Kangana Ranaut celebrates Padma Shri honour with Thalaivi team in Chennai, cuts huge cake - bollywood

Kangana Ranaut has been announced as a recipient of this year’s Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour, for her contribution to the field of performing arts. She celebrated the achievement with the team of her upcoming film Thalaivi in Chennai.A picture shared by the official Instagram handle of Kangana’s team shows her cutting a huge cake, as the cast and crew applauds her. “Team #Thalaivi celebrates #KanganaRanaut’s supreme achievement in being awarded the prestigious #PadmaShri Award,” the caption read.Soon after being conferred with the Padma Shri, Kangana expressed her gratitude towards the Government of India and well-wishers in a video. Dedicating her win to “every woman who dares to dream”, she said, “I’m humbled and I’m honoured. I am grateful to the Indian government, my fans and friends. The 2020 Padma honours were announced and filmmaker Karan Johar, Panga actress Kangana Ranaut, and producer Ekta Kapoor have been conferred with The Padma Shri award for excellence in performing arts. It is the fourth highest civilian award and singer-performer Adnan Sami has also been conferred to the same.

Speaking of the honour, Karan Johar said, ”It’s not very often that I’m at a loss for words, but this is one such occasion... The Padma Shri. Such an honour to receive one of the highest civilian awards in the country. Overwhelmed by so many emotions right now.  Humbled, elated and also thankful for the opportunity to live my dream every day, to create and to entertain. Kangana Ranaut Begins The Prep For Jayalalitha’s Biopic With Classes Of Bharatnatyam

Kangana Ranaut is a bold, beautiful and talented actress from Bollywood. Last release of Kangana Ranaut has been Judgementall Hai Kya with Rajkummar Rao. It has been a black comedy which has received a mixed response at the box office. However, performance of Kangana in the movie has been appreciated. Chemistry between Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao have been amazing onscreen also. Prakash Kovelamudi has directed the movie while it has been produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Production. Through the movie, Kangana has been showcased as a quirky character that has been obsessed with her neighbour named Keshav aka Rajkummar Rao since he is considered as too normal.

Now, Kangana Ranaut is preparing for her future projects. Interesting movies from Kangana can be seen in coming days also. Next, Kangana is expected to be seen as a Kabbadi player in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Panga. Shooting of this movie has been completed by Kangana already. There has been an action movie Dhaakad and bilingual movie on Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha in her hand as well. The movie is expected to come with the title Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. Director of the movie is AL Vijay.                                                                                                                                                                                Earlier, it has been said that Kangana is learning Tamil for Jayalalitha biopic especially. Kangana has also said that she has lot of similarity with Jayalalitha’s character. Since, Kangana is a perfectionist. Therefore, she has started to take classes of Bharatnatyam.
