non-fully ableism related but: adoption. How many movies are about adopted children that behaves weirdly, and how many times when you really think about it it still ends up being about ableism because those children have past trauma that causes their weird behaviour?

I don't want a baby because I have genetics illnesses I wouldn't want to pass on. But if one day I want to be a mom, what are those movies telling me? That I'm damaged goods, that any kid I might adopt is damaged goods, that we're bad. Fuck them.

my goal for communication with my brother is that : everything must be so cryptic and deeply secret coded over things we have laughed about once thirteen years ago or like a funny leaf we saw last week, so deeply coded i say that if i were to reread my own messages to him in a month i would not understand it. OR. full on sentences detailling how we will love each other no matter what and support each other thru the worst thing that could happen in the world and we are, at the same time, both sides of the same coin but also sometimes the same side of same coin and sometimes he's a paper bill and i am the mere concept of venmo and thu it all... we are here for each other
