lancelot doesn't want to let din turn about until he's satisfied with the amount of attention he's able to give in the current configuration. however, din asks. lancelot will always oblige him. he's allowed just enough room to turn, possessiveness still keeping dinadan as close as he can get while still being able to turn.

lancelot's cheek is solid and human beneath dinadan's hand, only little wisps of fog that flutter slowly from lancelot's bangs and coil over dinadan's fingers. that much is normal. lancelot turns his face into dinadan's hand, just briefly kissing the center of his palm before turning back to him. dinadan can pet him if he likes.

"you don't have a choice," lancelot intones casually. of course he's going to join dinadan. he'll be a bit more demanding than dinadan's stated goal of napping would allow, though. if dinadan wants to sleep while lancelot mouths at him, that's fine by him, honestly. and he can hold dinadan closer when they're laying down, once armour has melted away back into shadow and nothingness to leave dinadan's body heat more apparent against lancelot's clothes. a win-win.
