Everyone be talking about “The Perfect Decepticon” and I’m over here like “Hey, actually it’s bullshit that ‘The Immobilizers’ didn’t give Soundwave the chance to beat the absolute shit out of Soundblaster. Soundblaster spends like 80% of that special torturing him and hurting his pet. And when both Soundwave and Lazerbeak finally get free, Lazerbeak disappears into the ether and Soundwave immediately gets immobilized again. Like, what was the point of setting up this whole one-sided rivalry and establishing Soundblaster as a pathetic insecure bastard who probably wouldn’t stand a chance against Soundwave, and who for that reason keeps Soundwave paralyzed, beats him and then puts him in a torture device where he can’t use his greatest weapon (sound) if you’re not gonna give us the catharsis of Soundwave dragging Soundblaster’s helm through the dirt at the end of it?”

how do you think tfc soundblaster would’ve reacted if that one quintesson guy had tried to ”collect” him having mistaken soundblaster for soundwave

actually, do we know for sure that some of the “soundwaves” in that guy‘s collection weren’t actually “soundblasters”? or maybe even just autobot blasters?
