Ayyeee fellow ravenclaw!! And LMAOOO the howler part sent me. If we’re gonna think of worst case scenarios, I’d even prefer to get hit by a bludger than to interact with that man, because I know that at least I’ll pass out quicker from that ball than from hearing the howler my parents would send me (tho I would simply pass away if everyone in the Great Hall heard my parent’s yelling...and I just know if my mom could throw a chancla at my head via that letter she would do that, too).

(Also I’m gonna skip Nanamin for a bit to go straight to Hanami before I spend the rest of this post talking about Nanami also why are their names so similar rngkakkskgkg)

Yes I live for the amortentia trope so much!! I even think one of the first hp fics that I read heavily focused on it and younger me couldn’t stop reading fics that featured amortentia😭but lolll yeah, I can just imagine reader returning to her seat and a clueless Nanami is like “freshly baked bread is always a lovely scent” and reader gives a stiff nod as she’s trying not to combust there on the spot. Shoko and Haibara are behind them stifling their laughter and you bet Shoko later told Gojo and Geto what happened and they got a hoot out of that one

Omg my mind has been thinking nonstop about this au so I think I might write a few drabbles about it. Ravenclaw!Nanami DOES hit different! Like,

You easily get distracted during Potions because he’s next to you and he looks so cute with a furrowed brow, focused on stirring correctly. Once you added the wrong ingredient to your potion because you were too busy trying to look cool and calm, and with your luck, the concoction exploded and almost singed off your eyebrows and hair (Snape took 10 points from Ravenclaw)

Nanami rarely sees Quidditch games because he’d rather be reading in the common room or getting ahead on his assignments. Yet Shoko and Haibara manage to convince him to attend one so he can see you play. Unfortunately, this is the same game in which your arm is broken after a first year Gryffindor named Yuji batted a bludger at you. However, you can’t stay too mad, considering that Yuji is a cute ball of sunshine who profusely apologizes, and if it weren’t for this incident Nanami wouldn’t have stopped by the Hospital Wing to give you some bread (Madam Pomfrey lets it slide this time before she promptly kicks him out).

Haibara trying so hard to be a wingman but failing every. Single. Time. Literally the only thing that works is setting up group study sessions and everyone trickles out until you and Nanami are the only ones left. But nothing ever happens!!1!1!1 at least you do amazing on the OWLs and NEWTs but you get a T on your love life💀

When you’re made prefects your fifth year, Nanami proposes the idea of having monthly meetings to go over any duties/tasks. You once got excited by this but instantly deflated when you realized he actually wanted to go over such responsibilities.

Jfkskskfkg I’ll stop bc I’m just rambling way too much now but the mutual pining! I can talk about this for days oops. I will definitely be writing for Ravenclaw!Nanami thank you anon for getting my brain cogs to start working😌
