I know the majority of the fandom agrees that Mrs. Burns was likely a great loving mother that died, probably due to illness or complications with Cody’s birth. AND I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE THAT THAT IS MOST LIKELY WHAT HAPPENED.

Let’s say, Mrs. Burns isn’t gone because she died. (It would make sense why they have nothing to remember her by around the house!) Why would she be gone then?

What does the fandom think is the most likely cause of her being out of the picture, if not death?

Okay, so,

I'm a fan of the children's Transformers cartoon, Rescue Bots. And a lot of scenarios come to mind. Espesially with Cody.

I picture Cody as the one kid of the Burns family who was adopted. Meaning, I like to think that he has two families. So, I've decided to come up with ocs to play the part of the bio family, and I wanted to introduce them to you. (I will be posting drawings of them)

His bio dad, Killan Soldiers. A businessman. He works a decent amount, but he makes sure to take time off so he can be with his family. Killan is a loving father, who can and will tell people off if they insult his children in any way, shape, or form. I picture Killan to have blond hair that is short-medium lengthed, and mostly dresses in the comfort of hoodies and soft pants. (Of course, he does wear a suit for work)

His bio mom, Cynthia Soldiers. She has light brown, mid-back lengthed hair, and dresses business-casual. She is petty, stuck up, thinks about herself, and was even arrested after being caught committing arson. I do not see Cody, or really anybody of either family being close with her.

The oldest of the biological family, Cody's older brother, Marcus. Who I picture to be around 21 as of season 4. Marcus is only kind to the people that he respects. Aka, Killan, Cody, Nadia, Cori, Charlie, Graham, and the bots. (Who the Soldiers met from Cody) Marcus has short, but not too short, light brown hair. His personal style is more so soft, but that's really just clothing and accessories, not personality. Marcus is extremely protective of his siblings.

Nadia Soldiers, who the bio fam-Cynthia call 'Nia', is the second oldest. About 17 years old by RB season 4. Nadia has long, brown hair (darker than her mother and Marcus') that she usually keeps in a ponytail. Her personal style gives off the vibe of a tech-guru. Which she is. Nadia is talented with computers, and has educated herself with knowledge on astronomy and explosives. She has a slightly chaotic personality, but she mostly remains calm, and it's kinda hard to fully piss her off.

And lastly, we have Cori, Cody's twin sister. Her style is pretty much the same as Cody's, with the difference being that she likes to accessorize. (Necklaces, earrings, etc.) She is rather mature and intelligent like Cody is, but she doesn't show that side too much. Cori Solfiers like to give off the impression of being an untrustworthy, chaotic, and annoying kid. (She would LOVE getting on Kade's nerves) Cori will mostly style her blonde hair in either pigtails, or a simple braid. It really depends on how active she plans on being throughout the day. Cori would commit a crime to save those she loves.

So, yeah. Those are my ocs that I see as Cody's biological family.

Edit: I was looking back on this and realized I had it as Cody and Cori being 11 in season 4, but looking at the actual show, in season 4 Cody and Frankie are 13-14. So I adjusted their ages to be more so correct.

TFRB Swap AU: Heatwave (updated since my first post)

Heath Wayne Burns (He/him)

Heath was born on Griffin Rock. He was raised there his whole life. His parents were Valeria and Wilson Wayne. He was Cuban on his mother’s side and black on his father’s. When he was growing up, Heath’s parents were supportive and encouraging. They taught him to be a good person and help others. They put him through Lad Pioneers on the island. Valeria was passionate and loud about her opinions. She worked to help charities and support the homeless. She often traveled to the mainland for this work, sometimes taking her son with her. Wilson was more practical and soft-spoken, having a job as an accountant. He did what he could to help the people he serviced. They both dedicated much attention to their young son.

That was, of course, until they died. When Heath was ten years old, robbers broke into their small house. In an attempt to protect him, they were both cut down. Heath saw and blamed himself for not being able to help. The house caught fire in the struggle. The Griffin Rock Rescue Team at the time saved him just in time. He only got to keep a few of his possessions. The older Burns couple adopted him and let him live in the firehouse with them and the team. He slowly grew to love them, acknowledging them as his adoptive mom and dad.

Through high school, he was in a few different teams. He played lacrosse, soccer, basketball, and American football for the school at different times. He made a few friends and wound up dating a few people. His rival was his classmate Chase Dean. Well, it was a one-sided rivalry. He hated Chase for being so intelligent. The teachers favored him and he got lots of attention. Chase couldn’t care less what Heath did.

The Burnses passed away of different causes when he was eighteen. He consequently inherited the firehouse and the Rescue Team. He visited the mainland to train as a firefighter. For a while, he had a different Rescue Team. Most of them had been there for a little while. One of the other newer members was Chase Dean. The team once pointed out that “Heath Wayne” sounded kind of like “Heatwave.” They all started calling him that as a joke, except for Chase. While they had a large team, Heath wound up getting caught in a fire and getting burned. He was scarred physically but got over it. For one reason or another, everyone left the team. Some died, some transferred, some retired and moved away. Eventually, the Griffin Rock Rescue team was literally just Heatwave and Chase.

Fun facts:

He drinks black coffee. But interestingly enough, he prefers tea.

Heath has a tattoo of a wave on his back. There are numbers hidden in the design.

He has his ears pierced. One of his earrings is a shark tooth.

There is a noticeable burn mark on his right arm and leg.

He is bisexual.

He had a body count of 5 by the time he and Chase took over the team. During high school, he played in all the homecoming games. He was dodgeball champ three years running.

Hesth hs killed one person.

Like I like the idea of Cody being something weird with the shape of a human I love and cry over the idea of Graham still being able to turn into a monster or semi-beast form

The idea could be angsty or fluffy

Just imagining him being so tired after a day of work and just wanting to be comfortable, he would take all the blankets of the house, place them in the flour, and then transform into his beast form to sleep like a bear 🥺😩

Or having him with the Bots do a heavy lifting practice and helping Graham learn how to use his new muscle body to not smash someone by accident

Kade is so going to be happy and mad for having competition awjhakjrht

I saw your post about Cody's belongings. I noticed the pictures in the background. There's one of Charlie, a triple set of the brothers, a smaller solo frame of Dani, one of Dani with Cody. (Cute note: the photos have Cody when he was 9-10.) And there's six or seven that are blurry or have a glare. I was wondering if you knew any more about that, or saw any hint of Mrs. Burns.

I’m sure if there was any hint of Mrs. Burns the fandom would have scoped it out by now, lol. Unfortunately I don’t think there is any hint of Mrs. Burns at all in the show, but maybe you could imagine that one or a couple of the blurry pictures has her in it?

I’m impressed with the continuity of these pictures, honestly. It was rather pessimistic of me going into this to assume there would be errors! (And then there’s the layout of the house, which confuses and baffles me beyond belief and does have errors.)

4 pictures along the stairs, emergency phone, pic of Charlie, small blurry pic, three set of the boys (in the same order each time), a long blurry pic underneath it, pic of Dani, pic of what looks like some sort of landscape beside it, two blurry pics, pic of Dani with Cody. The frames are always the same colors too.

While writing, I had another thought about TFRB x AEMH. With how similar Cody and Captain America are, I wouldn't be surprised if someone (Iron Man and Hawkeye) made jokes about Cody being Steve's secret son/grandson, or even an actually clone of Steve. They wouldn't mean it, but I imagine they would love to tease Steve about that.

(Sorry to bug but I had to share this thought because there is so much potential for drama and angst in this AU)

Also, I can't deny that I picture T'challa fascinated as to how similar Griffin Rock is to Wakanda

Thor would be the most confused of everyone actually maybe believing that Cody is actually a descendant from Steve... and I mean, good for Captain America, he fooled the god of thunder.

Okay the Charlie x Carin ask I have (That I will get to tomorrow!) from @gelu-the-babosa-multiversal got me thinking on Charlie’s wife and K, D, G, & C’s mom.

Like, if we’re assuming she was a good person (which I do and I know most of us do!) why don’t the Burns’ have pictures of her around the house?

Like if she was a good mom and wife, didn’t walk out on her family but instead died in an emergency or medical related incident, why is there absolutely no trace of her?

Theory: The loss of his wife was too much for Charlie to process while also caring for 3 young tweens and a baby, so he safely put away all pictures of her so he wouldn’t be reminded of the tragedy every time he saw her face everywhere in the house.

I imagine sometimes he digs out a box of her things late at night and let’s himself cry quietly in remembrance and love for her. He still can’t talk about her without getting emotional and his kids think it’s better not to talk about it (they would all end up crying too) because it’s a hard thing for them all to face, no matter the time between the incident and the present.

And yet Charlie, while also still holding a deep love for his passed wife, has the capability to love again.

Okay so, after looking at genetic calculators, if we want to assume the Burns Siblings™️ are biologically related and all have the same mother, then*:

Mama Burns cannot be a full redhead (0% blond children) or a full blond (0% redhead children).

If she is strawberry blonde, she has a higher chance of having strawberry blond children than straight up blond children.

If she is brunette, there is only a 1% higher chance of her having blond children than strawberry blond, but less chance of her having full redhead children.

Given she had a full redhead child first and then had a reddish-brunette, I’m more inclined to believe she was a strawberry blonde and not a brunette.

And I now firmly believe Graham Burns is not a dirty blond as I had originally thought, but a strawberry blond.

It's been so long since I draw some Cody/Priscilla art!!

I new AU that no one asked for! I called it LostMomGhost AU

After some spooky events, Cody and Priscilla found out that they were adopted by the Lady of Griffin Rock, also known by her real name as Charlotte Wayne.

After decades of looking in the dark for her missing children, Charlotte after seeing how abusive Madelyne can be towards her daughter, and how the Burns family doesn't give Cody much attention, thinks that the best option is to adopt this kids and murder everyone who hurts them (emotionally and fiscal). 😇😈

She gives them her brooch (for Cody) and necklace (for Priscilla) so she can be connected to them if anything happens. Also, the kids slowly discover new things about the island, like other ghosts, monsters, magic, and they developed magic too.

To give matters worst; both Priscilla and Cody discover ghosts of people that were killed by their own families 😅😅

Would you guys want some Rescue Bots Cody Burns and Priscilla Pynch friendship/ship art?

I know that the vast majority of the fan base prefers Priscilla Pynch and Frankie Greene's friendship/ship.

But come on!!!

If you guys think about it, Cody and Priscilla are very similar but in opposite ways.

Even in a way, there designs are opposite.

I will admit, at first I didn't get the hype behind the Cody x Priscilla ship, but your fanart made me change my mind (also, your drawing style is so good)

Also, crack idea: the Burns + bots (minus Cody, cause he already knows her character development) change their perception of her (for good) after she ends up defending them from her mom and just straight confronts her, like su peridot back talking to YD. Being the spoiled kid of a villain doesn't make you a bad person automatically

Nothing's been stated. More than one thing can be canon if a Fandom believes enough.

I feel like it would be mutual for some reason. Personally I think they'd be hurt and never talk about her for that reason. I feel like they'd be a little different if they'd been abused but hey possibilities.

My favorite theory is she died after having Cody. I've prepared a whole.backstory. And that would be VERY angsty. Keep in mind: if she died giving birth to Cody, Graham, Dani, and Kade were 10, 11, and 12 respectively. (If I'm correct.) That's super angsty. Also Charlie is super busy with being the chief. So throughout their teen years, the older sibs were helping raise Cody while also missing their mom. Maybe they never talk about it because it's so painful AND MOSTLY they don't want Cody to feel guilty.

Theory I don't take for canon but also love: some or all of the kids are adopted/have different moms.

I've seen this theory since they look so different. Also to explain why Cody's so much younger. But we know Cody grows up to look almost exactly like his dad. Dani has genes from his side because she looks so much like Bertha. We can still assume Kade and Graham are their full siblings. But we have no proof.

I do believe they have the same mom and dad. But one of my favorite theories is that they were put in a box. Many fire stations have "baby boxes." These are safe and secure boxes on the walls where parents can leave a baby they can't take care of. It's totally legal and far safer for the baby than leaving them on a doorstep.

Wouldn't it be cute if the Burnses (or just Charlie) kept adopting the babies they found?
