Hi Harley! <33 So many questions AHH, thank you! let me untangle it all. 💓 What all do you have planned for the future? Keep my apartment clean daily, get a job, cook more Okay so fic-wise I have: TK turning 30 fic. Hopefully will finish this before the episode but it's not a spec fic so it might be later. Werewolf fic: Hoping to drop this in January if it's finished by then. Two werewolves falling in love. That's all the plot I'm willing to divulge rn. Let Me part 9 - My BDSM blended in canon and mostly about emotional turmoil fic series. Been kind of losing the momentum with this series but whenever it catches me it possesses me fully so I doubt that was the end of it Fantasy Fic - Not to mix up with werewolf fic. That one is about an elemental Carlos and a healer TK on a mission to find and kill a demon. It's 40k already and has a LOT going on but what's new? But it's the plot-heaviest of them all which is likely why it's on the backburner 2AM - Part 2. This part will be from Carlos' perspective on TK having an eating disorder. I haven't written much for it yet but I have ideas. Agent AU - this will likely never be finished because I have zero idea about agent movie franchises lol but it is a fun idea in theory to have TK be the secret agent and Carlos be the voice in his ear that freaks out when he's in danger and then he has to step in too ;) Is there a favorite WIP that you have? Currently werewolf fic. Turns out when you focus on one fic at a time, it makes it easier to focus. WHO KNEW? No but it's also a lot of fun to write and has the right amount of plot to feels for me rn. Are there any ideas that you haven't fully developed that you'd like to share? ohhhh this has to be talk about the weather!!! gorgeous dynamics like the author just gets these characters i loved it sm. theres humor, theres bickering, and oh so many feelings. i remember feeling so thrilled and invested couldnt put it down.

okay I'll give you three for this actually.

1. pray for us, Icarus - fandom classic. made me cry my eyes out like i was bawling skjfkjhk (love it sm)

2. baskets are bad omens - this one caught me so off-guard like i was WEEPINGGGG through most of it. loved the ocs and the whole story. read it half a year ago but I still remember feeling so many things. shit its so good. if you havent read it please do!!!!

3. every damn day - read this just a few days ago and omg when I tell you i SOBBED jsfhlshl like im so serious i legit cried like 10 times. its so so good!!! love me some earth shattering levels of angst. y'know when you get so immersed in the world that you start feeling all of their feelings?? it's just one of those fics ahh

apologies in advance if this is kind of incoherent, The Brain Fog makes it hard for me to write ;;

ANYWAY. i think despite their differences they get along really well, like, they're always down to shoot the shit or have a beer together. two-bit makes darry laugh and darry is someone two-bit can actually be serious with, who won't mock him. they also just like spending time together even when they're not doing much.

two shows up at darry's work sometimes, usually at the end of a day or on lunch, with a beer or a joint. (dar doesn't like to drink while he works, but he'll have it as soon as his shift ends)

two really likes fantasy and sci fi, and they'll take turns reading books together. two has surprisingly astute commentary on what they're reading and darry always likes hearing his thoughts.

two is very casually bisexual, he was always attracted to girls and guys in equal measure and never thought anything of it. he realized he was attracted to darry during a party out in the woods around a bonfire - dar wasn't doing anything special, and two was completely wasted, but he looked at darry who's muscles were flickering in the firelight and thought, oh shit he's hot.

darry is queer and has always been pretty cautious about it. he realized he had feelings for two during one of their late-night heart-to-hearts when two was opening up about something personal and darry was like, oh fuck i want to make things good for him.

tbh i see their actual relationship as pretty... laid-back? not very angsty? like they're just. together. and they work well together and will be together for a long time. (also lbr, two is already sort of a parent-figure to ponyboy)

for my OC Roxanne, i keep an unofficial mental list of my friends OCs that she *cannot* meet, because she would either make them worse, or they would make each other worse. she is incredibly difficult for me to summarize cuz shes lived in my head so so long.

shapeshifter raised in a lovely community, got isolated from that community as a young adult. shit happened, she murdered someone she loved to survive bc he wouldve killed her (in a ritual sacrifice, to be specific). and when she walked away from his corpse, she was a new person, a new face - Roxanne - leaving behind her old face and name.

she forges a new life for herself. reconnects with her community after a while. but she has so firmly shut herself out of her own mind. she knows what to say and who to be to get what she needs, she neglects to consider where those needs come from and what they are.

also, she's a bard! and while she is a musician, most of her magical ability comes from storytelling, not music. a lie, a weave of words, a turn of phrase - reaching out and seizing the narration she occupies.

this all to say - of your characters, i think at *least* wolfgang would go on the list of, "these two cannot meet they would make each other worse." so, naturally, they should meet i think it would be great

i absolutely see what you mean and it's funny to think - if they were able to sit down and both let like five layers of their guard down, they would find out they have a lot in common. shared elements like starting over with a new name, reconnecting with their community after traumatic events.

but knowing Wolf they would not be able to just let someone know them like that so i could see the two of them circling each other like two cats, trying to figure the other one out while also playing a game of out-manipulating each other and being surprised when they hit walls other people don't have. but maybe also beginning to appreciate the other's skill?

i feel like it would inevitably end with them both entangled in some dangerous scheme while trying to prove something to each other <3

whats your favorite papa/regis headcanon 👀

ouughhh i have soo many ummm can I give you a top 5

Regis has a bump on his jaw where it got broken once and never healed right years and years ago and back then Papa made him soups and broths and food that was easy for Regis to eat without moving his mouth too much and basically nursed him back to health and that was when Regis really started to fall for him and wanted Papa gently tending to his wounds to last forever

Papa always specialised in oral storytelling but didn't learn to read until Regis taught him a little while after Papa's son was born. They would spend sleepy evenings together watching the baby and going over spellings (and papa trying very hard not to raise his voice because he's annoyed about the written English language because Sun JUST fell asleep)

They never had any kind of official "wedding" because the Khan's didn't really come up with that until later and Papa doesn't think he can officiate himself, but they are the Khan's equivalent of "married" maybe there's a blood pack involved or something, I haven't decided

Regis isn't very good with sweet words or mushy sentiments and whenever Papa hits him with something very eloquent and gay he just goes bright red. Regis likes to lean on Papa because he's sturdy and the perfect height for Regis to rest his elbow on Papa's shoulder

If there's no guest visiting the Khans and its just Papa and Regis on the head table they're like awful little school children they whisper to each other and giggle and steal food off each others plates and poke each other under the table and the rest of the Khans are just like "we love our gay dads but they do this shit every day"

tbh I did struggle with finding Takashi's suit...honestly I think he would wear somewhat of a cross between these two suits from official art

Essentially the second outfit with some of the floral accents of the first... (I love both of these sm I am abnormal about him in any outfit 😔)

i don't rlly post about gonta that much for fear that i will get 0 attention whatsoever but um. i love how he is adorable but also undoubtably one of the most terrifying presences in danganronpa v3. it's like how jonathan joestar is kind, sweet, one of the most unreasonbaly goodhearted jojo there ever was, but he's also able and willing to beat the shit out of you if you do bad shit

HE REALLY IS THE BEST YEAH.. Gonta is so kind and sweet and cares a lot about others and wants to be seen as polite and gentle but WILL overcome his personal desires of being a gentleman if it means he can protect the people he cares about. He's so so cool I love him so much

LOL. It doesn't happen with every story, since I think it's a result of uniquely expansive character arcs and a 'verse so impactful on my psyche I'm bound to analyze it six ways to Sunday...... which is not THAT easy to find LOL. That said.

TED LASSO

This one could easily change because I really only have strong-ish attachment to the first 2-3 on the list tbh.

Rebecca. How could she not? She's the fucking shit. AND she's unbelievably hot.

Keeley. I ADORE everything she is.

Ted. His backstory regarding his father is eerily similar to that of one of my oldest, best-beloved OCs. Once I made that connection, it was downhill from there.

Roy. He and I are kindred spirits xDD

Sam. He's just a sweetheart with really good leading instincts once he's in a better place to grow. I have a soft spot for that stuff.

Least favourite: I mean, on the one hand, you have Rupert, who's THE WORST lol. But... yeah, yeah, Nate is on the path to redemption, and he's definitely suffered a whole deal, etc. etc. He just happens to act in a way I can't help but find abhorrent in people so.... he's on thin ice LOL. Rupert wins but he deserves the mention.

(the fact that season 3 has been out for a week and I've already seen two posts that tried to downplay his misogynistic/incel tendencies doesn't help tbh)

BLACK SAILS

This one is tricky. I do plan to do a proper rewatch (and then a stackedsails rewatch for 2025 :DDD), which will clarify things. There's no version of events where Max and Silver wouldn't be my numbers 1 and 2, respectively. It's afterwards that it gets trickier.

I've offhandedly mentioned this before but, at least with certain stories (those where I'm here to appreciate the entirety of the story, basically), the impact of a character's arc ends up weighing more than any feeling of affection that I might feel for the person they embody, if that makes sense.

I'd say Flint is the most likely candidate for number 3. The other two slots... characters like Madi or Mr. Scott are still on the running (mix of both appreciation of their impact and their rarity as characters, and admiration for their personalities); but others like Vane, Eleanor or Billy have prominent, incredibly satisfying individual arcs more in consistent dialogue with the story's themes that could give them an edge.

For least favourite: yes, antagonists like Ashe or Rogers are obviously awful (the latter is at least really interesting for me; the former is just a spineless worm). But man. The way this fandom overrates Thomas is just something else xD

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

Caroline. NUMBER ONE IN MY HEART, 5EVER, ETC. ETC. u know the deal.

Bonnie. I love her, I admire her, I understand her. And she's beautiful and I'm not made of stone.

Curveball ahead but: Elena. She's been promoted to #my schrödinger fave LOL. My opinion of her as a person hasn't changed xD, but she awakens my imagination and my love for narrative analysis like very few characters do.

Are they simply citizens, responsible for their own impact and no one else's, or are they guardians, responsible for monitoring the effect of everything? Listen, Helvi never expected to bear responsibility for the whole world. Not because she didn't love the world and its people - on the contrary! - but because she didn't consider herself that strong or unusual or important. It all felt too big. She became an adventurer so she could travel and... do all these side quests, run errands and help people, listening to their troubles, making their lives a little easier and making the world a little better bit by bit, within her capability.

And then it turned out this capability was bigger than she'd thought.

She started experiencing the Echo and hearing Hydaelyn when she was lost and confused, trying to regain her missing memories - and she thought, 'what if there's a reason for it I can't remember? what if I used to be more than I can remember?'? So she went to the Scions in hope for answers, but the next moment she was battling primals and imperials and treated like a hero - and she felt very out of place there.

But she tried her best to met everyone's expectations and find her own reasons to keep fighting. Smaller, more personal reasons - and that was her loved ones. So she fought for the three main city-states for the sake of her family and old friends from her old life. She fought for Ishgard for the sake of Haurchefant and his family and all the new friends she made there. She fought for Doma for the sake of Yugiri and Gosetsu and regular people like Isse and his sister. She fought for Ala Mhigo for the sake of Lyse, Rhun and the memory of Minfilia. And then she fought for the First for the sake of both her friends trapped there and their friends as well.

Then Endwalker came and she did not have to carry this burden alone anymore. It never felt right to be a hero, but it feels right to be one of the heroes in a world where anyone can be one, on their own terms. And it makes her love the world even more.

And then Arianna. Arianna never wanted to be anything more than a Thanalan Tiny and an Immortal Flame, and maybe low-key hobbyist crocheter. But then she gained another purpose, which was glaring from over Helvi's shoulder at people who were trying to use Helvi for their own goals (or so Arianna saw it).

And you know what is said about the Warrior of Light inspiring people, right? Well, Arianna sure was inspired, even if she wasn't aware of that.

And so she went from glaring at Yvain, calling his guild out on its bigotry, to becoming the new Azure Dragoon*. From fighting Garleans at Carteneau to travelling the Empire with a bunch of porxies. From pointing out Alphinaud's mistakes to loving both twins fiercely. From a technophobe to the Ironworks test pilot. From a regular soldier to a Flame Spymaster in making. From an atoning ex-bandit to a defender. From an outcast to a hero on her own terms.

And she feels... relatively fine with where she is now.

tl; dr - it's been a long way for them, but in the end, they've accepted the place they're in.

*I'm pretty sure Yvain sent her to Alberic just so she could go glare at someone else for a change.

2. What is their class (+ subclass) and why did you choose it?

Dread is mostly Shadow Monk with a level or two of cleric thrown in there, because I keep writing her having some magic. Post-tadpole, she loses those cleric levels.

I started conceptualizing Dread a lot around my disappointments with how the Durge storyline handled its female characters, and so I knew I wanted a Durge who could be brutally angry. Punching with your bare hands seems like the best and purest expression of rage.

19. What's your Tav's personality like at the start of the game? Does it change as the game goes on?

Dread’s most comfortable with a stoic, unemotional mask on, so I think she leans on that heavily at first. But as things progress, without the knowledge and expectation of who she was, she’s actually able to let herself feel things without being afraid for one of the first times in her life.

91. Does your Tav get a happily ever after?

Realistically, there’s no way any ending for her would fully constitute happy in any sense. But she gets revenge on Sarevok and Bhaal, and that’s what matters most to her.
