nobody go look up this fic or anything bc from what i remember it was Fine, but that male-centric fandom post made me remember how after a year-ish of being the only hennessy writer on ao3 aside from izzy's hennessy character study,

i FINALLY found a fic where hennessy was listed as one of the characters.

and i was So Psyched. don't get me wrong i did not expect her to play a big part, it was clearly a m/m-centered fic and she was among the last characters listed. i expected her to function as a wise guru lesbian giving relationship advice to her bestie who's a gay man. bc that's the main archetype i think fandom could pretzel her into.

so i read it! bc hennessy was there!!!! she was in the list of characters!!!!

.........and she was dead.

and she'd been dead since before the start of the fic. and she was only listed as a character because she'd been killed to make ronan sad. maybe 2 paragraphs were spent on ronan being sad about her being dead and that was it.

that was the extent of hennessy in cdth fandom. aside from me and izzy.

that was IT.
