Y’all, is it bad that I’ve been counting my days as, “How many days till MI-8’s “release” date…” Like what do I do after that happens?

Do I just jump back into a dark hole to rot with my hyperfixations, throw myself off a cliff, or try to find something else that peaks my interest to an unhealthy amount… Because I really don’t think anything other than Top Gun is going to match that.

unfortunately my window of opportunity has closed for now regarding this event. since a new round of this event originally garnered so little interest, i moved on to hosting other fandom events and moderating some zines, so right now those are my obligations. normally i would have taken advantage of the movie trailer release (finally, right? it’s been almost two years since i saw it in theatres and now everyone else is finally seeing it), but i don’t think i have the time right now to actually give this event the attention it would need in order to run properly.

maybe in the future once i have some free time again i can see about another interest check.

Hello! I was one of the lucky writers to grab a spot, but I'm wondering if you're open to doing double claims for those who didn't get a chance to grab one. It's something I've seen work for other BB's, but maybe that's a logistical nightmare for you. Just a thought!

i have actually had this come up in bangs past, and when i’ve asked writers if they’d be okay sharing an artist the response has always been a resounding no. a lot of them don’t want to share an artist because they don’t want to write something that is super similar to someone else’s work. 

some artists are also not interested in sharing, it’s a lot less work for them to only have one partner rather than trying to coordinate with two.

When do the holo bundle order's get their PDF sent out?

all pdfs will be sent out via email once all physical orders (not including the reopening) are fulfilled. 

it’s a holiday for us here in the us on wednesday and the post office is closed on that date, so i’ll tentatively say friday, maybe later in the weekend!

How about a thief in the night and a suspecting mark au?

originally thought abt going the psiren route (yk, from fma) but this is cuter, so.

makkachin alerts viktor to smth moving around in the bushes one night; he disregards it and goes back to washing dishes while singing brittany spears; this happens more than once

a few weeks later when viktor gets home from the ice rink he notices a couple of things displaced; when he looks closer he realizes that theres fresh fruit on the counter that he didnt have before, and fresh groceries in his fridge

that same evening, the man only known as eros steals exactly $2226.97 from the local bank; he escapes unscathed, confusing local authorities

a week after that yuukos triplets miraculously have enough money to buy skates and viktor comes home to find a plastic ring from a toy machine sitting on his counter; it’s pink and purple, his favorite

plot twist: its a roleplay viktor noticed before makkachin that a handsome stranger was watching him and decided to let him get close in hope of finding out more about him; it works

I always want to begin by thanking you for hosting this event! I can't believe this will be the 3rd!! I am signing up to be a pinch hitter for the event. The doc the form has only sends me to the artists' numbers and summaries. Since the page of the form mentions pairings and solos, I wanted to double check that this is the right document and if so, if I write "solo #example" thank you for your time!

yes, this is correct! pinch-hitters are to use that document to decide which project they’re willing to work with. 

pairing number refers to the artist number on the doc. unfortunately solo numbers arent available because solo writers haven’t been contacted about a summary yet. as soon as the solo summaries are up i’ll make an announcement post and anyone who wants to volunteer to make art for a solo writer and has already signed up can contact me and i’ll amend the form!
