the preds are shapeshifting aliens who are trying to infiltrate humanity so they can take over the planet and use all of its natural resources...(cause, yknow, earth is full of like...energon and stuff)

megatron has convinced the preds that all humans r brutish and violent so its fine if theyre all wiped out. theyre all just a stepping stone to conquest!!

dinobot is the first soldier sent down to scout out humanity. bc obviously hes the most capable right?? so basically he lands in a bar terminator style and ends up picking a fight in the parking lot against a motorcycle gang to test just how strong these EVIL humans are. (pause)

optimus primal is the owner of the bar dinobot finds himself at (the axalon!), he lives in an apartment above it. primal has custody of cheetor. cheetor likes to bounce between optimus and uncle rhinox's houses. rhinox is op's closest pal, he works at the axalon, and volunteers at a local church in the meantime. rattrap sleeps in rhinox's garage, and also works at the axalon. he and rhinox have SOMETHING going on. (bc i said so and also just, like, cheetor deserves two uncles)

(unpause) so ok basically, optimus is about to close up shop and he sees this weird tall guy tussling with a gang of dudes and hes like "THIS GUYS GONNA GET HIS ASS KICKED" so he impulsively rushes out to scare those dudes off and dinobots like "wow this rando just risked his skin for me...maybe humans are capable of being honorable ......maybe no murder them??? 🤔"

sooo dinobot insists he owes op a life debt (he wants to hover around and really observe humanity now) and he ends up with a job at the bar...he just sleeps outside until op finds out hes homeless, and he gets to crash on ops couch. rattrap hates his ass. theyre best friends.

ok so like...time passes, megatron is getting impatient for dinobots report, so he sends down waspinator and terrorsaur to check things out. dinobot defends his friends, a firefight breaks out. dinobot shoots lasers out of his eyes or some shit and everyones like WWWHHHUHH???

op is like what the FUCK just happened .and dinobot has to explain everything. everything. he comes clean about how he was originally here to literally take over the earth but hes like. you and your friends have helped me fall in love with humanity. we have to go kick megatrons ass.

and everyone cant help but feel betrayed right? but what choice do they have?

...im thinking about how to end this without having dinobot do a Heroic Sacrifice...im not strong enough for that...
