okay. so i had this whole idea where Wilbur and Quackity were rivals in law school. Quackity goes on to become a lawyer and Wilbur just becomes a trophy wife to his girlfriend/wife. They fall out of contact.

Years later, Quackity receives a case. Wilbur's case. Wilbur's wife had an episode and tried to kill their daughter. And that's his daughter I mean he would do anything for her so he killed his wife.

Quackity has to take on the case. Try and get Wilbur out on a self defense plea. But he was the only witness besides his daughter. it's hard to believe that a man wouldn't just kill his wife and try to lie about her abusing him to get away with it.

Wilbur obviously doesn't want Tallulah to tesitfy, she's a child who watched her mother get murdered thats hard. So Wilbur gives Niki's number to Quackity so he can call her up to testify due to the fact she's the only one who knows about the abuse.

and just agh so many parallels with children and familial relationships. i've been going into wilbur and his daughter and the parallels with quackity and his dead child and comparing them both to Jaiden, who lives with Niki and wants to help, and her two children, Bobby who is dead and Empanada who is alive. its just ahhhhhghgh.

Random trivia upon Shuichi Saihara? He’s mushy, bashful, meek, and a poet all rolled into one- only visible to the ones who find it in themselves to date the little guy.

Shuichi Saihara... loathes public affection, even hand-holding gets his face to heat up- just like some firework shooting up into the sky. He’s not all one for PDA, gets uncomfortable at it really, he’s not experienced with this romance thing. He just got some chocolate from this girl once...

But on the plus side he’s the gentlest person you’ll ever meet, his kisses are chaste and gentle, he’ll always try his best to make them straight and towards the point. He’s always flustered after kissing though... hnnng... it’s obvious to see too, he gets all bashful, his face gets red. It’s adorable to see how he gets all mushy.

That’s why he prefers forehead kisses, butterfly kisses...cheek smooches... things where the iniative isn’t that “bold”, he’s thankful whenever you hold his hand while he kisses you though, or hug him. It’s best to reassure him that he did his best and he’s becoming a better kisser as time passes by.

It’s embrassing, to admit at least.... it’s very unlikely for him to make any moves, he’s a gentlemen- he doesn’t want to be rude- but if the situation after he analyazes it enough seeing that it’s a perfect moment for a peck on the cheek... or even the lips, he’ll try to go for it.

yesterday, when i saw posts about the death of peggy lipton at 72, who i had only known from twin peaks, i read she had also starred in the mod squad. and i was like...wait. the original mod squad? the one victor guest starred in (which is the only reason i know about the show). and yes, peggy was the girl from mod squad trio. in the episode with victor she steals valuable information from him, a mafia boss, and he tries to get her drugged and killed through a doctor he blackmails so she can’t tesitfy against him in court. i guess i also thought she was like, ten years younger than she was. which made me realize that she was only eight years younger than victor and not a teenager in the episode as i previously thought. 

she was 26 in that episode and played a teenager and victor was 34 and played older as usual.

Never went to court. Court is too expensive and Pace wasn’t budging. They would not pay a settlement. I sued for two and a half million dollars and we fought for about two years. My lawyers didn’t think they could win in the end, even though I had a case with lots of evidence. It was a mix of emails, letters, and meetings between my lawyers and Pace’s lawyers. Pace got away with everything, including victim blaming me. The 3rd year anniversary of the rape is on valentines day. It’s coming right up. I don’t know how I’m going to put this behind me. All this time I’ve had the lawsuit documents saved on my computer, I have the hard copies of all of the emails sent out on my shelves, I have pages of money spent on doctor visits on my dresser. All of the documents, just a click away. And somehow I need to accept that it’s over. My last hope is the OCR but under a trump administration I don’t think I’ll see it get resolved. Maybe it’ll happen, maybe it won’t.

The terrible life of Lena Luthor

And why I love her so much and she deserves the world.

First, let’s keep in mind that canonically Lena’s only 24 years old, according to the show’s timeline.

Now, in season 2 Lena was in 12 episodes. During those episodes, she was in danger/manipulated/hurt (physically and emotionally) 37 times.  Specifically, she almost died 8 times and in 5 of those times she was the target. She was hit once and knocked down and kidnapped twice.

Her own bother was the one behind the attempts against her life at the beginning . She was also constantly manipulated and lied to by her mother and later by her new mother figure/mentor. So it’s usually people close to her and people that she cares about  who end up hurting her.

Let’s also remember that the events of season two happened in less than a year! I wonder how she seems so unfazed by all of her trauma. You would think she would at least have some kind of PTSD by now. Then again, this show hasn’t been great at tackling this subject.

Also, from what we’ve seen of season three this trend of her almost dying and getting hurt isn’t going to stop. What does she have to do to get a break?! I think it’s fair to say that Lena seriously needs a therapist and a bodyguard. Also all the love.

Let’s break down everything she’s been through (that we know) and who she is despite all of that. With gifs!

- Her biological mother died when she was four.

- Lionel lied to her and never told her he was her biological father.

- Was given the cold shoulder by Lillian and was constantly manipulated and reminded that she wasn’t a real Luthor.

- The brother she loved turned out to be evil.

- After her brother went to jail and she took over Luthor Corp her boyfriend at the time made her choose between him and her family’s company.

Now, during the show:

29. By creating a transmatter portal indirectly helped an alien invasion.

30. Got kidnapped again, by her mentor.

31. Her DNA was collected without her consent to make a child.

32. Her children’s hospital was threatened so she would agree to marry someone.

33. The ship were she was being held captive was ordered to be shoot-down by the president.

34. Was rescued with the help of her mother only for her friend to be betrayed and for her to be let down again.

35. Was manipulated by her mother once again. Poor thing never learns

36. Was almost betrayed by her mother once again. She learns sometimes. (Lillian did take all the credit in the end so…)

37. Found a way to save humanity but ended up hurting her best friend in the process (she will feel guilty about it according to spoilers)

All of this. Just 12 episodes. And  after all of this you would think she would snap or be a very bitter and angry person. I wouldn’t even blame her. But she’s not. Instead of that?

She’s the smartest, sweetest and softest person in that damn show. She’s always been.

1. I mean, she decided to move to National City, leaving her whole life and Jack behind just so she could change the direction and reputation of her company. Make it into something good. 

2. She’s a pretty busy CEO but she’s always willing to help. 

3. She has saved many people, often putting herself in danger. She’s a badass.

4. She’s always using her intelligence and resoruces to find ways to help the world.

5. She also uses her money and power for good things. 

6. She’s a really supportive friend. 

 7. And she’s just the nicest human being. An amazing person overall. 

Isn’t she the best? How can you not love her? She always, always, keep fighting and doing good things. She has made some mistakes and has doubt herself and her goodness. She has had her dark moments but that hasn’t stopped her from choosing to do the right thing over and over again. 

Despite that and for some reason there’s people, in-universe and fans, who still don’t trust her. Just because of her last name. She might snap someday, I wouldn’t put it past the writers and even though I think it would be a terrible decision that would send an awful message and that would ruin her character development I would still be behind her 100%. I would totally understand, especially if they’re going to continue torturing her. 

She’s such a complex character, full of motivations, and flaws and emotions. She makes mistakes, she learns, she grows. She has so many different traits that makes her who she is and such an interesting backstory, but she’s also so much more than just another Luthor..

I think she’s really well written and Katie plays her so damn well. Her character development has been great. I think that’s a big reason  why she became a fan favorite. She is definetely one of the highlights of season two, by far and I can’t wait to see where they’re taking her in season 3. She has so much potential. Just, please, STOP HURTING HER.
