Bernard Madden is the great grandpa of Ben Madden. He was a gunsmith born and raised in Teufort but went to Albuquerque with his wife Mildred to start a family. They both returned to Teufort to retire well kinda. Mildred works in a bakery and that bakery still stands today, you can even see her picture in the bakery. Bernard meanwhile worked as a independent gunsmith and was recognized for his talent, both Redmond and Bluartch wanted to hire him but he declined and was overall a dick to them, no one knew why he was an asshole to only them. He was a grumpy old man yet only a bitch to the Mann brothers.

I made a Ben and Saxton Hale fusion, it took awhile to be happy with the design but I think this is good!

Do you have any writing on how Ben and Saxton first met?

Yes I do!

Ben first moved to Teufort a few weeks after he turned 18 to sell his weapons (4 hours away from his home town Albuquerque) after a few months word got around of the new weapon craftsman and how high quality his weapons were. Eventually Saxton picked up on the news and decided to go to Teufort market to see this for himself.

He did not expect a 5'1 skinny kid to be the craftsman but decided to challenge him as he heard Ben loved taking up challenges. He decided to challenge him to build a tank and Ben accepted.

A few months later the tank was built and from there Saxton became a regular to commission Ben, eventually offering him a job at Mann Co. as a weapons designer and craftsman which Ben only took part time as he loved selling weapons on his own and getting commissions and challenges. Eventually a strong friendship was formed between the two, Saxton even being the first (and last) to give Ben his first alcoholic drink once he turned 21 (Ben ended up drinking only half and getting so drunk to where he started crying and would not be apart from Saxton, the alcohol wasn't even that strong.)

Of knowing each other and their friendship/relationship it's been 4 years.

I wrote more then you asked about them sorry, I just love their friendship (plus I do ship em)

What would Ben get into arguments over, and would he consider himself to be a petty person?

Ben would get into arguments with people over a certain type of weapon/ if they try to talk shit about his friend (Saxton)

He wouldn't consider himself petty but more passionate (he's a little petty)

Does Ben have a sweet tooth or would he prefer spicier foods?

Major sweet tooth, he LOVES Brigadeiro and other chocolate goodies though he also likes some spicy food.
