❗️Important announcement❗️

Hello everyone! 😁 January is finally here, and this is very exciting news for me because I'm going to New Zealand!!! 🤩✈️ It's a huge trip that I've been planning for a whole year now. It will be the first time I ever take the plane. The first time I visit another country in years. The first time I travel so far away from home! And what's more, this will be the longest trip in my life. Over a month. I can hardly wrap my head around it still! 🤯🗓

I've also had some time to reflect, and... I've decided to use this opportunity to step back and go offline for a bit. 🌱 I wanted to tell you about this sooner, and I apologize for how sudden this probably is for most of you. I promise that I'm alright and doing this with a peaceful mindset! Although- I'm a bit sad at the thought that we won't see or hear from each other for a while. 🥺 It's a bittersweet feeling, but at the same time, I'm sure the temporary change of pace will be a good thing. Lately I've been feeling the need to take a break from social media again, and the timing is perfect. I'm ready. 🤲💫

To my lovely friends and followers here: I hope you will all have a great time these next few weeks. I hope the beginning of 2024 will treat you well and that you will get to experience new and exciting things. i don't think i've got a bingo on one of these b4 so this is a pleasant first :]]

rico is like. my stimmy guy. my temporary speech loss outlet. in a really really positive way. i can't remember a time where i didn't love and project onto rico lol, as i grew up on the madagascar franchise! he's always been a character who i feel is extremely relatable, likely because of my audhd, as he's sorta... helped me come to terms with it? i can't change how hard it is for me to communicate, or that stimming is natural to me, or that i feel urges to do things "out of the ordinary", and so on. it's silly but, the way that the other characters treat rico, it makes me feel... better, i can't really think of a word rn. but they just. accept his lack of speech and his tendencies and to me it feels like what a neurodivergent-accepting world would be like. i could diverge and go on a whole tangent about why i love the madagascar movies so much in that way, where the world is so weird but in such a positive & accepting way, but yeah. specifically hyperfocusing on rico has made me feel that way!! in some way or another, all my characters kinda teach me something, and i think rico's lesson is to stop masking and be my authentic self lmao

rico is also a massive comfort for me :) here's this penguin plushie i adore that reminds me of him!! i take it in my bag out with me for fun or when i'm feeling anxious or unwell

Finn's crowing rang through the dingy alley and echoed up to the concrete overpass above. The rundown neighborhood was abandoned so late on a chill winter night, letting him enjoy the melancholy of cars rumbling overhead as a sluggish, fluffy-flaked snowfall coated the streets. He hadn't seen another soul on the way back to his hideout until the figure he'd just spotted in the distance—but he'd recognize that curly moptop anywhere.

Picking up the pace, he waved his arms as he trotted over, his grin wide and bright. "If it ain't Leo Valdez! Holy shit, man, are you a sight for sore eyes. Glad to see you're still alive and kickin' after all this time. What's it been? Two years? Three?"

Far shorter than it felt like, considering all that had happened since they'd last seen each other. Back then Finn had been an entirely different person, but damn, this kid hadn't aged a day! Was that a perk for all the world's magic kids? Lucky bastards.

"I wandered my way back to Pasadena on a whim a few weeks ago, but I sure never thought I'd run into you here again." He rubbed his hands together against the cold, blowing on his fingers before tucking them into the pockets of his tattered jacket. "You better not tell me you're squattin' in those same manufacturing plants again, or I just might think you missed me, too."

I just wanted to say I absolutely love all your cryptid sightings art, it's really amazing! All your designs for Sun and Moon's cryptid form look so amazing and I love all the little details you put into them, especially the various anatomy posts. 1. What’s their love languages?

Okay so Anetra (like me) is CLEARLY gift giving she loves giving gifts it’s a way for her to show how much she cares about someone without having to actually verbally express her emotions. Marcia on the other hand I think is a combination of quality time and physical touch. Obviously everyone has some aspects of all 5 as far as I’m concerned but I think Marcia is really grounded by just being together and having that security that the tangible reminder of physical touch can provide.

16. What’s their favorite “domestic bliss” moment? Do they cook/clean together? Do they like to go out shopping together?

Marcia is a terrible cook, but when they eventually live in a place with a kitchen, Anetra starts teaching her, since Anetra grew up as an eldest daughter in a religious home and has a ton of cooking experience. Marcia really enjoys baking together especially but she loves to be a kind of sous chef for Anetra. They do (obviously) shop together, although it’s mostly Marcia dragging Anetra along and asking her opinion on everything she tries on even though Anetra says she looks amazing in everything (because she does)

19. How do they silently/subtly express their love for each other?

I think a lot of Anetra’s expression of love comes in the quieter more subtle ways. I think she’s a really good listener and she lets Marcia vent and rant and express herself as much as she needs and holds her hand through it and is there to comfort her or whatever she needs. I also just think showing up to every performance Marcia has, bringing her flowers, being the one cheering loudest for her. Marcia likewise goes to any performance where Anetra is dancing, or anywhere she’s showing her art. Marcia also shows her love by not so much toning herself down but being patient with Anetra, and allowing Anetra to have the quiet solitude she needs in order to open up and be comfortable. But likewise she brags to every single person she meets about Anetra’s accomplishments

29. What is something they can never agree on? How do they meet in the middle?

Uh. Is everything an answer 😅 they are very very different people with very very different personalities and opinions. Honestly I’m not sure they really meet in the middle ever they just bicker until it turns into making out

2: The way the Mun writes Kitt is something I absolutely love and I always want to explore her world and listen or read more in depth about her and her backstory.

3: Kitt’s insults about and to, Red, and the Slayer always make me laugh out loud! I also love how they drive her crazy, and how much she sasses back at them, it’s funny! (From my other Blog)

4: Kitt is an amazingly written character who in my opinion is very believable and her personality is *chefs kiss*

Oh this is absolutely wonderful!! Thank you for drawing my request! This has to be one of my top favorites for sure! I could say so much about this and now that I have more space on tumblr, I shall go all out!

First of all, I love that you drew it to look as if it takes place in an actual canon event. And of Chapter 3 and their first meeting! Imagine if this was an alternate scene, you connected it so perfectly!! I can see Yuma getting a fever not only from almost drowning, but also the stress of likely losing everyone and everything as well as the exhaustion of everything he’s been through so far! Yes!! You really get what I think here! And I love how you made Yuma pant and collapse. And then Makoto catching him…it’s so good 😭 Just like a real manga or anime scene! 👏

And the second part, Makoto being so considerate and caring of Yuma despite the fact that he likely sees him as an enemy right now. Makoto is a person with a kind heart so even if he feels conflicted about Yuma, he still cares so tenderly for him when he’s not well. I do think that is the kind of person Makoto is. Since he cares for and loves an entire city of people like him, I think he would have the same caring nature towards anyone if they weren’t well, even his original. Sure he could do it for the sake of his plan to continue to guide yuma to the truth and use him to usurp yomi, but no I think deep down, he does genuinely care about him and wants him to get better soon.

I really love that you made Makoto look so surprised/shocked after he discovered Yuma had a fever. It’s such a nice touch to know that he cares deep down for him! 💕 I like that we think similarly about Makoto and Yuma, so I knew you would draw this out so perfectly and with such care and attention to detail. You really do draw these two so well!

Sorry to talk so much and I hope you can understand it. I just want to show my appreciation and that your hard work was all worth it! This is such a lovely manga drawing and I’m sure it will be appreciated and loved by lots of fans of these two. Just a sweet and serene moment between them and I think they need more moments like this 💜

I find nice strolls on sunny, warm days very pleasant! This is why spring is my favorite season tbh ❤️ (it's pelting down here atm lmao, where's the sun .O.)

Last but not least, it's art. I've been slooowly reapproaching drawing lately, and even if I haven't been sketching much I'm getting a lot more ideas and inspiration than I used to and I love it!! It's making me smile again, and I don't feel as much stuck as like, a few years ago or so ❤️ so yeah I'm very glad it's been getting better, step by step ❤️

Pleasantly surprised that Neumes did extremely well with helping me overcome executive dysfunction and sensory overload/agoraphobia today... c:>

He did really well when we had to go to the pharmacy to get my hormones, too, and the line was distressingly long.

Been much more talkative in more private spaces and not really anyone reading these but figure it's a good little update.

Everyone is doing so well and overcoming things so quickly. I mean it makes sense once the initial shock and trauma responses are over. But in particular it's like the "help other people" instinct takes over. And along the way they've gotten better at regulating their emotions and helping me with mine.

It's all things I think that have been here for a while but. Now we can actually work together and try to make this life a little easier. It's really really nice... c:

He barely turns his gaze from what he was doing when he smells the delicious sponge cake. Seeing the delicious fruits made him very hungry!
