric, aroggant showoffs and are also fastest on their team. But it´s their differences that are making them great foils. RD is impaitent hothead, who jumps straight into action without the second thought, while SC is great schemer, who has his plans planed out. RD is literally element of loyalty, while SC is mostly loyal to himself and etc. I can´t wait to see all their interactions in the future. If you´re interested in some writting advice, there is one minor thing that can be fixed : your description of characters feelings and thought. You start explaining how and why they feel that way instead of giving readers benefit of the doubt. The best term I can think of is that you are describing a picture. Like you want us to see, hear and understand everything at once. It creates unnecessary sentences or whole paragraphs without which some emotional moments would have sounded better. For example if paragraph in Ch.2 with sentence "She was too stuborn." it would have sounded so much better. Or sentences like "She was too precious." are also kind of waste of space since they don´t tell anything new.It´s not worst type of description,but it can create a feeling that you don´t trust youre readers to read from emotions characters alone. Many new writers and comic artists are often doing this. It can be solved 2 ways : by improving their writing or start drawing comics. I´m sorry if I confussed you in some way. I tried my best to explain it, but english is not my primary language. If you don´t mind, I would recommend fics from @whatwooshkai to see what I am talking about ( it´s mostly TF shipping stuff, but man, the writting is so good that I can´t stop reading even if I wanted to). Overall great story and art, just writting needs a little improvment.

I want to finish this already long post with few questions:

1.What is group dynamic with eachother? I mean in and outside of their decided pairings. I can see Sideswipe and Rainbow´s relationship as chaos siblings and that Rainbow is definitely driving Ratchet insane, but what about the others? I´m courious to know.

2.Did you already started writting the next book? If not, do you have planned when you will start?

3.Do you consider draw this as a full time comic or at least draw some parts of it? Or drawing some strips of your incorrect quotes?It´s just that you´re artstyle is so pretty and redesigns of the autobots and girls are great. It´s shame to see so little of them.

4. Did you thought about getting your comics dubbed on youtube?

5. Do you draw ideas from the asks from your followers on Tambrlane or you take commissions only? Like if they had a idea for a comic/sketch and they post it to you, would you draw it? If not, could they draw it with your redesignes?

Now, to answer your questions:

1. You are absolutely correct about Sideswipe and Rainbow’s relationship, in my opinion, they will be the best chaos siblings (I am 100% sure that most of the members will go insane because of their pranks) I could write more detailed headcanons for them and the others too.

2. The next book is nearly finished, I will make sure to post it at the beginning of January.

3. I will drop more art soon, promise! Sorry for the lack of content, I’ve been pretty busy for the past few months. But now I’m finally free and I will certainly start drawing again! I also have several ideas in mind for some parts of the next book.

4. I don’t mind my comics being dubbed as long as I’m credited and they’ve asked for permission.

5. Again, if I’m credited and asked for permission, there will be no problem for other artists to draw my redesigns. I don’t usually take requests and it really depends on my free time and motivation, but if I really like the idea that has been suggested, I would (probably) draw it.

6. Good guess! But actually no. I was really into this crossover way before Hasbro decided to make a comic of it. I’ve been into a lot of fandoms and reading crossover fanfics basically became like a hobby to me. I got a lot of inspiration after I accidentally stumbled upon some pretty good written Tf/Mlp fics, but it took me a lot of time to finally get enough courage and start writing my own. I’m more than thankful for the support and love that I was given through the years! It really motivated me to keep on going!

8. Do you wear gear? If so, what kind?

I have talked about this before here (answer to the ninth question) and, just yesterday, here. Short answer so there's no need to go through all that: I currently don't. :/

11. Strangest thing you do to affirm your kintypes?

This one might be considered strange because of how awkward people make it to talk about feet, and I'm not even sure whether it counts as a method of affirmation or not, but here I go possibly embarrassing myself, as always.

Until recently, I had this habit of trimming my foot hair (had to type this out again several times because of how my brain wants to say “hair foot” [insert a Harfoot joke]), which is or was a normal thing to do amongst Hobbits, considering our furry feet, even though not everyone necessarily did that. I also went through a short period in this life cutting the hair around my ankles, but it felt like too much work. Again, we used to do that too.

No one in this life ever told me to do either of those (I have no memory of if leg shaving was ever suggested to me, regardless, never felt like it, never done it), it was just a habit I picked up (again) when I (re)started taking care of my own nails. I guess it feels affirming to know I naturally picked up an old habit, but when I figured out here that I am a Hobbit, I stopped doing that because my feet aren't furry at all, so I'll take whatever I get. Waiting to see if testosterone will do anything about it.

What I mean is: what I did before might have been a form of affirming an old habit, what I do now is an attempt at affirming something external.

14. Funniest way you found out a kintype?

No funny Awakenings for me. No matter if past life, flickertype, or straight up wrong assumptions, finding out things related to my alterhumanity has never had any comical aspect related to it. Not to say that it's all been “blood, sweat, and tears” and “woe is me”, I have fun with my experiences, it's just that humorous things haven't happened to me during the process of discovery.

18. Does being alterhuman affect your gender?

I am afraid that my answer will be once more very uninteresting, since when it comes to gender, I am just a regular binary man. Here, I've started questioning my gender three years before my Awakening, and had it all as figured out as I can one or two years after it. By that time, I had only experienced human flickertypes, and even now, getting to reexplore my relationship with my subspecies or race, I still just feel like some guy, some Hobbit guy. If my alterhumanity has any effect on my gender, it seems to be only in the sense of keeping me as a (Hobbit) man because that's what I was before.
