sooo i am from syrup village, i’m actually cousins with usopp so we grew up with each other ! i worked at the restaurant in town.

ace came to syrup village with his crew, he (as per usual) was asleep at the counter when i came in for my shift. some customers told me about it and were concerned abt him.

i’m ngl i did not want to deal with that, as it just added stress levels to my job LMAO but i try multiple times to nudge him and eventually yell for him to wake up (im embarrassed atp) and ofc he wakes up to wipe his face on my clothes 💀

after our odd exchange he tells me abt his crew and being a pirate. i tell him of some pirates i know but that i’ve never been out to sea.

after our convo, i tell him the food is on the house and not to worry about it. he’s really thankful for that and tells me that he owes me a favor. i tell him that i’m holding him to his word 🤞.

later that day, usopp was alarmed bc there were pirates and was invested in checking out the ship that was docked nearby. i told him not to do anything stupid and that i would go look. i figured it was probably just ace and his crew but was also curious as to what a pirate ship looked like up close!

now in my one piece lore, i am a mermaid (think like h2o) heehee, so ofc i swim and get closer to the boat. unfortunately i get caught up in a net, and his crewmates capture me in it.

luckily ace comes by and tells them to let me go. their doctor helps me with the cuts from the net and eventually i’m all patched up.

ace apologizes for what happens, and offers to take me back home. i tell him i can’t let him do that (due to usopp probably freaking out) and spending the night on his ship would be okay.

so we spend the rest of the night talking and chatting and he tells me of course about luffy and his adventures.

he has to leave the following day, and gives me his bracelet to remember him. (i have additional lore that i gave him a drawing that i did of him while he was sleep). he promises that we will meet again in the future :))
