Marcella wishes the words meant anything that they filled her fragile heart with dread but at the end of the day telling a sinking boat that it will be sunk isn't a grand revelation.

And still the captain insist it will sail, it will survive, he clings desperately on to the mast heedles of the fact that when it sinks he will drown too
