you looked at your watch, 22:17 it read. a cold wind flew by causing goosebumps to erupt on the back of your neck. your boyfriend was to go to Japan for a shoot. though the trip would only last around a week, you couldn't help but miss him already. thus, here you were, a night before he was supposed to take off, in front of his dorm, waiting for him to come down.

"y/n?" you heard a voice. you turned around and saw taehyun. he was wearing a black hoodie, and on his head rested a beanie. you walked towards him and pulled him in an embrace. taehyun hugged you back slowly rubbing your back.

you broke the hug after some time. "what happened baby? you fine?" he asked and you suddenly felt too embarrassed to admit that you were missing him. so much that you couldn't concentrate on your work at all since the evening. so much that you couldn't take it anymore and just rushed to his dorm. so much that you completely forgot to take a jacket or just anything to keep you warm on this cold night. so much that right now, just being in his arms made you want this moment to never end.

"nothing. i just- wanted to see you, i guess" you replied chuckling awkwardly. taehyun grinned taking your hand in his and walking towards you guys' favorite spot.

"your hands are cold" he said, softly rubbing his thumb on yours. "yeah they get cold easily" you replied. taehyun noticed your ears getting red and stopped walking. he then took off his beanie and put it on your head. after setting it, he held your cheeks that were cold and pale due to the winds and kissed your forehead making you smile.

"missed me?" he asked still holding your face. you nodded as you couldn't lie when he's looking like that at you. taehyun smirked "aww my baby" he cooed and you smiled, now crimson creeping up your cheeks.

both of you walked around the block, hand-in-hand in silence, the comfortable silence. when you reached the dorm, a wave of sadness and nostalgia washed over you. it was already time for him to leave. he would've stayed with you for the night, but if he stayed with you, you would've never wanted him to leave and taehyun who couldn't deny you, would've gotten late for his flight. so maybe it was for the better.

"thank you" you said "for taking your time out for me at this late hour." taehyun turned to face you, a neutral expression on his face and said, "i'm not 'taking' my time out for you. my time is yours, i'm just spending it with you." taehyun then smiled warmly and kissed you on the lips before going back to the dorm leaving you flustered and satisfied.

notes: my 2nd post yeey and ik its very short, might not even be considered a fanfic but this is what i can get in my head at this moment so you gotta bear with it lol. also idk what to put it in title so its just random words. (pls share some writing tips if u have any)

Today was the day. No more excuses. You’d been putting off starting your morning jog routine for weeks—maybe months. But this morning, everything aligned. You woke up on time. The weather was perfect. Cool, crisp air and a sky so clear it felt like the universe was making it an ideal starter's day for you.

You pulled on your grey leggings and matching sweatshirt, grabbed a water bottle, and stepped outside. The air hit you like a refreshing slap. Why hadn’t you done this sooner? The rhythm of your feet on the pavement, the steady hum of your breath and the quiet city morning—it felt right.

You decided to follow the common route along the Han River. Three kilometers. Should be easy. The water shimmered in the early light. You were almost done when you glanced at your right hand.

The bracelet was gone.

Your heart skipped. That wasn’t just any bracelet. It held importance to you. You stopped mid-stride, scanning the ground. Nothing. Did it slip off? When? Where?

Just as panic started to set in, someone approached. A man, about your age. He looked familiar, but you couldn’t place him. Tank top, running shorts, and undeniably good-looking. His forehead had beads of sweat all over and his hair stuck to it in a visually appealing pattern. His eyes glowed hazel in the morning light and when they settled on you, you felt your heartbeat suddenly increase.

He slowed to a stop a few feet away, holding something in his hand.

“Is this, by any chance, yours?” he asked, holding out a bracelet. Your bracelet to be precise

Relief washed over you. “Yes! Thank you,” you said, taking it from him. His fingers brushed yours, just for a second.

“I saw it fall a little ways back,” he said, nodding toward the path. “Thought you might want it back.”

You smiled, slipping the bracelet back on. “I really do. Thank you.”

He grinned, easy and warm. “No problem. Maybe I’ll see you around here again...?” he said with a tint of question in his tone, eyes lingering a little longer—almost looking hopeful.

You smiled back and nodded making the guy grin again. "I'm Yeonjun by the way, see you tomorrow!" he said and with that, he was off, jogging down the path. You watched him for a moment, then turned back toward home. The bracelet felt secure on your wrist. The morning felt brighter. Maybe this time, you'd keep your promise of the morning routine.
