Your clinginess especially on slow afternoons wasn't something that started today. Rather, you had always been this way, especially when both of you were home and free to relax. You'd wrap your arms around him from behind his back and nuzzle your head into his neck and nape while resting your chin on his shoulders from time to time. It was a very simple gesture, but it was sure to melt his heart every time.

“Missed me?” he asked, teasing.

“Yeah,” you said, voice muffled as your face was planted in his shoulder.

Gosh. It wasn't like this was new, but he'd probably never get used to this. In front of others you were someone everyone would depend on, someone always on top of their work. No one would ever believe him if he mentioned that you were like this when the two of you were alone. Not that he would ever. This version of you was for him and him alone.

He loved when you had your head on his shoulder— he could lean his head on yours and run his fingers through your hair. He quite liked that you were slightly taller than him, but this was rather nice from time to time.

He pulled away from your embrace and you looked up, only to feel him kiss your forehead. He continued to pepper soft kisses on you face and you couldn't help but smile.

“It tickles,” you said and he grinned then gave you more.

“Soushirou, I missed this,” you said and he finally stopped for a moment. He did too. Everything had been a little too busy lately. There had been no time for the two of you to just… sit down and spend an afternoon together.

“Yeah,” he said. “I did too.”

“We should start making time for this,” you said. “Find time for this.”

“Yeah, I'd love that a lot,” he said. “I'll promise to make time.”

hi, my love !! i apologize for such a late reply bb i’m doing my best to catch up on my inbox. she’s still a work-in-progress with her storyline as there are many gaps to be filled, but i’ll ramble on with what i definitely know !! so she is stannis baratheon’s firstborn to his first wife, who is an oc, ellyn dondarrion. originally, i wasn’t gonna have aly have a different mother, but it actually ended up making a lot more sense to aly’s personality and upbringing rather than having selyse as her biological mother. she was born on blackhaven during robert’s rebellion, but spent most of her youth at dragonstone. when she was eight, she was sent to be fostered in winterfell under the care of house stark and was to be taught the proper ways of being a lady ( per selyse’s request ).

aly is a lady, but she was also born with the heart of a stag and a mind made of lightning. yes, she likes to wear pretty, velvet dresses and have winter roses in her hair, but she also enjoys swinging a sword and shooting arrows with her bow. aly likes the finer things in life while simultaneously likes to get her hands dirty and not act so proper all the time.

she gets along with the starks very well for the most part !! mainly, the boys plus arya. she, sansa, and catelyn get along as well ( bc in this house, women support women ) but definitely not as much as she does with the rest. but her and jon are definitely very close if u know what i mean 👀.

they were each other’s first love, and sadly, it takes many years for them to ever become more than two people who are hopelessly in love with each other, but can never do anything about it. however, they need to go through their own separate paths for them to eventually follow the same one. it’s for the best for each of their own character arcs, but yea it takes a long time unfortunately.

again, i still have much to figure out in terms of plotting because there is so much i have yet to explore within my own ideas so a lot is subjective to change in the future. but these are the main ideas that i know are for sure staying ( unless ofc i change my mind lol ). but yea i hope u like aly and are excited to see what’s to come !!

Your chainshipping takes are so good just inject that shit into my veins. I feel like a lot of shippers just… skip over the fact that Lawrence has issues and jump into codependent trauma bonding never let go of Adam again mode without contextualizing everything regarding Alison. Like I get they take the easy way out that she would leave him (and she does eventually) but he probably trauma bonded with her as well since she also was kidnapped and held at gunpoint. Like I doubt their split would be super simple and understanding with no fight to at least *try* to stay together. They would fail to work through it but I don’t think they would just go “now that you are no longer hostage, it’s time for divorce” ASAP like a lot of fandom thinks. (I think even Adam’s survival would factor into it because Alison would be like why are you still interacting with the guy who reminds you of a traumatic experience and was a pawn in your kidnapping? Because it means Lawrence is still holding on to those ugly moments rather than moving on from them.)

YES ABSOLUTELY!! i def focused on Lawrence in that last post lol, but i agree 100% i dont think Alison would be super quick to divorce him either. i feel like she would want to go back to normal just as much as he would, but they just went through too much and wouldn't be able to find it again.

even from just a maternal standpoint i think she would want to try to stay together at first. like i very much doubt that after going through an extremely traumatic event with her 8 yr old daughter, her first thought would be to destabilize said 8 yr old daughter's home life.

but yeah its really unfortunate that Alison gets glossed over a lot because i think that she's a really cool character! and her relationship with Lawrence post bathroom trap is really interesting and i'd love to see it explored more
