i started reading tyk a couple of years ago but got distracted by other books, and only yesterday did i begin to reread it and man. god. wenzhou really are so made for each other, they're so fucking annoying ♥♥
#also gu xiang is there!!! my favourite! best girl!#i finished qi ye yesterday and tyk is a nice change of pace#like qi ye wasn't bad and i'm glad to have more context for he lianyi's whole deal#+ beiyuan is so fucking funny as a character. what a guy. he and wu xi are NOT what i expected based on their shl cameo#but i'm not complaining#regardless!! you can tell priest grew as an author between novels#even though the translation is... leaving a lot to wish for#thank god the characters pull me through sdlkj#tyk: all#wenzhou
