Terry Silver taking Beloved to meet his parents?
Tumblr media
---
-”Tell me again — how do I get them to like me, Terry? Really like me?”-
You inquire, worried, scooting closer to Terry on the backseat of the Rolls Royce headed north, out to the country, on a long drive from Beverly Hills, LA, to seemingly nowhere, until you felt like you were trapped in the opening scene of The Shining, on a winding road expanding endlessly into the vista, obscured only by the chauffeur’s head manning the vehicle endlessly forward on what seemed like a five hour drive. Terry chuckles, from beside you, giving you a smile veiled in smoke as he set down his cigar, crushing it in the ashtray filled with residue. -”The very fact they want to see you —  you think the old Methuselahs invite just anyone out here, huh?”- He cocks his head to one side, giving you a long, lingering look that offered no comfort given the situation. Yeah. But, why you? Somehow, the very fact these supposedly unbelievably rich and equally reclusive individuals wanted to meet you, of all people posed more questions than it offered answers. Truth of the matter was, it frightened you a little. You legitimately thought Terry’s parents were long since dead until he mentioned they’re very much alive and wanted — no — ordered the two of you up here. It was like receiving an invitation from the nether realm, even though you tried very hard to be, as they say, a good sport about it all. For Terry’s sake. And yours. You just couldn’t wrap your head around the idea of what type of people Terry’s parents would be. -”Last time they came down from the estate was in 1965.”- He remarks, snorting, and you realized it was meant to be a joke to portray just how exclusive this visit was, but still. You couldn’t help but comment back, almost stuttering. It was 1981 now. With some basic math involved, that meant that —
-”That’s…almost twenty years ago.”-
You manage, confused and feeling a bit lost. That couldn’t be right. Was it?
Terry gives you an unblinking look, confirming that in fact, it was.
You understood they were richer than god, probably fully retired and had no need to go out because they had an army of staff doing and procuring everything for them, but did these people simply never leave their mansion? Never? To the degree it was easy to write them off as dead? You’d almost prefer if they were simply the ordinary manner of wealthy people you saw around Los Angeles on the daily. At least that way, you probably wouldn’t feel the anxiety pushing down on your spine to the point you the shiver running up and down your back was turning into the slightest tremor of shaking. Terry’s hand is on your shoulder, caressing you there, soothing you. A proverb slips across his lips like an antidote to your concerns and you sigh, melting into his touch. -”Action expresses priorities.”- Terry coos. You nod, trying to reassure yourself, staring ahead, towards the highway, telling yourself that maybe Terry’s family didn’t like socializing with just anyone merely for the sake of socializing. Maybe they liked being very specific. Yeah, specific. That they hand picked their company very exactly precisely because they could afford to be picky and to gatekeep. Perhaps you’d do the same if you had as much money as they did. Or maybe it was merely the fact that you felt the pressure of the whole world on your shoulders due to the fact that you were picked by them when they’re so exclusive and worry washes over you once more with the ever lingering question; What if I can’t impress them? Terry’s words come slithering back into your headspace like a shadow.
They don’t invite just anyone out here.
So, what on earth did he tell them about you?
For them to issue an invitation your way in the first place?
Terry smiles, all full lips and certainty and you feel the road ahead drift into the skyline.
The estate the car pulls up in front of is massive — with something positively old world to its style of architecture and if you didn’t know any better, you’d imagine you just stepped out in front of some manor in the south of France somewhere, its size undoubtedly rivaling that of Terry’s Mayan temple of a mansion back in Los Angeles, perhaps the only difference being is that Terry’s adobe overlooked everything, standing there, atop of Beverly Hills like the crown jewel of the city itself. This place stood alone, with nothing around it for miles and miles except tracts of wood, land and lawns. A massive iron gate encircling all of it and a fence that stretched unto infinity, the main entrance adorned with a singular decorative and rather ornate S that parts into two halves as the colossal turnstile barrier opened automatically, letting the vehicle pass through, heading towards the vast, empty grassy plateau. You sat there, looking around, through the windows, mouth slightly agape. There was nobody here, except a single figure in the distance, standing in front of the white marble steps of the behemoth of a house. -”Ma!”- Terry perks up from his seat, gripping your hand and vehemently tapping the veneer separating the chauffeur’s booth from the backseat, signaling for him to halt. Once he does, out the door it is, Terry ushering you forward, briskly, wide stride and all, towards the house. His mother? Was that his mother? Your heart starts thumping wildly. Her figure becomes clearer, all elegant lines and good posture as she extends her arms to receive him in a hug. Becomes apparent she was just as tall as him, even at what seemed like an advanced age.
You understood where he got it from now.
She smiles with immaculately white teeth once she’s done fussing him, turning her attention to you instead and she immediately reminds you of an aged, statuesque Hedi Lamar. Before you even have a chance to say anything, she already eclipses you, speaking first. So happens, her eyes were also blue. Just like his. Just as poignant and sharp. The way she gripped your wrist was just like Terry’s grip too. -”Terrence hasn’t brought anyone out here since John. But then again, we only ever ask he bring the really important ones.”- She laughs and you feel your brows perk up. Terry brought nobody here since John Kreese? When? Post-war? Years after the war? Has nobody qualified for a visit since? -”Which means, it’s safe to say you’re our in-law to be.”- She grabs both of your arms and gives them a good, affectionate squeeze, her words eliciting a doubt of laughter out of Terry. In-Law? Funny how in your gut, you thought the very opposite would happen; that they’d summon you out here to tell you how quite unworthy you were, but the acceptance doesn’t relieve any pressure. They wanted you to marry Terry? Well, you wanted to yourself, of course you did. More than anything in the world, but you never figured his parents would be quite so — what’s the word — vehement? Willing? You chuckle, awkwardly, feeling you have to say something. Anything. Finding yourself stumbling over your own tongue. -”I mean, there’s time for that. I’d love to, but there’s time.”- You shake your head, feeling bashful as you smiled, feeling your cheeks burn up with anxiety, deciding to water it all down and extinguish it with some common courtesy.
-”Lovely to meet you.”-
You manage and Terry’s mother and Terry give you a joint, matching smile, pointing towards the massive, imposing steps leading up to the house while the chauffeur parked behind you made himself busy with the vehicle. The entrance to the gothic looking structure that was the house still far enough to where it seemed that there was quite a bit of walking left to reach it. How big was this place. A man stood at the entrance, grim and as tall as a stick, smoking and smartly dressed, hair lined with silver. He seemed in a proper foul mood, even from afar. You gulp. -”You see that over there?”- She points to him, cheekily, with a discreet little finger of her long, elegant index finger, the Stepford smile never leaving her of Terry’s face. That’s about Terry’s own cue to separate from you, let go of your arm and go and greet the individual with a leisurely stride. An internal part of you almost begs not to be left alone, hoping he’d hear it.
 -”That’s Terrence’s father.”-
She explains rather jovially and you feel yourself blink rapidly.
Why hasn’t he come over to say hello?
-”He’s not really vocal, you’ll excuse him. Hasn’t been since Terrence decided to up and leave for the whole Vietnam thing.”-
She adds as she entwined her arms with yours, almost as if reading the doubts etched on your face, leading you and locking you in place, walking at a relaxed slow pace. Your eyes shoot up towards the man whose face was comprised of all hard lines, joints and high cheekbones, dressed in black and as Terry stood there, greeting him, you imagined that in twenty years time, he might look like that too. Not vocal, though? What did that even mean? Did it mean he simply never forgave Terry for going off to war, leaving his family and obligations behind to the point he just…didn’t really speak anymore? Oh. The old man’s cold blue eyes meet yours for a second in the midst of Terry acknowledging him and you manage a tiny smile the well dressed, aging patriarch’s way, before looking away as quickly as possible. You really felt you were out of your depth here. -”But, I’ve been tasked to be his mouthpiece in greeting and welcoming you today. He told me to relay a special message your way.”- You perked up, meeting the eyes of Mrs. Terry Silver as you strolled together, managing a small grin. Suddenly, she halts in front of the looming house, giving you a very direct and poignant look, her roughed up, flawlessly, sharply drawn out red lips moving to speak with great distinction and emphasis.
-”You won’t sign a prenuptial because we don’t do divorce.”-
Wait? What?
Before your mind could ever process that, you’re interrupted by Terry’s cackle emanating from where he was standing with a grim looking Silver Sr. on the marble porch. What did that even mean? ‘They don’t do divorce’? You feel your legs stiffen.
 -”Ma! You’re a sweetheart!”-
He chortles at her, his hands clapping at what you could only assume was a bit of dark humor, even though your gut instinct was telling you neither of them were joking, involving the non vocal senior head of the house. They really didn’t practice divorce. And they were letting you know. Long before you ever even married to the son. Terry’s mother’s arm ushers you forward, not unkindly, but with a grip that insinuated she had no intention of letting you go. The uniformed butler appears on the doorway and that’s your collective signal to move on inside, into the foyer. Mrs. Silver speaks, all charm, irregardless of how faint you felt.
-”Ah! That means the entree is ready! Come inside, please.”-

I feel like Margaret and Milo definitely raised terry like he was there child I mean yeah his father and mother were in his life but I know they only ever wanted him to take over the company and “become a man” Margaret and Milo were like his parent that tell him to follow his dreams and try to get him to take over cobra Kai with kreese but because Terry father knew that Terry and John definitely didn’t have a normal friendship(they were gay as hell everybody knew) he told Terry to take over the company forget about cobra Kai and his time in nam and definitely forget about kreese or he won’t get any inheritance so Kreese won’t get his dojo

I have no idea if that's a significant milestone for other people, but it is for me, so thank you to everyone for reading and reblogging and making requests - you've made me very happy and have also shifted my priorities from practicing my presentation for Tuesday to fulfilling requests like my life depends on it! 😭❤️

What are the Silvers like as parents? I loved that ask you answered saying how they pile in for a snuggle in bed. Is Terry strict with the pups? Is Daniel? Are the pups aware of secondary genders? I'd love to know your thoughts on what Terry and Daniel are like as Mama and Daddy (I think you refered to Daniel as Mama but please correct me if you see it as a different name).
We kind of know what Daniel and Terry are like as parents, though, don't we? Daniel is very nurturing, which people expect of omegas anyway, but it seems to be that spending quality time with them is also very high on his list. He plays a lot of soccer with the little ones, he has them help him around the house and garden (even if there isn't much actual help going on), all the crafts, too, especially. And there's constant hugging, and bathtime games. But much as he loves all of that, he couldn't of course ever do it alone so there's a lot of people around the house interacting with the family.
And they're mostly Terry's people -
And all Terry's people know that there are Rules.
Terry's very affectionate with his puppies, and he likes taking them out to give Daniel some rest. They're together on outings, but on weekends especially Terry tires the puppies out to save Daniel some energy for some quality sexytimes. He tosses them all over the place and lets them climb all over him and tickles them and playfights them and tells old Irish stories and sings songs and they love him -
But what Daddy says goes, end of discussion. (They do actually discuss it a lot, Daniel and Terry, but day to day Terry simply acts on what they've agreed upon before.)
And because Daddy says they have to mind their elders, Mama especially, they mind Mama as well as they mind Daddy. And since everybody else minds Daddy, that seems like the most natural thing in the world to them. The man knows everything, and lets them get away with nothing.
Terry is very big on responsibility and that sometimes is an issue because they're kids and nobody is born responsible. They can't always think things through and Terry shouldn't expect that too early. Sometimes he sits the pups down when they want some thing to discuss it, but they're five, Terry, what do you want, a progress report? Terry has to come back and make things up to a puppy he's unwittingly asked too much of more often than he likes. Daniel has a firmer sense of what they need. Terry can see that, but he's only ever learnt to exploit it in others as weaknesses, he doesn't immediately know how to read it and soothe it in a puppy. He needs to learn that from Daniel, and Daniel needs to learn responsibility from Terry in this 'verse. Canon Daniel had to grow up quicker than mob baby Daniel.
Responsibility also means admitting when you're wrong, which Terry always does, and he's very free with with praise. Consequently, Making Daddy Proud is a national sport in the Silver house and Daniel is a bit jealous of that, but Terry envies the way Daniel can fall in synch with them without even trying. He needs Daniel for those intimate moments. I mean, Terry knows their secrets, but the pups tell them to Daniel. When Terry is alone with his puppies, he's constantly herding them. He can't help that. He'll dress a scrape and cut, and give a kiss and a cuddle, but he'd sooner make an older sibling do it, cuddle them both with a "good job!" and tell them to climb that tree again, and better this time. And sometimes what they need more is a cry and a good pout and some candy, and that's why it's good when Mama's back from where he sometimes goes to to get a new puppy.

Pt III good omens but i STILL SOMEHOW haven't watched it (and i'm increasingly passive aggressive)
i'm now basically held hostage adopted as mascot by this fandom. it's fine i'm fine *SIGNALS FOR HELP DESPERATELY*
Alright fuckers I swear this time I'm going to get some shit right. Without further ado, here's my third attempt at a good omens summary:
Everything everywhere is queer all at once
Angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley on earth likey each other
The car is a bentley and it is BLACK not silver and everyone is very upset about this. my bad yall it was reflecting light therefore i guessed more silver than black but I'm not Anish Kapoor take your black.
Then it is yellow, and aziraphale likes it. crowley preferred the black because he's a flamboyant emo.
God is a deadbeat absentee parent and you are all children of divorce.
There's a naked archangel and they cause problems for the husbands somehow. By being naked? By being an archangel? By being at their doorstep? Who knows not me
They were actually married for 6000 years, they just are the last to know about it.
Crowley is on fire. Like, he's slaying for sure, but also he is literally on fire, like Aziraphale's bookstore.
The actors like I said before are Michael Sheen and David Tennant but this is the place where I finally admit that I don't actually know who is whom. I'm going to assume Michael is Aziraphale because Michael sounds angel-y and David is Crowley because uh Michaelangelo made David and was gay for him.
Terry Pratchett is not fictional.
He co-wrote the book with @neil-gaiman, who IS fictional, because he does not have social media. Several of you have assured me that he is in fact a fandom inside joke. I like to think he would be proud of me.
They adopt a preteen and Crowley gives him bad advice.
At some point a baby was delivered to someone and was exchanged for the son of Satan. Idk if the baby is the preteen, or the son of satan is the preteen, or neither. This could be a fanfic, I have no way of differentiating the fanfic from canon on tumblr, except that the canon is weirder.
Crowley does not go down a chute. He goes down a telephone cord after making himself microscopic to pole dance on a pin with shroom-induced backgrounds.
During this his stage name is Disco Tony. Get it king go slay you're making better life choices than I am tbh.
Aziraphale is a biblically accurate angel, and you have all gone to extensive lengths to prove this to me. I understood nothing, but there you go.
It's all very queer, just like the fandom.
Crowley is a retired demon but he still sins by breaking the speed limit.
They eat at fancy restaurants and bicker but like in a sexual undercurrent way.
Crowley gives Aziraphale a private dance that is not a lap dance, it is an apology dance, but not in a kinky way, until it is.
Their haircuts keep changing and range from 'this is acceptable and gay' to 'i let a drunk chimpanzee take gardening shears and a blowtorch to my hair'
It's all ineffably queer my good fellows
Everyone keeps trying to convince me Neil Gaiman is the villain yeah no guys I know it's really you. Y'all be like 'SEASON TWO BROKE ME' and then you're making headcanons to make it sadder yeah I see you mmhm.
There is a final fifteen. It is sad. What is it? No one told me.
The demon turns goats into crows and the angel turns them back and then children are turned into newts (does the angel turn them back? who cares not yall) and the demon was the snake in the Eden garden and everyone's furry game seems to be on point.
There are a rather lot of children. I have not seen them. But I am assured they are there. They are, guys. I assume they were turned into the alcohol Aziraphale and Crowley drink or something.
There was an apocalypse plotline. It was averted. It is not important. You don't talk about plotlines in this fandom, no sir.
Crowley doesn't want to go to heaven. Aziraphale is sad.
The kiss is not nice, just like this fandom. It is queer, just like this fandom. It is sad and desperate and masochistic, just like this fandom.
Aziraphale doesn't want to stay back with Crowley. Crowley is sad.
Season 2 ends. Fandom is sad.
Everyone's sanity is hinging on the promise of a happy ending in season 3. Good luck guys.
Y'all better appreciate this. I can't even boast to my mother about this legacy of mine, hey mum your son has been held hostage kidnapped inducted into a cult adopted by a fandom he's not part of look he's winning at life.

Finding Refuge.
Chapter two.
Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse with Terry Richmond
Tumblr media
“I’m so sorry, Raelynn. The position has been filled.”
Raelynn Matthews looked into the eyes of the receptionist standing behind a sleek front desk. The stillness within that corporate building in Downtown Atlanta left an eerie feeling she was intensely familiar of.
“E–Excuse me?” Raelynn finally found the words to speak, “I–I–I–don’t understand.”
The nonchalant receptionist stared back at Raelynn with a cool expression and a slow blink.
“I received an email from your company for a job opportunity. You have an opening here,” Raelynn displayed the email to the receptionist, “So help me understand…”
The sunken, almost lifeless eyes of the receptionist flicked down to her iPhone and then back to her face.
“That email was sent two days ago. We don’t wait around for a response. If you wanted the job, you’d have shown up within the allotted timeframe.”
The even, condescending tone of the alabaster bitch sitting before her was about to bring the evil out of Raelynn.
“Are you being sarcastic? The date says March 25th. Today is March 25th—”
“I’m trying to be nice here. What would you rather me do? Go grab one of the big boys and have him tell you what I just told you?”
Emerald green eyes stared into Raelynn’s coffee brown orbs. The receptionist with a nameplate that reads: Monica Caudle, started packing her patchwork satchel, prepared to leave Raelynn standing there. The sound of dress shoes against polished, concrete floors echoed around her as her fingers covered in various silver rings twitched against the desk’s surface.
“You know your way out—AHHH! WHAT THE FUCK?!”
Somehow, Raelynn’s hand smacked against Monica’s Big Gulp cup and spilled the contents of a blue slurpie all over her white capris and black, pointed toe, ballet flats. Monica leaped up and almost tripped from the velocity of her sudden movements. The blue, icy-cold liquid drifted all over her desk, soaking very important documents and Monica’s AirPod Pro case.
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” Monica screeched, “I OUTTA SLAP THE FUCK OUT OF YOU—”
Whoops,” Raelynn twisted her full lips and gave a single shoulder shrug, “My hand just…has a mind of its own.”
“I’m calling security—”
“Call them, I don’t care. You deserved it. I’m sure you’ve gotten by so far in your miserable life being nasty and rude to people. Today is the day you feel how it feels to be treated poorly. And it doesn’t help the fact that you’re so ugly on the outside. It matches that rotten core of yours.”
Raelynn beamed at Monica. Monica stared at her with her mouth agape.
“Think about what I’ve said. Really think on it, Monica. I could have done worse,” Raelynn placed her large, black, Telfar bag over her shoulder, “Have a good rest of your day!”
Turning, Raelynn walked away, ready to get so far away from that building. She refused to allow herself to cry over it. Maybe it was a sign for the heavens above that this job wasn’t for her. She was still in college working towards a certificate in medical billing and coding. Other opportunities were on the horizon.
Raelynn had a temper, one she couldn’t control when in situations. Slowing down, breathing deeply, and taking a break before responding were methods she tried to use to reduce her anger. Practicing relaxation skills and developing new anger-management strategies may also help. She just started therapy, so it was an adjustment for her.
A black girl from Decatur, apart of the 14.57 percent of African Americans within the eastern suburb. Her foster parents had her attend the best schools, put her in many clubs from ballet to karate, and made sure she got a full ride to Spelman.
You may have heard the expression “children are resilient,” promoting the idea that children can overcome and conquer hardship and trauma. While it may be comforting to believe in the rhetoric of childhood resilience — that children are immune to adverse experiences and won’t be damaged by trauma — it’s far from the truth. Raelynn suffered heavily from PTSD. She was neglected by her biological parents and abused by her mother’s boyfriend at the age of seven.
The cigarette burn in the center of her chest was a reminder. The sensation of piping hot water against her skin brought back memories of sitting in a hot tub after receiving a beating, the whelps on her skin so painful she couldn’t stand the heat against her skin. Nights without a meal because she ‘disrespected her mother’s man’. Going to school at the age of nine with a black eye was enough to have her 4th grade teacher call CPS.
“Take her, I can’t afford her anyway. One less thing to be concerned with.”
George and Tonya Williams adopted her. George was a Veteran and Tonya was a pediatric nurse. They drove all the way from Decatur to take her back with them. George was a very disciplined man. Very straight and very structured. He was like a drill sergeant. Tonya was loving and often times smothered Raelynn. They built a picture–perfect daughter to their liking, and Raelynn felt she didn’t have a say in the matter. Although she was forever grateful of them, she wished they could understand.
Raelynn became rebellious. She skipped school, got suspended multiple times, fought often, and stayed out way past curfew. It was a cry for help that fell on deaf ears. Eventually, George started to regret adopting Raelynn. And just like her mother’s boyfriend, he hit her. Slapped her in the face. Slapped her while her foster mother watched. Thankfully, she was of age to leave them both behind and figure out what she was going to do.
She left Decatur and moved to Atlanta where she worked two jobs to make ends meet, got her license, made poor dating choices, and partied till she couldn’t party anymore. It did nothing but numb the pain. She tried reaching out to her biological father, but discovered he had passed from colon cancer a year prior. Her mother was no longer with that abusive man but she was living in South Carolina with extended family until she got back on her feet.
Before stepping off the curb and into the street, Raelynn stopped herself, realizing what she was about to do. Was she about to…walk into incoming traffic? She took two wide steps back and closed her eyes. That wasn’t the answer. Raelynn noticed a bench and took a seat. She sat her bag down next to her and retrieved a small note pad and a pen with purple ink. Raelynn removed the top to the pen with her teeth and started jotting down what had just happened.
After what felt like an hour, Raelynn stood from the bench and walked safely across the street to her parked car and climbed inside. The drive back to her shared apartment with her roommate took longer than usual, cars bumper to bumper. Raelynn opened the door to their two bedroom apartment and dropped her shoes off where she stood. Walking inside, she spotted her roommate, Ashley, an art major with the beauty of a pageant girl and the body of an IG model. Ashley was wearing a matching, pale–pink pajama set with her honey blonde knotless braids cascading down her back.
“Raelynn? Did you see the news?” Ashley glanced over her shoulder at Raelynn with light–brown eyes, “look…”
This is a worldwide emergency broadcast; a viral outbreak has been reported and is spreading quickly. The virus is a fast acting strain and is passed through bodily fluids from the infected. Once bitten or contaminated in any way, it attacks your bloodstream and brain. The symptoms of the infected include profound sweating, fever and nausea.
Raelynn’s eyes were hooked to the screen. Ashley stood from the carpet and began ringing her shaky hands as fear rushed through her. Life was about to get interesting. So, a worldwide pandemic? Great. What else can go wrong? They were behind in rent, she couldn’t get another job after being fired from her job delivering packages from Amazon. With a pandemic, she’d have no way to pay bills and survive.
Call up George and Tonya. Move back home to Decatur, she thought.
“It’s probably one of those distractions, Ashley. Just like all of that Area 51 bullshit—”
“Shhhhh! Listen!”
Ashley turned the volume up on their wall—mounted flat screen.
The virus is fatal and there is no cure as we speak; we have reports coming in now that the infected that have passed are rising and attacking the non–infected. Please stay in your homes and do not get close to anyone sick, in severe cases that you need to protect yourself, the only way to stop them is damaging the brain. Do not try to come to emergency services or hospitals and wait for more information…
“Rae…”
Ashley was starting to have a panic attack right before Raelynn’s eyes. The intense fear and anxiety she was experiencing made her dizzy. Ashley almost lost her balance and fell face first against the carpet. Raelynn dropped her bag and rushed over, slowly lowering Ashley to the sofa. She wrapped her arms around her shaking body, rubbing her back in soothing circles. Ashley’s hyperventilating began to slow down.
“Ash, it’s okay…it’s okay—”
“I need to call my mom and my sister! I need to know that they’re okay!” Ashley shouted hysterically.
“Ash, Ash, please, calm down—”
“NO!”
Ashley shoved Raelynn, causing her to fall back against the couch while she stormed off down the hall. Raelynn shot up from the couch and followed Ashley, angered by her rage against her when she was only trying to help. She stood within the doorway of Ashley’s bedroom and watched her pack an overnight bag with random pieces of clothing.
“So, you’re just going to go out there when they just said to stay indoors—”
“I need to be with my family, Raelynn. They’re all I’ve got left. I don’t expect you to understand that—”
“HOLD ON,” Raelynn charged inside of Ashley’s room, “I was only trying to help you! If they’re saying it isn’t safe to go out, then why would you?—”
Raelynn wasn’t prepared for what just happened. Ashley bent over in front of her and vomited all over her bedroom floor. Raelynn rocked back on her heels to avoid it from getting on her. The putrid smell of her stomach contents filled the cramped space and Raelynn couldn’t stand there any longer.
Ashley looked up at her with a sweaty face and spit hanging from her bottom lip. They locked eyes and the silence between them was almost chilling.
The symptoms of the infected include profound sweating, fever and nausea.
“How long have you been feeling like this?” Raelynn questioned.
Ashley avoided Raelynn’s penetrating gaze.
“Ashley, how long?”
Ashley wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She rushed past Raelynn and into their shared bathroom to grab cleaning supplies. Raelynn watched her scrub and clean, the scent of bleach mixed with vomit toxic to her senses.
“Do you think you were infected—”
“Shut up right now, Raelynn.”
“I need to ask these questions! Because if you are…if you are…”
Raelynn disappeared down the hall to her room. Fuck what that news anchor said on television. If Ashley was indeed infected, she would attack Raelynn and do the exact same to her. She packed an even bigger bag, grabbing all the important things she needed before heading back to Decatur.
Speaking of Decatur.
Incoming call…
“Tonya?”
Raelynn glanced down the hallway, the sound of Ashley scrubbing catching her ear.
“Raelynn, honey, is everything alright? Did you hear what’s happening? Are you safe?”
“Uh…” she lowered her voice and cracked her door, “I don’t think so…my roommate is sick…she just threw up everywhere.”
“You need to come home. Get out of there fast. I rushed home from work because the hospital is in an uproar. The things I’ve witnessed…come home, Rae.”
“How does George feel about all this?”
“…George wants you home too. Leave now and let me know when you’re on the way. I love you. Please be careful, Raelynn.”
Beep.
Raelynn started to feel her own sense of trepidation. She continued packing, and when she finished, she opened her door, silence ahead of her.
“Ashley?”
Nothing. Just an eerie silence.
Raelynn hated the unknown. She hated not knowing what she was walking into. That hallway was her only chance of leaving that apartment. Mustering courage, Raelynn gathered her things and began walking the hallway. Before she approached Ashley’s door. She stopped, reaching inside of her Telfar bag, gripping the handle of her licensed gun. She made sure to bring it with her if what the news was saying was true.
In severe cases that you need to protect yourself, the only way to stop them is damaging the brain.
Raelynn stepped in front of Ashley’s door and it was empty. She’d left. Raelynn exhaled, hoping that Ashley wasn’t infected. She was on her way to her mother and sister. If she’s infected, she would definitely do the same to them.
Not wasting anymore time, Raelynn left the apartment behind and as she exited the complex, her eyes moved back and forth, taking in the sight of people rushing and screaming and crying. She hadn’t been in her apartment for an hour and already there was mass hysteria. She jogged with her bags to her Honda Civic, popping the trunk and throwing her bags inside. Raelynn made sure to keep her eyes focused around her. She hopped in her car and slammed the door shut, thankful she was safe.
We’re gonna die!
It’s the apocalypse!
Those words stuck with her the entire ride to Decatur. She could only hope it wasn’t true. Maybe she was asleep. Maybe she needed to be woken up from this growing nightmare.
——
3:00 pm
The town of Senoia
located 45 minutes south of Atlanta. It was established in 1860 , the land was purchased by a Reverend. Cotton and Peaches where the agricultural products shipped from this area. There are still plenty of farms, now they have lots of honey farms and other fruits. The town was named after a captain's wife from the civil war.
Terry walked into that town with a shotgun flung across his body and a crossbow in his hand. He wore his favorite jeans, a grey T-shirt beneath a flannel shirt, and a beanie on his head. His hazel eyes took in the appearance of the charming little town, small shops surrounding him. The sound of shuffling feet startled him so he ducked low behind an abandoned, faded blue sedan.
It was a small group of zombies.
Terry silently watched while fixing his crossbow to shoot. He steadied his breathing, something he’d learned to do over the months. No use in making it known that he was highly anxious. His eyes peeked through the dusty window at the zombies moving along with weak attempts to stay on two feet.
It’s crazy to think that these were once everyday people. Waking up, going to work, driving, laughing, making love…
They stumbled around, moaning and groaning.
Rauuuhhh…guhhhhhhhh…
Another method that allowed Terry to keep the zombies away from where he hunkered down was to bait them. He’d tie dead animals to a wooden board and hang them in various locations within the forest to keep his scent away. It worked, because if they caught a whiff of him, they’d go crazy. He had to do it every several days. A lot of work, but worth your life.
When they were far enough away, Terry remained low, his eyes casing the area like a hawk. Solid back against a brick wall, Terry retrieved his walkie talkie from his back pocket. He’d made it to the first landmark Rae told him about.
“When you find the history museum, radio me and I’ll tell you what to do from there. Good luck, Terry.”
He was still unsure about Rae.
“Why are you helping me?” Terry questioned her hours prior.
“BecauseI know what’s it’s like…and we have to have each other’s back, right?”
He’d like to believe that. Terry refused to travel in a pack. He refused to trust anyone else besides his cousin. But, with Mike gone, he had no choice but to let his guard down just a little. Only a little this time. As soon as he finds Mike, he’s leaving everyone behind. Including Rae.
“Rae, this is Terry, come in.”
Terry moved further away until he was hiding beside a dumpster, crouched low.
“Rae, what’s your 20?”
He couldn’t stay here any longer. What the fuck was she doing? His head snapped to the right when he thought he’d heard something.
Terry whispered a low “fuck,” before jogging as quickly and quietly as he could across to the other side.
“Rae, come in, I’m too exposed. You got me open out here.”
“Terry, Terry, I’m here, sorry…”
“What the fuck was that?” Terry whispered aggressively into the walkie talkie.
“Signal strength down. I’m trying here, Terry. Are you at the landmark?”
“Yes, yes. Now, where to go from here?”
“Travel north. You’ll notice train tracks straight away. Stick close to the trees. When you reach a tunnel, I’m waiting inside for you.”
“Will you? I need your word, Rae.”
“I promise. I wouldn’t lead you astray.”
Terry moved. He hadn’t been in this position for at least two months. His well, structured game plan to remain hidden most of the time was being tested. It took Terry about twenty minutes to find the tracks. He stepped over carefully and did as Rae suggested: sticking to the trees. Ignoring the twigs and pointy greenery scraping his skin, Terry could see the tunnel straight ahead.
“Argh!”
Terry dropped to his knees when the back of a gun collided with his head. He dropped his crossbow and turned around on his hands to see who had attempted to knock him out. He was resilient. it would take a lot to put Terry Richmond down. Not even a taser could subdue him for long. He’d withstood a bullet to his back. His bright eyes stared up into the eyes of a wild—looking white man with overgrown facial hair and thin, oily, dirty blonde hair.
“Who the fuck are you?!”
Terry wanted to kill this man with his bare hands. He was going to draw attention to them.
“Get that gun out my face.” Terry warned.
“I don’t recognize your face ‘round here. We don’t take kindly to outsiders in Woodsbury. You could be infected…”
“Yeah, well, I’m not. And you’re right, I’m not from around here. But I damn sure don’t owe you an explanation. After all, you don’t own this town.”
Click.
Terry acted quickly and charged the man into the bushes. They wrestled, rolling around in the dirt. Terry took his arm and pinned it back, causing the man with rancid breath to wail in agony. He wouldn’t keep still. Terry had to put him in a choking headlock with his bulging bicep.
He squeezed.
The man tapped his arm frantically.
“You wanna go to sleep? Drop the fuckin’ gun. Do it now, motherfucker.” Terry spoke through clenched teeth.
The man loosened his grip on the gun. Terry gave his throat one more painful squeeze to let him know he meant business before releasing him. Terry picked himself up from the ground while the man tried to catch his breath. He picked up the gun and placed it on his hip.
“This mine now.” Better move along before they come find you after making all that noise.”
Terry snatched up his crossbow and adjusted the shotgun around him as he walked, with one final look of pure hatred down at the man, he continued on his way and fast. Terry lifted his forearm and studied the bloody abrasion with fierce eyes.
He wanted to scream. He couldn’t afford to walk around with an open wound. If anything, that man he was fighting back there could be infected.
Terry took off running as fast as he could, darting between trees like a track runner. Up ahead, he came out onto the train tracks and sprinted into the dark tunnel. He slowed his footsteps and pressed his chest into the wall of the tunnel, exhausted breaths billowing from his mouth.
He didn’t have a second to gather himself before he had his crossbow aimed at the face of a woman.
Ebony skin a deep brown with a dewy appearance.
Heart shaped face with eyes coffee brown and a flared nose decorated with a hoop ring.
Lips full and lush.
Hair styled in thick, rope twists that reached her waist
She had her hands raised in surrender. Those entrancing eyes didn’t look away for a second.
Staring down the length of his crossbow, his eyes that appeared green drifted down her tiny frame. She was wearing a hoodie beneath a thick, utility jacket. Her lower half was dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and her feet were covered with dirty high–top Vans.
His eyes locked with hers again, and he slowly lowered his weapon. She released a shaky breath, the sound settling his nerves. He held the crossbow to his side and parted his dry lips to speak.
“Rae?”
She nodded her head, her own eyes taking him in from head to toe.
“Terry…”
She reached behind her and Terry’s eyes followed cautiously. Raelynn held up a hand to calm him down.
“I’m just grabbing the walkie talkie,” She displayed Mike’s walkie talkie, holding it out for him to take, “Here…figured you’d want this back—”
“Show me the worksite where you found it. Maybe there’s a clue there that’ll lead me to Mike—”
“That’s not a good idea…”
Terry tilted his head down at her short body. Rae had to crane her neck to look at him.
“That’s my family, Rae. And we had a deal. Did you forget that?”
Rae’s eyes darted down to her feet. Terry released a sigh.
“Fuck it, just point me in the direction and I can be out your way.” Terry said with a frustrated voice.
“It’s not that I don’t want to help you, Terry. It’s just…there’s guys from this group that are pretty dangerous…they’ve been on the hunt for anyone that could be infected and they’re killing them on the spot.”
“Hmm, is that so?” Terry looked left and right before his intimidating eyes fell on her again, “I just took down one of those guys not too far from here. I ended up with this,” Terry raised his arm to show her, “And I’m not tryna stick around to get infected. Got something on you to wrap me up?”
“Yes,” Rae started walking backwards towards a door, “This way—”
“Stop.”
Rae paused.
“What’s down there?”
“Our refuge. You coming or not?”
Terry hesitated. He looked around him one last time before following Rae through a door, darkness the only thing he could make out ahead.

Back to Bed
Summary: Terry and Y/N had been married for just over 7 years with 3 beautiful children and a blooming self defense business they’d built together to show for it. Having started their relationship at the beginning of Y/N’s journey into discovering her submissiveness and Terry’s first stationing as an instructor - Terry had been her only dom and thus knew her like the back of his hand and Y/N has been the only sub to experience the harshest version of his dom giving her the same privilege over him. Having been pregnant with their baby girl upon coming home to the Sandy Springs situation, Terry has been using it as an excuse, too afraid to lean all the way into his dom personality the way he had with Y/N before his last tour.
After they get into an argument, again, about the events of Silver Springs and how even after the last few years of stitching their life back together, he still only talked to Summer about everything that happened and was handling her with kid gloves, Y/N separates from him best she can. Completely at a crossroads of what to do to feel like she’s still her husband’s wife and losing all the fight to try and figure it out, she gives Terry the silent treatment and isolates from him, doing her best to only be in the same room with him when the kids are. After weeks of her barely acknowledging him or the argument, Terry is tired of going to bed alone when his wife is sleeping in the guest room right below him. His plan? Let the dom in him handle it and finally confess his monsters.
WARNINGS: 18+ themes, Minors DNI, d/s themes, pre-smut, angst
A/N: Thank you to all the Terry girls out there that have created a monster in me for this man in literally less than a week. Story inspired by @megamindsecretlair ‘s “I Swear I’ll Never Leave” oneshot and @keyaho ‘s “R.E.L.L.S.” series.
A/N: There will be at least a part 2. Kinda proofread, sorry in advance for any mistakes.
Y/N had been napping peacefully in the spare bedroom when she heard her kids start screaming excitedly, waking her all the way out her sleep in panic. Once she identified their squeals as gleeful she relaxed, but decided it would be in her best interest to check and see what all the commotion was about. Imagine her surprise when she entered their living room to see her parents sitting on the couch with her kids talking over one another and Terry coming downstairs with their weekend-trips-backpacks. The moment she locked eyes with her husband, Y/N gulped, somehow understanding exactly what was going on behind those piercing eyes. Her father had been too wrapped up in the kids, but her mother saw her daughter the instant she entered the room, her motherly instincts in overdrive.
As soon as Terry let them in she could see that he was even more exhausted than usual, his reliably calm demeanor obviously frazzled. Whenever they usually came to pick up the kids at his request, everything was already packed and ready, the kids fed the most recent meal or snack, and Terry had them waiting by the door. Y/N was usually who they waited on. It was completely out of character to have to wait for him to finish getting them ready or be told they haven't eaten at least a snack so far into the afternoon. Dinner was around the corner and school had been out for at least 2 hours. Yeah, something was definitely wrong. She watched the unspoken conversation happen between the two when he came back downstairs and hoped that Terry asking them to take the kids to hang out with them overnight would help to resolve whatever marital issues they were having. Her daughter looked just as bad as her son-in-law and judging by the fact she looked like she just woke up and came from their guest bedroom rather than the masters upstairs that was no surprise. Her daughter had always slept better cuddled up next to someone her whole life and Terry had become the ultimate sleeping aid when they met. She’d had to stock up on his clothes for the times he was away while in the military just to get a wink, conditioning her body to accept no one’s presence but his to help her sleep.
“Hey baby, how are you?” Y/N’s mother asked.
Y/N tried to muster a smile but felt how off it was, she hoped her mom wouldn’t ask further questions when she said, “I’m fine mommy. What are you guys doing here? I thought we were going to see you on Sunday for the family barbecue.”
Y/N walked over to her parents to hug and kiss them, she sat next to her mom and leaned her head on her shoulder when her mom kept rubbing her back. She closed her eyes and welcomed the affection, it’d been weeks of forcing herself to not seek Terry out for physical contact and it had been hell. That was her top love language and as much as she loved them, kid hugs and kisses only went so far.
“You sure baby? You look tired.”
Y/N locked eyes with Terry again and sighed, “Yeah ma, I’m sure.”
Her father answered her question when he said, “Terry thought it might be a good idea if they had the opportunity to hang out with all the cousins that live nearby that’ll be hanging out tomorrow. Plus I’m sure he’d like some alone time with his wife. It’s been too long since you two have asked for a weekend anyway so it’s no problem.”
“Oh okay. That sounds nice,” she lied through her teeth, avoiding eye contact with Terry at all costs at this point. Diverting her attention she said, “You excited babies?”
She smiled the first genuine one since coming out of the room at the chorus of yes’s that graced her ears.
“Well I got everything in the car, carseat included,” Terry said, closing the front door behind himself, “and here’s some funds for the weekend.” He slipped some money into her father’s hand before he could register what’d been put there.
Her father looked down at what Terry gave him and got up to try and give it back. “Son, we do this everytime.”
“Then you should know that you’re leaving here with that money.”
Her father clapped Terry on the shoulder and they shared some chuckles as he couldn’t do anything, but shake his head and shake his son-inlaw’s hand. Not once since they had kids did Terry ever ask his parents-in-law to watch the kids without making sure they had a good chunk of change. The twins alone had been a handle full and a half since birth but babygirl turned their little hurricanes into big ones. He knew that whenever his wife tried she couldn’t win that argument so he’d made a point to be the one who did to keep the balance they both sought.
“Right you are son. Can’t blame an old man for trying though.”
“I can’t,” Terry said still chuckling. Thank you,” he looked to his mother-in-law as she stood up beside her husband, “both of you. We really need this.”
Y/N’s mom laid her hand on his face and said, “Anytime. You two need to take care of yourselves and each other first more often.” She moved towards the door trying to make this as short as possible. “Now let’s get family, leave these two lovebirds to nest alone.”
Terry and Y/N smiled at each other for the first time in weeks at the sound and sight of their kids saying “ewww” and fake gagging. It brought a pang to Y/N’s heart and she immediately frowned at the realization that they hadn’t seen or heard those reactions in too long.
She stayed seated, the kids coming up one by one to give their mommy a goodbye hug and kiss before they left, as Terry stood holding the door open and hugging and kissing everyone on the way out the door. She damn near cried when her mom kissed her on the forehead, the silent sign that her mom knew something was wrong and they would talk about it later. When Terry finally shut the door and turned around to stare her down all that had been left unspoken seemed to come out from the shadows and sit between them.
“Y/N, kitten?” Terry asked. She stopped looking past him at the door and finally looked at him at the pet name. He had his arms folded and was gripping his biceps to keep from rushing to touch his wife who hadn’t given him permission to touch her in the 5 weeks since she moved to the guest bedroom. They hadn’t played together in over 6 months, her figurative silence having been brewing longer than the weeks she was literally silent. She knew that he was asking for permission with the declaration, handing over his control of the situation with just the two names.
She gulped and whispered back, “Yes, big daddy?”
Terry let out a sigh of relief and released the hold he had on his arms, his hope restored that he hadn’t lost her. He still had a chance to fix this.
“It feels nice to hear you address me again, I’ve missed your voice little one,” he said as he walked towards his wife while rolling up the sleeves on his long sleeve shirt. He had turned the air up a few hours prior and put on the shirt in preparation of this moment. Y/N had a weakness for his arms and hands - over the years he’s learned that wearing long sleeves was the best way to use that to his advantage. With the way her breath hitched, her nipples pebbled beneath her outfit, and she got stuck eyeing his movements was a sight for sore eyes, it’d been too long since she let herself look at him like that. Since she got out of her head long enough for her body respond to him as it had always naturally done. In fact he knew the reason she had been avoiding him and sleeping in the guest room was because he was always able to get back in her good graces with just a few moments of existing. Any of their disagreements always ended with her folding no matter how mad she was throughout their whole relationship, so these last few weeks were a megaphone announcement that she was not playing around this time.
“Huh kitten?”
Y/N had no idea what words were coming out her husband’s mouth. Her pulsing pussy was ringing in her ears and she was lost in thinking about everything those hands could and would do to her. By the time she focused on his words again, Terry was standing in front of her grasping her chin to look him in his mesmerizing eyes.
“Did you even hear what I asked you?”
She gulped again and shook her head no. Curse this man and the hold he had on her. 6 weeks of holding out, staying quiet, and standing ten toes down on her frustrations, and all it took for her to let him back in was a few words and him rolling up his sleeves. Terry hadn’t even done anything yet and she knew that no matter how right she was, no matter how much she wanted to maintain her resolve, and no matter what Terry finally told her about what happened, she would be forgiving him. Hell, she already had the moment she walked into the living room to see her parents.
Terry repeated himself. “I said I missed hearing you address me little one. Did you know that? How much I’ve been aching to hear you speak to me, to be able to touch you. I have permission to touch you now though, don’t I kitten?”
“Ye-,” Y/N had to clear her throat, though it did nothing to clear the lust that had changed her voice to the breathy thing it was, “Yes big daddy.”
“Yes you know how much I’ve been aching or yes I have permission?”
“Yes to both big daddy.”
He raised an eyebrow at that. “How did you know lil mama? We haven’t been talking so I haven’t had time to tell you.”
“Cause I’ve been aching too,” she squeaked out while the wiggle of her hips increased as she tried to create friction with her thighs. Y/N the woman could not help her right now, the only one present was the submissive.
“Have you? I couldn’t tell kitten.” Terry’s neutral expression turned into a frown as he cupped the base of her skull, gripping her locs to pull her head back, eliciting a moan from Y/N as her eyes slid close.
When Y/N opened her eyes again she was met with the fire behind Terry’s eyes and though it wasn’t what she was trying to do, it brought her great joy to see the dom in Terry. Not the soft one he’d been using as a shield, but the real dom, the one she fell in love with all those years ago. It had been entirely too long since he’d come out to play and she was starved. She nodded her head yes.
“Well you’ve done too good of a job hiding it from me these last few months mamas. I think it’s time we fixed that, don’t you?” he asked.
Y/N nodded again, best she could and Terry couldn’t help himself. He slapped her with an open palm, not to hurt her but to bring her focus back and make himself clear as he spoke, his voice deepening with the lust that now clouded every fibre of his being. “Words kitten. You will use them or I will stop.”
“No!”
Terry’s grip on her hair tightened and he raised an eyebrow.
Y/N stuttered to correct herself. “I mean no big daddy, please don’t stop. I’ll use my words.”
“Good. Now we will have that conversation and I will tell you everything you’ve been begging to know, consequences be damned, but I need to release some pent up energy and I know you do too. Are you okay with that?”
“Yes big daddy.”
Terry loosened his grip slightly and his face softened as he took in his wife, hanging onto every word, listening with all of her attention, already neck deep in subspace. “I don’t think you understand.”
“I do, I promise.”
Terry closed his eyes and shook his head. He was terrified, she was too trusting, too ready to give herself over to him for his release. She had no idea how much anger and grief he’d been storing these last few years and he had no idea what letting himself go to indulge would look like anymore. He’d been afraid of himself since the day the Chief handed him that money and he knew before ever seeing with his eyes that Mike was dead. “No you don’t. Kitten, I got a monster that I’ve been hiding from you, hell from myself half the time too, and I know I said I’ll explain later but I gotta make sure you’re warned properly before you agree. I don’t know if I can maintain my control tonight, it’s been too long-”
Y/N cut off his speech to start her own. Briefly breaking character for a moment, she laid a hand on his face and said “Terrance.” His eyes welled with tears he had to do everything to keep from falling when she continued. “I have waited almost 4 years for you to trust me with these shadow parts of yourself. I’ve been missing the version of you who trusted himself enough to allow me to be his release for almost 4 years. I don’t just miss my husband, I don’t just miss my dom, I miss you. Having access to all of you. I trust you.”
One rouge tear escaped and Y/N wiped it away before it make it too far down his face and stood cupping his face with both hands. Terry let his hands fall to her love handles as she kissed him and he let out a deep groan at the sight of her kneeling at his feet, clasping her hands together at the base of her spine and looking up at him with an expression that matched her declaration. “I’m ready big daddy. Do what you will.”
Terry wiped at his face and with his head thrown back he let out a long, “fuck.” Now that he’d started them down this road, he had a feeling that she was going to make him go the distance and it made him feral. His monster had been wanted out, but she just waved a proverbial red flag in front of him. She wanted to meet his monsters so bad? Bet. They wanted to devour her anyway and now, looking at her offering herself up so pretty, he would let them.

i NEED more cobra kai challengers plzzzz
A pounding came at your door that slightly scared you. Your parents were out for the night, leaving you home alone. The clock read almost midnight. Who was at your door this late at night?
You cautiously got up from the couch and walked towards the door. You grabbed the baseball bat you had hidden around the corner, just as a safety precaution. You looked through the peephole and sighed in relief. You opened the door to reveal your two favorite boys.
“You scared me. I thought you were robbers or something,” you said, gesturing to the bat.
They both chuckled.
“Sorry, princesa, only us,” Miguel replied.
You stepped aside to let them in. You noticed they were both dressed like they had just gone out while you were lounging in your pajamas.
“So, what’s with the surprise visit,” you asked, crossing your arms.
They shared a look of weariness that didn’t go unnoticed.
“We just needed a place to relax after tonight,” Hawk answered.
“What do you mean? Did something happen?”
After the night of the party, the three of you had become fairly close. There weren’t any labels, but you all consecutively agreed to keep the relationship private. You were the boys’ getaway from their hectic karate life, but you were still in the know of the drama. You made the wise choice to stay out of it.
“We just took down Cobra Kai,” Miguel told.
You raised your eyebrows. “Okay. And how did you do that?”
“We broke into their dojo, fought off their students and got Terry Silver arrested after exposing him for cheating in the All Valley and beating someone up for blackmail.”
“…I’m gonna make tea.”
They followed you into the kitchen and sat down at the island table. They watched you set down three identical mugs while waiting for the tea kettle. You looked at them and sighed, walking around the counter to stand in front of them.
You inspected their appearance, checking for bruises or cuts. Of course, there were none. They were your strong boys.
“So, what does this mean now? No more karate war?” You questioned.
They shook their heads.
“The only thing to worry about now is the Sekai Tekai,” Hawk said. “But, at least now, we can relax a bit. Don’t have to worry about getting beat up in another tattoo parlor.”
You tilted your head, confused, but shook it off. You looked at Hawk. “You dyed your hair.”
“Oh, yeah.” He touched his gelled blue mohawk shyly. “Do you like it?”
You pecked his lips tenderly, pulling away with a smile. “I love it.” You turned to Miguel. “And you better keep these curls.” You ran your hand through his hair as his went to your hip, squeezing gently.
The tea kettle went off, making you, unfortunately, pull away. You poured the hot water into the mugs and placed the tea bags in. You grabbed some honey and squeezed some in each cup. You pushed it towards the boys.
It was silent as the three of you drank. Peaceful.
“Do you boys have time for a movie,” you asked, receiving nods in response.
You led them up into your room that they had snuck into countless times before. You sat your mug on your nightstand, same as them. You turned to them with a knowing look.
“You know the rules.”
They noticed the small smirk forming on your face. They looked at each other and complied. They removed their shoes first, followed by their jeans. You weren’t a fan of outside clothes getting on your comforter. Shirts were okay, optional to wear, of course.
You climbed into bed first, followed by Miguel on your right and Hawk on your left. You started scrolling through movies before settling on something you had all seen.
You settled into Miguel’s warm embrace as he kept one arm around you. You sat a pillow on your lap for Hawk to rest his head on, draping one arm over him. He grabbed your hand, placing a light kiss on your palm.

Could you please do beloved meeting Terry’s parents? If, of course, that would ever happen!
Honestly, it is so unfortunate we've so little actually canon details concerning Terry Silver's parents that everything I write on this blog about them is almost entirely my creation from tiny scraps we've been given and can be proven to be entirely inaccurate if the series, as much as I doubt it, ever decides to show us a glimpse of Papa and Mama Silver, but basically, that being said ---
I very much imagine a "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" sort of situation on the subject of Terry bringing anyone home to meet his parents. And I do mean anyone. Doesn't even have to be a romantic partner. Can be a friend. Can be John Kreese. An acquittance. A stray dog, for all we know. Irregardless, they'll initially treat this person like someone at a pop quiz is being treated and 'Who's your daddy and what does he do for a living' manner of questions would be frequent during this rendezvous. Oh, you mean your family isn't in fact a member of an prominent Country Clubs around the West Coast area? How interesting and yeah, the subject of class differences, religious differences and economic differences would be an issue, because I do envision Terry's parents had big (possibly even huge) expectations of him as an only child and heir. That, at least his father, was unflinching and strict towards him reaching these standards and then some.
Yet, at the same time, I imagine his parents being just as egoistic and possessive.
Just as hellbent on claiming, contradictively enough.
Terry had to get it from someone.
Furthermore, Terry must've observed it and learned it from someone.
Beloved might not have been what was expected (rich, connected, upper crust), but if their Terry wants them, beloved will honor his wishes and be his, adapting, becoming in ways, like The Silvers, until it is unrecognizable they were ever from outside their circles. If someone as powerful as them says a duck's a duck, surely it must be a duck. And by the way, their son's a war veteran, don't you know? The conflicts of this country returned him damaged in ways and so far, nobody's answered for it. Nobody's paid and someone should've, because nothing's for free, and that sort of thing certainly shouldn't be. That service (and by extension his training in Korea and funding the first Cobra Kai dojo) took precious time out of him running the family company, and goddamnit, if Terry wants a shiny toy to keep him homebound, anchored and focused on more domestic affairs and his actual inheritance, becoming the man he was always supposed to be before all these distractions he should put behind himself popped up, he'll get the shiny toy. That's exactly what you'll be. They'll make sure of it. By any means necessary. They've an agenda and they'll see it to fruition. You don't get to just opt out of this now and flip-flop in your indecision. There's no retreat. That's not how things work. Are you trying to disrespect their family and their son? Are you trying to make very powerful enemies? Once you cross their threshold, it's their 'dojo' and their rules. No mercy. You belong to them.
Terry Silver's parents being familial, platonic!Yanderes anyone? 👀 Hey, possible!

A little story about Silver growing up. He wasn't lonely. Probably.
Tumblr media
Silver wasn't a lonely child. His family was small, but happy. His parents were always home and his aunt always made time for him. He did notice that his aunt never spoke to his parents, but that wasn't a problem. Their family was just a little odd, his parents said. There was nothing to worry about.
Things changed a little as he got older. Sometimes, his aunt's emotions bled over to him. She worried about a lot, like work and money and things Silver didn't understand. If he asked, she told him everything was fine. If his questions were too specific, she'd make a strange face. She made a different face if he talked about his parents. That one was sadder. He stopped talking about those things after a while. He wasn't sad, though. He was making sure his aunt wasn't sad.
His parents were confused when he told them about that. He didn't need to hold back, they said. He wasn't holding back, though. Similar things happened at his schools. Silver would mention something that other students hadn't said aloud. They'd get confused or scared, so he stopped mentioning it. He didn't mind having one less thing to talk about. Why did his parents look sad when he explained it?
"I'm sorry, Silver."
His aunt said that a lot. She wasn't good at explaining why she was sorry, but it usually came up right before they moved. She'd spend the nights bouncing from guilt to relief to hoping it would be the last time. Her feelings got worse each time they moved, but Silver didn't talk to her about it. He was pretty sure she didn't want him to know.
They got very good at packing quickly. It probably helped that they never opened all of their boxes after moving in. The only things they opened were what they needed first. Silver was careful not to ask for too much, so they wouldn't have to take more boxes next time. He wasn't sad. He had everything he needed.
Every time they moved, Silver had to say "Goodbye." He liked each school. Most students were nice to him, even if they didn't understand the things he talked about. If asked, though, he couldn't say he missed any of them. He was only with some of them for a few months, and nobody talked to him after he left.
After "Goodbye" came the next "Hello." Silver joined new schools and met new people. More friends, for however long we was going to be there. With each new school, he spoke less and less about the things he saw that others couldn't. The other students didn't see everyone who was in the room. They didn't know their friends' feelings without asking. They didn't hear the voices on the wind.
He couldn't explain to them the world he saw, nor could he understand what they saw. That was fine, though. He wasn't lonely in a world that only he could see. It couldn't be helped. Some things were not shareable.
"I'm sorry, Silver," his aunt said again. She wasn't as sad as usual. She was certain that the next move would be their last. They packed and moved one more time. Out of habit, they only unpacked what they needed.
Silver walked out of the lives of people who barely knew him and into the lives of people who didn't know him at all. If anything was different, it was that his parents also had to say "Goodbye."
He didn't understand their circumstances very well. They were ghosts, but those were supposed to be vague, intangible things. He could hold his parents' hands and talk to them. They were there, as real as his aunt, but they couldn't stay. And, like every other person he'd left before, they would never talk to him again.
He wasn't sad. That was just how farewells went.
At Silver's new school, two boys inserted themselves into his life. Terry and Philip were sometimes loud and too energetic. They laughed and fought and threw out insults without a care. They told jokes based on half-remembered stories from long ago. Silver learned that they'd known each other for years. Both of them liked to brag about how well they knew the other.
Silver admired their friendship. He also appreciated how understanding they tried to be. They didn't mind when he mentioned something that was never said aloud. They listened when he mentioned something that only he could see. They did their best to never let him feel left out.
Still, he wondered about them.
What was it like to know someone for that long? A person who wasn't family, but was close enough to be part of it anyway? What would it feel like to grow up with someone? Would a friend like that be able to see Silver's world more clearly?
What about the people from the schools he left? Did they grow up with the others in their class? Did they have in-jokes and shared secrets? If he'd stayed, could he have been part of them?
He envied his new friends. He envied people who were able to stay in one place, who could say they grew up somewhere. He grew up everywhere and, in a way, belonged nowhere.
He had a family. It was an odd one, but he was loved.
And he was lonely.

Rio: Terry Silver x Reader

Tumblr media
Terry’s warned you about the car. It’s a fire engine red 1967 Alfa Romero Spider, one that’s seen much better days. Cars like this in good condition cost ten grand, yours is not in good condition.
He understands the emotional connection to the car, your parents had picked it up for you after college as a graduation present. It’s the only tie you have to the both of them now that they’re gone.
When you’d got back to LA and brought it out of storage, Terry had known it was going to be trouble. It was in the stutter of the engine, the dilapidated roar. There’s a Duran Duran tape that’s been stuck in the stereo for over a decade and the passenger side intermittently unlocks. Everytime you climb inside the thing he gets heart palpitations.
When he gets the call in the middle of the night, it scares the hell out of him. You’re crying on the phone, there’s been an accident, you think the car is totalled.
“But are you ok?” He asks you, gripping the phone so tightly the plastic creaks.
“Yea,” You say shakily and he can tell you trying not to cry. “But the car…”
“Alright baby.” He says softly as he snatches up his keys. “I’m on the way.”
There’s already a tow truck on scene, along with the police when he arrives. He sees the red and blue lights flashing and his heart tightens in his chest.
The accident had taken place on a dirt road in El Sereno. You were driving home after dropping off one of the kids from the gallery when a drunk driver had hit your car, almost sending it careening over the edge of the hill. You were lucky it hadn’t been going any faster because that car, it has a soft top, he’s certain you wouldn’t have made it if it had rolled.
You put your thumb out to flag him down and he pulls up as close as he can. You’re a mess. There’s mascara streaked down your cheeks, blood running from your hairline down your features.
“Did you hit your head?” he asks worriedly, his fingers seeking out the source of the bleeding.
“No.” You say as he removes a handkerchief from his coat pocket and presses it to the wound. “It’s from the glass.”
When you glance over your shoulder the Romero is being loaded onto a flatbed. The passenger side where the other car hit you is obliterated, the metal contorted beyond repair. You take one look at it and burst into tears.
That night you’re inconsolable.
The loss of that car…
It’s like you’ve lost your parents all over again.
You cry yourself to asleep, your face buried in Terry’s chest as he holds you close, whispering sweet nothings into your hair.
The next day you’re exhausted, banged up and emotionally wrung out. He tries to get you to take a sick day but you refuse because you need to be busy. He makes you take a couple of painkillers before he drops you off at the art gallery where you work.
When he gets to the lot where your car is being held, the damage is worse than he realised.
“You may as well sell it for scrap.” His mechanic tells him as he studies the vehicle. “The repairs will cost more than the car is worth.”
“Money isn’t a problem.” He sighs as he crosses his arms over his chest. “Do you think it can be fixed?”
“It’ll take some time. The crash did a number on it.” The mechanic says as he smooths his hand over the twisted metal. “I can get it done though.”
It’s almost a month later that you wake up and find a silver box with a red ribbon perched upon your nightstand. It’s resting upon the book you’re reading about your namesake Georgia O’Keefe.
When you open it you find a car key inside, one that you recognise. It’s kind of Terry to give you a keepsake, he knows how much that car means to you, the memories that were attached to it.
“Thank you.” You say softly as you linger in the doorway of the kitchen in your robe and hold up the key. “It means a lot that you could give me something to remember the car by.”
“Let’s step outside.” He says quietly, his palm coming to rest on your lower back as he guides you towards the driveway.
You can’t believe what you’re seeing. Sitting there is your car, not ruined or torn apart, but brand new in pristine condition. Your fingertips trail over the bonnet and your throat constricts because you remember the nights you spent with your dad working on the engine, your mother singing along to ‘Rio’ as she revved it at his request.
“He left the tape deck untouched.” Terry tells you, his lips brushing over your temple. “You can sing ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ to your heart’s content.”
It’s that attention to detail that makes you realise just how much this man cares for you. You feel a surge of something inside of you, a rush of love, of gratitude. Terry has no idea of the gift he’d given you, not really.
“Why don’t you go get dressed?” He suggests, tilting his head back towards the house. “Then you can come back out and take her for a spin.”

KarateKels Story Masterlist
Hi everyone! I’ve decided to (finally) get my act together and make a masterlist post for all the requests/stories I’ve done so far. I’m going first by character, then adding Dark Desires October and TIGmas posts for if you’re looking for a ~vibe~. Links that have a * indicate the presence of smut, for if you just want to get to the good stuff! 😉
(I'll be going through these posts and updating them slowly when I can't bring myself to write, so if you see anything that needs fixing or you want to suggest ways to make this... less of a clusterfuck, please feel free to let me know!)
---
Tumblr media
---
Currently Writing:
---
1. Cold Outside (a Jack Blaylock x Reader fic for TIGmas #12 - sorry for taking FOREVER, @babylonianqueenie; I'm really struggling to make this good!)
2. Solar Flare (a Jan Valek x OC fic)
Note: I am taking requests, but seeing that some of them are around a year old at this point, note that it may be awhile! I'm not planning on starting any of my own projects or theme-months until I clear out most of what I have, and thank you all for your patience!

(KK3 Terry x Reader) You’ve tried to get Terry to open up about his time in Vietnam on more than one occasion, and while he’s been doing his best to help you understand, he ultimately decides that the best way to help you is to put you through something similar, hunting you in the middle of a forest at sunset.

Prized Possession: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) You accompany Terry to a charity event for the first time as a couple and he doesn’t appreciate the attention you receive from the other men in attendance. Upon returning home, he needs to make sure that you both know who you belong to.
As I Am: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) You witness Terry and Daniel’s fight in Stingray’s apartment and desperately want him to lose control with you. Upon making you confess your desires, he gives you exactly what you need. Size kink.
A Better Offer: Part 1 | Part 2*
(CK Terry x Reader) You are Daniel’s assistant at the dealership and a close family friend. When Terry drops by to gather information for his schemes, he decides to scoop you up and make Danny-Boy regret his mistreatment of you, giving you a dream opportunity: organizing the charity auction for Eva Garcia. The two of you develop feelings for one another as you work closely together, and as the events of the auction unfold, the tension between you reaches its boiling point.
Legacy: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) Terry has fallen for the most promising student in his adult class, though she remains oblivious. Scream for Me: Part 1 | Part 2*
(CK Terry x Reader) Part of the "Fresh Start" universe! Reader makes the mistake of telling Terry that she can't believe he was ever scary, and certainly isn't that way now. Terry decides to teach her a lesson, hunting her in their own home until she admits that he is still very much something to be feared.
Wrapped in Red: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) Part of the “Fresh Start” universe! Eye of the Storm: Part 1* | To be continued…
(CK Terry x Reader) Trapped at the airport on Christmas Eve, Terry grows tired of seeing everyone around him with their families and loved ones, and impulsively decides to start a family of his own. Today. He sets his sights on you to get the job done, with you being none the wiser.
Guided Meditation: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) Terry is fed up with your attitude lately, and decides to help you learn how to channel your pent up frustrations through more enjoyable pursuits... for him, anyway.
Party Favours: Part 1*
(CK Terry x Reader) You really don't want your birthday to be a big deal, but Terry is determined to strike the perfect balance, finding just the right way to spoil you...
The Steadfast Tin Soldier: Part 1*
(Twig Terry x Reader) Terry returns from Vietnam on Christmas Eve, and you are the first and only person he wants to see. After years without so much as a letter, you two try to get to know each other once again.
Cash Ewing (Black Friday/The Kidnapping):
Disorderly Conduct: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4* | Part 5 | Part 6
A dark, tragic fic. Reader is a cop who has been working at the same precinct as Cash for awhile, and gets the vibe that something is... off. Trusting her instinct, she follows him to an abandoned building one day and catches him in the act. Unfortunately, he also catches her, and keeps her as a hostage while he tries to figure out his next move. (Takes place before events of the movie)
Person of Interest: Part 1*
You and a friend attend your precinct's Christmas party; the first time you'll be seeing your coworkers since you went undercover almost a year ago. Rather than the happy reunion with your partner and friend Cash, he seems anything but happy to see you. Locked in the basement together, you call Cash out on his BS and finally confront him about his feelings and your own.
Jan Valek (Vampires):
Heirloom: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6*
An enemies to lovers fic with Jan Valek. Reader is Jack Crow's daughter and a vamp-hunter-in-training. When Valek attacks the old Catholic school where the Black Cross of Berziers is kept and discovers his nemesis’s daughter, he kidnaps her in hopes of using her to lure him out but finds himself falling for her instead.
Saturnalia: Part 1*
Valek catches your scent on the wind and plans to feed on you, but after a single conversation with you can’t bring himself to commit such an act. Instead, he plans to find you at your friend's Winter Solstice Masquerade to be close to you, even just for the night.
Solar Flare: Part 1 | In Progress...
As vampires become a growing problem and the number of Slayers dwindles, the Catholic Church decides to perform another ‘miracle’, attempting to create a weapon that will be able to find the despicable creatures in any and all shadows that they may hide. Similarly to the botched exorcism of Jan Valek, the experimental ceremony that Rose Hanlon undergoes doesn’t go exactly as intended, and she escapes the city with a set of abilities she doesn’t even understand.
Gus Travis (Black Point):
In Deep Water: Part 1 | Part 2* | Part 3*
A dark non-con with Gus Travis. Reader is an undercover cop who has gotten in with Gus's gang to get the dirt on him and Malcolm’s crime ring. Gus gets wind of your deception and decides to punish you - for lying, for making him fall for you, for everything.
Terry McCain (Excessive Force):
Yule-Tied: Part 1* | To be continued…
You manage to get Terry to swear off work for a whole week to come with you to visit your family in New York City for the holidays. He has (unsurprisingly) charmed his way into everyone’s good books, so you decide to reward him with an early Christmas present when you get back to your hotel room the night before Christmas Eve.
Jack Blaylock (Ulterior Motives):
Coming soon…
The TIGverse (stories with more than one TIG character):
The NSFW Alphabet: Part 1* | Part 2*
A character study for both KK3 Terry and CK Terry. (I want to do more requests like these, so feel free to send in requests for my thoughts/opinions rather than full on stories if you want!)
A Tale of Two Terrys: Part 1* | To be continued…
(KK3 Terry x Reader x CK Terry) You and your husband (CK Terry) are somehow joined in bed by his younger self, who had been wondering how his future would turn out. Initially protective, your husband talks you into letting his younger self have his way with you before joining in himself.
Mediation: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5* | Part 6* | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9* | To be continued…
(Terry McCain x Reader x Cash Ewing) You are assigned as Terry McCain’s new partner after his previous partner – Cash Ewing – goes to prison for the crimes he has committed. Cash returns to Chicago years later, after his release and rehabilitation, and while he can’t be a cop anymore, he wants to make amends to those he has disappointed with his actions, most of all his former close friend Terry. Terry isn’t receptive to Cash’s attempts at reconciliation, and warns you to stay away from him, having grown very protective of his “work wife.” But you find something of a kindred spirit in Cash and want to help him get a second chance at life, deciding to do what you can to support the man and bring the two friends back together.

Understanding Him
Terrence Silver wasn't like the rest of the soldiers in their unit. He stood out like a sore thumb, so of course Ponytail fell into the habit of judging the other..or at least. He did at first.
This is just an exercise to get me back into writing for now, so not my best work! But enjoy your Implied Future Silvertail either way! __________________________________
Terrence Silver wasn’t like the rest of them. Seth, now nicknamed Ponytail thanks to his signature hairstyle, could pin that the first moment that he had seen him. He was taller than practically everyone in their unit, skinnier too. The man was more like a tree branch than a tree in that regard. And hence, Ponytail had given him the moniker of Twig extremely early on. Course, he knew it annoyed the hell out of the other man from the moment that it had been given too. But he didn’t exactly care either. He was friends with him, sure, but there was no doubting that Ponytail was closer to John than he was to Terry.
It wasn’t technically the guys fault. John was just more like Seth when it came down to it. They were both shorter than Terry, both of them had more muscle than him and they both came from working class backgrounds. They both had a pension for finding trouble too. Of course, the difference was John didn’t really ask for it, instead it often found him in forms of abusive boyfriends or husbands, and him getting into fights to protect their girl from them. For Ponytail, it was more self-inflicted than not. He had typically ended up causing his own problems, whether it be through pranks or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. When his actions inevitably came back to haunt him, he would deal with it of course. He’d complain about it some, despite it most certainly being all his fault. But he’d still take it like the man he was.
Terry, he didn’t seem to be any of that. His soft hands and build made it seem as if he had never seen a day of hardship in his life, his demeanor was more fitting of a socialite rather than a soldier. It was pretty clear that he had come from money, unlike the rest of them. And on occasions, Ponytail would find himself questioning why this man had ended up out here. Why he hadn’t paid his way out of getting the draft, as the rich and famous often did.
Ponytail thought of himself as a pretty nice guy overall. And he hated to admit this, but those prejudices against the other man were exactly what prevented him from being as close to him as he was to John Kreese. He’d never once say any of those thoughts out loud though. Which seemed to, at the very least, make him a better man than the others in their unit. He had overheard what they called the taller man, both to his face and behind his back. Some weren’t the worst. Like Richie Rich or soft, other times they were slinging real insults, calling him faggot or worse. But still, when it came down to it. It was just name-calling. So when John got even with them, Seth often wouldn’t get involved with the fights himself. Instead, he’d just give the lanky man a few reassuring words here and there.
As time went on though, he started to notice more and more about the men he fought alongside. On rough nights, where exhaustion hung heavy on his bones and yet, he couldn’t quite reach the peaceful sleep his mind so desired, he learned that Twig would often lie awake at night as well, looking to be holding back tears. Ponytail could figure out what that meant easily enough. He didn’t want to be here like the rest of them, and he was terrified to be in the midst of war. Some men signed up for this, sure. But any man who reacted like that very clearly didn’t want to be here. Maybe there was a reason that the guy didn’t pay his way out of the draft. Maybe he had a family who forced him into this. Truthfully, that wouldn’t be a stretch to believe, considering how many parents he had seen back at home, dragging their older sons to the recruitment office to be sent off to fight in the jungles of Vietnam. He had taken a point to try to be more attentive after that night. Wanting to see exactly what kind of man Twig was, beyond the rumors and insults that the others had spoken. He was talking to him more than he had before, putting in more of an effort to be closer to him the same way Ponytail was with their Johnny. He had noticed how attentive Twig seemed to be to both him and John, his intelligence, and how he cared so much about them despite being terrified himself. There was no doubt in his mind. Twig was a good man, one he was proud to call his friend despite the differences between them and despite any insults or rumors anyone else may throw about.
He had no doubt in his mind that Terrence Silver was the type of man he would take a bullet for.
