Travel to ultimate destination Thailand with best Thailand tour packages - Just Click Travels
Thailand is an ultimate destination that one must visit at least once in lifetime. It is a marvel on earth with the most beautiful and splendid beaches out here. Whenever we finalize our travel plan the usual thing which crosses our mind is to visit the famous places of that destination. So while booking your Thailand tour package, there are numerous places that should be on your to list before you commence your tour. For example, spending quality time with your loved ones at the gorgeous golden beaches of Thailand, the uncommon night markets, opulent palaces which are undoubtedly the most splendid historical architecture of Thailand, the super amazing nightlife wherein you fantasy dancing with your heartthrob on foot tapping numbers and the delicious cuisines with unique taste and aroma besides the tongue twisting names.
Planning a Thailand tour is easy and also available for people of all ages as it is a perfect place for everyone. Be it in early 20’s, late 30’s or for that matter elderly people and kids also enjoy visiting Thailand. It is a well-known harbor for destination weddings followed by a long honeymoon.
As Thailand is a place where you may see people from different cultures and values however the best part is the embracing behavior of Thai residents. The people are warm, friendly and have unconditional love for the kids. So families visiting with kids don’t worry as there are places where you may leave the kids for their fun activities and can peacefully head out for your personal outings. On your Thailand tour the appealing thing will be the architectural heritage well projected on the temples and a few other places. The royal palaces and historical monuments give tourists a mixed feeling of both excitement as well as it gets you curious about the history. We would like to suggest you a few temples in Thailand which give a sneak peek into history during the Thailand trip such as:
Sanctuary of Truth: The construction of temple has been done in a very unique manner as you will be surprised to know that there has been no brick involved in building this temple which is normally the case however it is entirely standing the woods. The view is mesmerizing, which leaves the tourist spellbinding. The placement of the wooden structure has been done in a very detailed manner as every part of the wood talks about the history. The important aspect to remember during the Thailand trip is the timings so the temple opens at 8am and the visitors are allowed until 6 pm.
Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew: This temple visit is a must addition in your Thailand tour package as it educates them on the importance of becoming environment-friendly which has lately become an obsolete thing in today’s modern era. It will come as a pleasant surprise that the temple was built using staggering 1.5 million recycled water bottles. I personally in awe of this amazing fact and still can’t even imagine how is this possible however trust us the look and feel of the temple through green and red color is commendable. Now this is what we call as people portraying true caring for the mother earth. The door of temple opens at 8AM in the morning and visitors can come until 5 PM in the evening.
It seems the list is not ending soon for the temples in Thailand. The usual feeling is what is so different in temples however believe us every temple tells its own story and missing any of these during the Thailand tour is not suggested at all.
Wat Pa Phu Kon: A beautiful addition while you are enjoying the Thailand Tour booked through Just Click Travels. This temple lures us with the amazing colors used artistically while constructing the temple. I am sure the people who were involved in the designing process loved the name and waves as the temple is graced with aqua blue color and the white marble statue located inside is an absolutely delightful view. The position of the temple is just perfect on the hills, blending with the natural colors. The timings of the temple are 9 AM till 5 PM.
Tiger Cave Temple: The name is such that you would like to visit the temple while you will be on the Thailand tour. The reason it has been named as Tiger Cave Temple is it has the footprints of tigers on stones making it a very popular destination to be visited. Let us tell it’s not that easy to get it into tigers den, make sure you have taken enough rest and nuts so as to reach the temple you are required to climb 1272 steps. The operational hours of the temple are 6:15 AM until 6:30 PM
Wat Phra Kaew: This temple is situated amidst Bangkok and is one of the most important Thai Buddhist temples. It is surrounded by the colorful buildings of Bangkok and inside the temple there is a beautiful Green color lord Buddha statue. One more reason to visit the temple is Bangkok, the electronic city of Thailand.
Wat Pho: It is a very popular Thai temple and is also known as the Temple of Reclining Buddha. It is the oldest temple in Thailand. The temple has a 46 meter long reclining statue of Buddha in Gold. The look of the statue is amazing leaving you mesmerized in the beauty. Wat Pho also owns the largest collection of Buddha statues and the complete experience for you will be worth it. None of the Thailand trips are complete without being at Wat Pho.
Besides all the above temples there are a few more which you might want to consider during the Thailand package tour such as White temple, Wat Arun, Sirindhorn War Aram Phu Prao, Wat Benchamabophit, Wat Chaiwatthanaram and Wat Phra That.
Thailand tour is undoubtedly incomplete if you have not been to Bangkok Pattaya and Phuket. These places are the assets of Thailand. Bangkok Pattaya and Phuket is the hub of nightclubs, bars, lounges and of course you get to taste lip smacking seafood and other food items. While Bangkok and Pattaya will completely engage you with its charm don’t miss out on being at the mind blowing seashores of Phuket.
We are an IATA recognized company and assist in all kind of bookings such as Family holidays, honeymoon packages or corporate bookings. Indonesia: 4 Priorities for Joko Widodo in Washington

Indonesia: 4 Priorities for Joko Widodo in Washington
When U.S. President Barack Obama welcomes Indonesian President Joko Widodo at the White House on Monday, certain similarities between the two leaders will be undeniable. Both are of the same age (54 years old), both were political outsiders whose meteoric rise to power sparked hope and expectations for change. And for both men, this initial optimism faded somewhat after underwhelming starts to their respective first terms.
Jokowi, as the leader of Southeast Asia’s most populous country is affectionately called, departed for the U.S. on Saturday, just days after completing his maiden year in office. Trade and investment are high on the agenda. Apart from his meeting at the Oval Office, he is set to meet the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and fund managers in Washington, and later tour Silicon Valley to see Apple CEO Tim Cook and other tech giants’ executives. “The main focus of this visit is to increase the bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and America,” Jokowi said in Jakarta before leaving for the U.S. “Mainly in investment and trade, and also in digital economy and creative economy.”
But the upbeat note aside, a plethora of problems back home are overshadowing his trip. Here are four challenges that Jokowi is facing:
1. Environment The months-long forest fires that are raging in Sumatra and Kalimantan, and more recently in eastern Indonesia, have gone from bad to worse, producing haze that affects millions of people in the country and other Southeast Asian nations: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and even the Philippines.
Indonesia is the third biggest emitter of greenhouse gases, after the U.S. and China, primarily because of peatland degradation, forest fires and deforestation. But the recent blazes — blamed on farmers, palm-oil and pulpwood companies clearing peatland forests — have taken it to a staggering new level. According to research by Professor Guido van der Werf, since September, daily emissions from Indonesia’s forest fires have exceeded those of the U.S. economy.
With the multinational efforts putting down the fire failing to contain them and children dying because of haze, Jokowi has instructed his ministers to prepare the mass evacuation of residents. But he is accused of not acting fast enough to tackle the annual manmade disaster. “The lack of Indonesian leadership in the haze issue is telling,” says Natalie Sambhi, Indonesia analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.
2. Human rights Obama, who spent some of his childhood years in Jakarta, has repeatedly praised Indonesia, including when he first met Jokowi soon after his election victory last year. Indonesia, the country with the world’s largest Muslim population, Obama said, is “an example of democracy, tolerance and pluralism.”
But one year on, Jokowi has lost much of his pro-human-rights, reformist luster, thanks to his hard-line stance on the death penalty for drug convicts and his frequent silence on the ongoing intolerance toward the country’s religious minorities.
This month, a hard-line Muslim mob besieged and burned down a church in Aceh Singkil district, saying it lacked a building permit. Local authorities later tore down nine other churches and planned to demolish one more. A mayor in the town of Bogor issued a circular last week banning a religious celebration of Shi‘ite Muslims.
Jokowi is also reluctant to address the country’s past human-rights abuses, including the 1965 mass killings. While Indonesians enjoy freer discussions about the pogrom, which killed between 500,000 to 1 million communists and suspected communists, than previously, there is a new, chilling trend of official obfuscation regarding the slaughter.
Earlier this month, 77-year-old Tom Iljas, a former political exile who resides in Sweden, was detained and deported from Indonesia after attempting to visit a mass grave where his father, a victim of the massacre, was believed to be buried. Police in Salatiga seized and burned copies of a campus magazine that published stories of the killings. The Ubud Writers and Readers Festival was forced to cancel events related to the 1965 tragedy after local authorities threatened to revoke its permit.
3. Economy The global economic slowdown has weakened the economic growth in Southeast Asia’s biggest economy. Indonesia rupiah has seen its value sharply fall against the dollar, making it one of the worst performing currencies in Asia.
Jokowi’s Cabinet reshuffle in mid-August won praises for including respectable figures in his economic team, such as Harvard-educated private-equity executive Thomas Lembong as Trade Minister (replacing Rachmat Gobel, who once said imported secondhand clothes could transmit the AIDS virus) and senior technocrat and former central banker Darmin Nasution as the Coordinating Minister of Economy. Jokowi’s new economic team has launched a series of economic packages — the fifth installment was revealed last week. “Though a bit late, the Cabinet reshuffle is a step toward the right direction,” says Metta Dharmasaputra, executive director of Katadata, a business think tank in Jakarta.
Although Jokowi has repeatedly assured overseas business and political leaders that Indonesia welcomes foreign investment, his economic policies tend to lean toward protectionism, from laws governing mining and technology, a rise of import duties on a range of consumer goods to more restrictions on hiring foreign professionals.
“It is possible that Jokowi wants to clear this mixed signal during his U.S. visit at the end of this month,” Metta tells TIME, “including the possibility for Indonesia to join Trans-Pacific Partnership that is spearheaded by the U.S., a longtime business and trade partner of Indonesia.”
4. Foreign policy Jokowi’s presidential candidacy may have won support from international celebrities such as Sting, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and Jason Mraz, but in his foreign policy the President tends to look inward rather than outward. “Jokowi’s foreign policy is driven primarily by domestic concerns and less by international status, as it was under [Yudhoyono],” Sambhi says.
The South China Sea issue is likely to be a subject of discussion with Obama. Indonesia, which is not a claimant in the territorial dispute, is reluctant to take a leadership role to mediate the conflict between China and smaller ASEAN countries like Vietnam and the Philippines. While Jakarta is wary of Beijing’s encroachment in the Indonesia-administered Natuna area off Borneo, it also wishes closer investment ties with China. (China won the high-speed rail project between Jakarta and Bandung, following a murky bidding process, which angered Japan.)
The complicated relationship with Beijing constrains Jakarta from taking a strong position on the South China Sea, says Sambhi. “And you can see that in its lack of engagement with ASEAN. It prefers to deal with China on a bilateral basis and let other ASEAN states do the same.”

Thomas Cook Is Cautiously Optimistic About its China Business
Thomas Cook Group has seen positive results from China so far but doesn't plan to abandon its core European business. Pictured is Thomas Cook Group CEO Peter Fankhauser at the group's Shanghai office. Thomas Cook Group
Skift Take: Thomas Cook has hit the ground running in China but it's not running away from its core business in Europe. The group doesn't want to be too aggressive in China before its made more of a name for itself in the market and sees how consumers respond.
— Dan Peltier
Less than a year after kicking off operations in China, European tour operator Thomas Cook Group is looking to a key partnership, sports tourism, and underserved travelers as it tries to avoid the missteps that many other Western travel brands made in the country.
The group, headquartered in the UK, is going after both the Chinese outbound market, with its 130 million travelers, and inbound travelers in a variety of ways.
In an interview with Skift at the World Travel & Tourism Council’s Global Summit in Bangkok last month, CEO Peter Fankhauser detailed those approaches and explained why its Chinese business is becoming more relevant to the group’s story.
To help it succeed, Thomas Cook China is relying on partnerships with European and Chinese brands and sports teams, for example.
The company is targeting many Chinese travelers’ love of European football to grow its outbound Chinese business, Fankhauser said. Thomas Cook has partnered with European football teams such as Manchester United to promote inbound and outbound Chinese travel and act as an incoming agent for European football clubs touring China for summer pre-season tournaments.
Thomas Cook China’s outbound, long-haul itineraries for Europe, Africa and Americas focus on sports travel packages while its short-haul packages for Southeast Asia are marketed to sun and beach lovers.
The company is still learning which products will resonate in the Chinese market, but it has already noticed a trend towards individual travel in China.
Group tours still account for the majority of the outbound market, Fankhauser said, but it’s seeing increased volume with Chinese travelers wanting to go without a group.
“That is probably the biggest opportunity for us in China,” he said. “More Chinese consumers are turning away from these big groups where they go with other tour operators in Europe through different cities.”
Fankhauser believes individual Chinese travel is a niche that hasn’t been sufficiently addressed by competitors. “For example, almost 50 percent of our arrivals in the Maldives are individual Chinese couples,” he said. “It’s massive but they have nothing to do with the expectations we have of Chinese tourists coming to Europe.”
The company’s outbound Chinese market is projected to grow 15 to 20 percent each year during the next five to 10 years. Thomas Cook began booking Chinese itineraries in September 2016 and has already booked more travelers during the first five months of this year than the September to December 2016 period, a representative said.
Bringing Europeans to China
With inbound Chinese itineraries, the company initially plans to send about 2,500 to 3,000 European travelers to China per year, much smaller than other long-haul destinations such as Australia or Thailand. Product offerings in China include hotel packages, sporting events and show tickets.
Since September, Thomas Cook’s inbound Chinese itineraries — mainly bringing Europeans to China — have generated most of its China business’ revenues and cash flows, Fankhauser said.
While the operator increasingly views China as important to the group’s growth — Fankhauser said it is already the company’s fastest growing market “by a long way” — it’s not certain if that market will become one of Thomas Cook’s long-term, core growth opportunities.
For one, Thomas Cook doesn’t want to divert attention from its mainstay European business. Of its 16 source markets, most are in Europe.
And strong growth aside, China still represents a new and uncertain market for the group. Many Western travel brands have overpromised on China’s potential and later pulled out or cut back. Thomas Cook’s executive team, though pleased with China thus far and excited about the potential, acknowledges that it is still relatively unknown there.
A Long (and Recent) History
Even though Thomas Cook only started operating in China in September, its history there is longer — and somewhat complex. Sir Thomas Cook, the company’s founder, originally visited China in the mid-1800s and spent 250 days traveling throughout the country. The company’s more recent Chinese business dates to October 2015 when it opened offices in Shanghai and Bejing.
But China ties were formed before even before those offices were established. In March 2015, Fosun, a Chinese conglomerate, took a five percent stake in Thomas Cook Group; it has since upped its ownership to 11 percent. Before the deal with Thomas Cook, Fosun had just acquired all-inclusive resort company Club Med in February 2015 in a separate transaction.
In November 2016, Fosun folded its Thomas Cook and Club Med assets into a combined tourism entity called Fosun Tourism and Culture Group.
Thomas Cook China works with Club Med in China to promote and distribute Club Med resorts through Alibaba’s Fliggy platform and China’s Spring Airlines. “I have to say without Fosun, we would have never been so fast in getting all the applications and licenses,” said Fankhauser. “You need a lot of licenses in China.”
Thomas Cook is counting on Fliggy and Spring to help the brand become more familiar to Chinese consumers. A spokesperson said the operator also attributes the early growth in its outbound Chinese business to its work with Fliggy and Spring.
“We expect this part of the business to be the key driver of growth for China in the future,” the spokesperson said.
