Some Jeremy info that no one asked for

Jeremy does chill with some animals, that being Brahmin, Big Horners, Cats, Dogs and other birds. Cats are the only animals that he will get away from if they swat at him. He will nip at Dogs, Brahmin and Big Horners but won't fully attack.

He will also chill with the heavily mutated animals if they don't bother him first, the only animal he has bias towards are Molerats due to his rivalry history. RIP any Molerat pets Fallout ocs have, but it is on sight with them.

How Jeremy has been sustaining himself in the waste is by eating Bloatflies and Radroaches, along with any grain or grass that he might have the luck to come across, else he steals food straight from settlers/wastelanders hands.

Jeremy can fly, he just chooses not too unless to get away or attack people who are high up on buildings. No one is safe

He can't open doors, unless they have the long handle he can pull at.

He killed Tenpenny and can be found on the balcony of the Tower at times, the guards and Burke are too scared to get rid of him.

Anyone has a good chance at patting or holding Jeremy, as long as there is no ill intent or rude comments. The bird, like any animal, can just be unpredictable.

He will harass the Children of Atom in Megaton as he has claimed the irradiated water as his, take bets with Moriarty to see who will win.

He has attacked Moriarty when the dumbass tried to give him a congratulations pat after kicking Confessor Cromwell's ass.

Random moment of blabber about my dumb dating sim idea cos for some reason all this fandom for New Spoiler Thing has got me more hyped up to work on my totally unrelated original stories? I guess it just always inspires me to see how toby fox achoeved his dreams and i wanna fight for my dreams too! Tho also on the other hand its a lil discouragibg cos i know this is the Big News so this would be a bad time to post a bunch of stuff about like..anything else. So maybe still try and practise drawing my stuffs but save it til next week to post them?

Anyway! About the game!

I just had a bit of a good moment of wrangling my way through a block in the story. Kind of a minor thing but i was having problems because..i like monster boys...? Like here is a dating sim about a monster boy who is sad about being a monster boy but of course since i am the oc creator who made him in the first place of course i think he's cute and perfect. So my first draft just has the love interest accepting him immediately and like all his paranoia about being rejected was completely unfounded. And i feel like maybe thats a wasted opportunity? Like would it actually decrease the catharsis of the moment if it felt like it was saying "you were dumb for worrying, dude"?? So now i'm just thinking what if the love interest actually IS scared of monster-bae, and also didny just like.. Guess it long before he confessed it, so everything just gets wrapped up super perfectly with minimal angst. Maybe instead he just knew that his friend was hiding SOME sort of secret, and kinda.. Guessed correctly on all the relevant effects of this secret but not what it actually is? "Oh god he's looking so sick and he keeps acting like he's gonna go away forever, fuck i need to save up to find a doctor holy shit" when no actually he's just a vampire and he's been planning to like.. Literally leave. Because he thinks he doesnt deserve happiness or belong amoung normal humans. And then there could be horrible misunderstandings cos what if love interest sees his full-on monster form and is like "fuck, youre the one who did this to him!" And then monster boy is like "well i wanna die anyway, and this way he'll never have to know the truth" so he pretends to be a villain and just accepts his fate. And even if you manage to play it all right and solve the mystery and get them to talk it out, love interest wouls still react with fear when he first finds out, and monster boy might jump to the wrong conclusions and run away. Like "you're scared of me!" "Yes! But that's my fault, not yours!" He doesnt know how to deal with someone who sees his true self and still chooses to stay. And someone whose fear turns to love at the sight of his face. So much god damn relief!! "Oh thank god youre just a demon, i thought you were DYING!" *so much goddamn smoochies of the bat boy*

Anyway yeah, thats my thought. Do indeed have some of the angst, even if its still "as soon as he realizes the monster is actually the man he loves, he realizes his fear was unfounded". It could just be another good way to show alternate perspectives when you play as each character? Like one of them talks about how scared he is of the monster on the mountain, and how he's scared he cant protect his sick friend from it. And then the other is seemingly obsessed with hating this thing, moby dick style, until you find out it literally is him and the entire time he was just being super hard on himself. And then you get to see both of these false perspectives clash with each other in the final act, and ultimately shatter to reveal just a sad lonely monsterboy who didnt want to lose the man he loved. And then we can finally get to the sweet acceptance and domestic romanceys, but it'll feel better for being earned!

...also i STILL NEED TO SETTLE ON A FINAL DESIGN FOR THIS DAMN MONSTERBOY. All i know is that he should have some sort of bigger monster form cos i find it hard to even really see something like a humanoid with wings as really "scary" at all. He needs to be a 50 foot tall dragon or a satan bat or a skeleton ghost or something. But still can do a halfway transformation for the cute monsterboy aesthetic, yknow? And i was leaning towards either "ice ghost" cos yknow cursed mountain and all, or vampire cos that'd have all the negative symptoms that'd make sense to be misinterpreted as illness. So either that or some other type of monster that has to consume blood or soul energy or something, and looks all pale and corpsey when its gone thru 15 years of trying to hide as a human and being half starved. But regular vampires are definately in the "not scary just a regular human wjth bits glued on" category, so itd have to be some sort of interesting design for them. Like a real grody gnarly giant bat monster that can just disguise itself as a human? Also it would be really cute in the happy ending to have your boyfriend cooking some fancy blood recipes or something, to show how much he loves ya! Like, not just romance hapoiness but also our monsterboy's life is just generally a lot better cos he doesnt have to hide himself and can just buy pig's blood at the butcher. Healthful in body and soul! ALSO MOSTLY THE ROMANCENESS, YES.

It is a little annoying though that you never get a kiss scene or even a confirmation that they're dating. There's a little more than just hand holding shown in the lesbian endings but its all drawn in a gross fanservicey 'straight men think lesbians are hot' sort of way :(

But i guess it all worked out cos it means the gay routes have WAY BETTER PLOTS, lol! All of the straight options for the male protagonist are either 'woman is asshole to you for 8 years but just trust me they are totally in love simply because she's a woman' or 'you are an asshole to woman but same' and even one where both of you are douchebags :/ Whereas the dudes get a plot that actually intersects with the main plot about the sealing of lucifer and also has DEEP ANGST and your love interest vowing to protect you from lucifer even if it means their death. HOW IN THE HELL COULD THEY THINK THAT WAS LESS ROMANTIC THAN 'UWU WOMAN SHOULDNT FIGHT U SHOULD BE MY HOUSEWIFE'??

and man even the gay routes still have a lot of gender stereotype nonsense, Snow's route is all 'he is womanly because he's bisexual' and 'protag is grossed out/annoyed/finds it funny', and the other guy Al's route has him being the homophobic asshole and constantly calling you the womanly one and only accidentally falling into romantic scenes because of contrived coincidences. And beating you up. And in the end you just both beat each other up and its meant to be hot i guess?? He's the attack stat character so i guess it makes sense but seriously its so weird like you have to prove youre One Of The Good Gays by being Super Manly and then Men Dont Romance They Just Fight And Fuck. Plus loads of 'uwu im not really gay oh im so disgusted by my feelings' and him still upholding all these gross sexist ideals and homophpboa even after he goddamn falls for you! At least its better than his straight route cos there he doesnt even get anything challenging his bigotry. Its just 'uwu u weak u no be warrior because girl' and then NO MATTER HOW MUCH HIGHER YOUR STATS ARE he's 'proven right' and his route is all about 'protecting you', ugh...

So yeah i think Snow's route is the best one so far just because he's unapologetically queer and always stands up to people givibg him shit and never changes to fit their dumb ideas of masculinity and femininity like everyone else does in every route. Though still every birthday you have to see the same 'lol u r like a girl because u give me a present no true man actually appreciates his friends' scene. And the dumb 'excuse' for why he 'acts like a woman', that its just some sort of goddamn species trait of flower demons. OR MAYBE HE'S JUST A DUDE WHO LIKES FLOWERS AND LIKES DUDES AND ALSO SO AM I! Seriously i hate that it puts words into your protagonist's mouth so the dude always agrees that Eww Girly Men Bad and the girl always agrees that Gee I Am Weak And Need Protecting. :(

Anyway Snow and Silver are living in a nice forest cottage together and Snow vowed to protect him from lucifer even if it means dying and Silver was like *bittersweet smile* "thank goodness we'll die together because i couldnt be without you" and then it talks about how even if the magic spell fails their souls will be tied together for all eternity and sleeping inside the magic jade until someday they get reincarnated and find each other all over again so GOD DAMN YOU CANT TELL ME THATS LESS ROMANTIC THAN FUCKIN DOUCHEBAG RICH GIRL WHO SLAPS YOU AND YOU BUY HER ONE PACKET OF BREAD AND SUDDENLY ITS A MARRIAGE

Also im real fuckin glad to find out that in the context of one of the other endibgs its confirmed that no the worst case scenario mentioned in snow's ending is not ever gonna happen, and yes they will indeed be hapoy forever. Tho its a shame you couldnt get some sort bonus even gooder snow ending if you find that out? Cos they never needed to do that spell to seal the protagonist's powers, lucifer is already never gonna actually revive unless the player picks all the bad choices. So they didnt have to run off and become forest hermits and live in fear. They could become less hermitty nice forest cottage doods and still keep in touch with the family!

Also i think its slightly wasted potential that Snow's demon horns dont grow bigger as he gets older. It was already a really neat design choice to make the shyest nicest guy have the most demony features, and it would have been even cuter if he had some massive satan horns and then such a kind :3 face underneath~ (also lol its weird that actual satan doesnt have horns and looks totally human aside from his hair colour...wtf...)

ALSO there should have been an actual kiss scene!!! Though the scene of them holding hands in the glow of snow's magic as he makes you a lil flower gift was REAL CUTE ALSO. But let them have smooch and confirmed onscreen marriage/at least saying the word "love" or "boyfriend" even once!

They shoulda made a whole sequel game where u play as their child. Maybe a plot of some new bad guy coming after grown up protag to unseal his powers and awaken lucifer again, and their kid has to rescue them from being kidnapped? Or dealing with the racism of being a human-demon couple, or maybe finally meeting snow's parents or just THERES A LOT OF POTENTIAL PLOTS

BIG THINGS I HATE: when straight endings take priority

Like, i’m playing this app game called Love Story Magical Princess and i just got really bummed out. I know that if you meet the conditions for two endings it has a list to decide which one to give you, but like i didnt even meet both requirements?? I was going for Snow and i got ALL HIS EVENTS as well as the stat requirements, and instead i got the asshole rude tsundere rich lady who also requires Intelligence stats but i didnt even finish her route! And MAN the game wanted me to finish her fuckin route, i had to go to all the same classes to get him and all of his events are in the same places her events are…

So like man if it goes for her even if he has more event flags tripped, then do i have to go out of my way to find ways to raise these stats without using the easy classes? Just to make sure i never bump into her??

Seriously it was SUCH a mood killer! I just finished this whole dramatic sad route with this shy gay demon man and he nearly DIED and i CRADLED HIS BODY BACK TO HEALTH and we were discussing whether the protagonist shpuld sacrifice himself to save the world and Snow was being like ‘no i wont let that happen, its my turn to protect you’ aaaaa!! And it had a few stupid homophobic moments but generally the writing was at the best its ever been in the entire game!

And then fuckin.. Fade to black and some lady i dont even know is saying ‘uhu be my butler’ and protagonist is like ‘i’ll do anything for you’ even though she’s been nothing but an asshole to you and wont even treat you like an equal and actually marry you like everyone else…

AND I SPENT HOURS MICROMANAGING STATS FOR GODDAMN SNOW!!!!!
