As someone with sensitive and dry skin, this summer is only getting hotter and as someone who lives in a hot and humid country, I took my skin care to a new level for it to adapt to this environment! .ೃ࿐ Skin Type: Sensitive Skin (face) Dry and Sensitive Skin (body) LONG READ AHEAD! 🍯🩰🧸🪡

୨⎯ MORNING ROUTINE ⎯୧(DURING BATH) 🛁🫧🌅 -Before anything else, I cleanse my skin with an anti bacterial soap. ↳Product that I used is a local antibacterial soap (Safe guard). You can use anything as long as it gets rid of the build up first.

-I use a body scrub only twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday) to get ride of the clogged dirt in my pores and remove the dead skin cells and product build up and overall just leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean and improve my skin texture. ↳Product that I used is Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt and Body Scrub/ Human Nature Volcanic Cooling Body Scrub

-I never forget my shower gel and I always love how affordable and gourmand this smell is! ↳Product that I used is Bath and Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake Moisturizing Body Wash

-Next up is lotion. As someone who has scars on my legs growing up from bites and battle scars (me tripping and falling and scarring my legs) it has hindered me. Hydration and proper knowledge with ingredients that can help scars fade is a must. I believe Niacinamide and Vit. C has great contribution with lightening those scars.↳Product that I used is Avon's Green Papaya and Calamansi Lotion/ Vaseline UV Extra Brightening Nourishing Niacinamide Lotion

-Can't forget about my fragrance. I alternate gourmand and flowery and powdery scents. I mostly use fragrance mists! ↳Product that I used is Fairytale by BnBW, JOY by BnBW, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte by BnBW. I use a oil-based perfume its Cassiopeia and I love it so much! ୨⎯ MORNING ROUTINE ⎯୧(FACE SKIN CARE ROUTINE) -I usually do not wash my face with cleanser but I only wash it with water. (Ik this is controversial but this has been my routine since I was still a teenager.)

-I use an ice cube that I froze over night to depuff my eyes (eyes only!)

-I apply my moisturizer. This moisturizer really hydrated my skin especially this summer. It has a lot ingredients that can help you with hydration and at the same time making your skin youthful and glowing! It is lightweight and just perfect for this summer!↳Product that I used is Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream -I apply my sunscreen. Genuinely love this sunscreen, the only sunscreen that didn't make me breakout! Never ever forget sunscreen! ↳Product that I used is Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+ PA++++

-Next is my face mist/facial spray. Gotta keep the skin hydrated and fresh! ↳Product that I used is Evian Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray.

I always keep my morning routine simple since it's hot and humid here. I also bring with me a bottle of water and keep aware of what I eat and avoid eating foods that are oily and cause allergic reactions to my skin. ༉‧₊˚.

୨⎯ EVENING ROUTINE ⎯୧ (DURING BATH) 🛁🫧🌆 -Still the same from above! I just do not overdo my scrubbing part and keep my skin hydrated! -୨⎯ EVENING ROUTINE ⎯୧(AFTER BATH/SKIN CARE FOR FACE) -Double cleansing your skin is that it removes the make up/sunscreen as well as remove those dirt that has built up through out the day. It also helps with absorption of your serums and other moisturizing products.↳Product that I used is Banila Clean it Zero cleansing Balm and Senka Perfect whip for cleansing foam

-I cannot forget my serum! Gotta love how lightweight this is and how it brightened up my dark spots! It has 5% niacinamide and love how this niacinamide worked and saved my skin.↳Product that I used is Axis Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum

-Another serum that I cannot gate keep is this local brand/product in my country! It's Cica Skin Repair Serum Soothing Gel from Ever Organics. You can find any alternative skin care serums/gels that has cica as I swear that this ingredient has helped me with my reddish spots and helped me stop my break out! I genuinely love love this product.

-For spot treatment, I use this only when I have breakouts (I rarely have breakouts nowadays, probably during period days only!) ↳Product that I used Face Republic Calming Spot Oint Gel (I only bought the sachet one)

I think it's essential for us to take care of our body, not just our skin. Our body is our temple and we must good care of it. It's never too late to start and take care of your body. Take care of yourself not to impress others but as a form of self love. I think we should remember and remind ourselves to love and appreciate ourselves. ₍ ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ₎˚୨୧

this got a bit long but here you go:

for procreate:

edited dry ink brush link - for sketching/lining/coloring/etc

the only thing different from the default should be that it's edited so it doesn't change size based on pen pressure and only changes opacity, since i have problems w/ my wrist/shoulder that make it difficult to control pen pressure more delicately & i end up drawing in more line thickness myself or using the eraser to make lines thinner/sharper. if that's not a problem for you, i think you can just use the default brush (?)

default gel pen (also found under inking) - for sketching, sometimes (note i do use sketches as my lines, and either clean them up or color over them as i go)

watercolor/damp brushes - for shading or for more watercolor style art

i tend to use maxpack watercolor flow (not free), but the all-star watercolor round (free) or sinix's damp brush (also free) are fine alternatives. any watery brush with textures/flow should work? these are just the ones i keep using because i personally vibe with them and have them on at least one of my gesture shortcuts

for paint tool sai 2:

i use a pencil and marker brush with the below settings:

tbh i think my process itself gives my art more of its style than the brushes so you can also look through these (they're sai2 files* and some videos from procreate) + i have uploaded the kokomi and phantom procreate process vids on insta

*my favorite layer mode happens to be "shade/shine" in sai2 but it also happens to be the one layer mode not found in literally any other program ive tried and the files do not look as they should in other programs ><;;;

and here's a very short version of what i do on procreate:

i didn't demo it here but you can probably see this in the videos:

i usually lower opacity of the flats and make the BG a colored bg and use a lot of overlay layers to give it the general mood/colors i want.

i also change the lines/sketch layer after coloring in the flats -- i change the color, duplicate it and set one layer to 1-5% opacity+linear burn and the other to 30-90% opacity+color burn

And it's making me think. What are the gels like. How do they smell/taste and what are their consistencies

Repulsion gel

Smell: sweet, but in a sickening flowery artificial way. Very rubbery.

Consistency: thick, gooey, you can't just get a small amount of it out of the dispenser because it just piles out.

Taste: well, it was a dietary pudding. Probably very sweet again, in the same mildly gross artificial way. Blue raspberry flavor?

Propulsion gel

Wasn't it like another thing meant to be ingested? 😰

Probably very similar to repulsion gel, but less of a rubbery smell, a tiny bit more watery too. Orange flavor

Conversion gel...

Smell: either scentless, or something sulfur-y.

Consistency: horrifically watery and wet and gross

Taste: horrible bitter sour thing. Have a nice funeral bro

USE JAPANESE SUNSCREEN!!

American and European sunscreens are so bad 🤮🤮 disgusting and sticky and stinky... if your objection to sunscreen is that it feels like torture to wear it then you've most likely only tried the bottom of the barrel garbage that you can get at the store. Japanese sunscreen is usually way thinner and less intrusive.

Japanese sunscreen is also more rigorously tested and updated and usually provides a more specific PA rating for protection against UVA (as opposed to just UVB, measured by SPF). For certain legal regulation reasons American sunscreen is usually pretty behind the curve when it comes to new sunscreen innovations. A lot of East Asian women are kinda neurotic about sunscreen so it's treated as a bigger deal compared to America.

(if you are vain, sunscreen is the #1 anti-aging product and will do more for you than any other skincare product or surgery 😉)

My recommendation: Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence... easy to buy online, refreshing gel-like texture, on the cheaper side compared to other sunscreens

The only caveat is that since these sunscreens stay on your skin better, it can be a little hard to wash off at night—the best way is to use an Asian oil cleaner (my recommendation: Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil) but in a pinch you can also use a micellar water from American stores

Unlike regular watery toners, this one has a slightly thicker, milky texture, almost like a serum and it's incredibly lightweight, and moisturizing at the same time if you know what I mean haha. Sometimes, I find myself just layering this with a lightweight gel cream and sunscreen, and I'm good to go. It's incredibly hydrating, which is perfect for my dehydrated skin, it's like my skin drinks it up instantly. The sunscreen does have a very subtle lavender tint.

It definitely is a milky gel, it has a slightly watery texture.

It does leave skin looking brighter and more luminous.

This sunscreen does have a bit of a white cast though, so I'd recommend this to people with lighter skin tones.

Recommended use is to apply an appropriate amount to the face and body, massage it into the skin to blend it, and then pat it for better absorption. This can also be used as a makeup base. Be sure to reapply often, especially with sun exposure and sweating. To remove, wash thoroughly with facial cleanser or body wash. After using, this sunscreen contains artificial fragrance and an essential oil. The scent isn't that noticeable but it could definitely be an irritant. The sunscreen is very lightweight and does blend into the skin pretty well, but I will say it can get stuck in your eyebrows and hairline and most likely any facial hair you have, I did feel like it was easy to tone down after massaging it in thoroughly. I noticed that it's quite easy on the eyes, I didn't notice any irritation there and the ingredients are quite lovely. This sunscreen is very gentle, despite having some irritants, it's also hydrating and doesn't emphasize dry patches on the skin. This also applies pretty well every couple of hours but it can flake away, so I would use a facial spray and let it dry down, and then apply the sunscreen for reapplications. This can pill up and bunch if too much is applied at a time as well. Overall it's a very good tone-up sunscreen. I'd recommend this to anyone with dull skin looking to brighten it up, people with normal to dry skin, and to people with lighter skin tones.

What I like: this sunscreen is pretty gentle and hydrating. It's also brightening and doesn't irritate the eye area. The ingredients are very nice and nourishing to the skin and this can be reapplied pretty easily. What I don't like: there are some irritants as well as fragrance and this can pill up if too much is used without properly blending it in. It can also get caught in facial hair.
