Sure, but we’re not just talking about preference of new or old, we’re talking about people being killed. Sure, a copy of them would be there for the new Scottsdale, but that occurred before the deletion announcement was made. The original citizens, however, lived through the apocalypse situation of the deletion. Me and a friend of mine have actually asked the tenderclaws team some questions through emails, so we’ve gotten a few answers on our questions. They did confirm that The Board could’ve chosen to copy themselves as well, but didn’t since deletion is traumatic. (Aka, the board is hypocritical. And comically evil as stated by butter when listening into SizeMediumLatte’s and WSYIWYG’s conversation [though I don’t blame you if you didn’t, it was weird]) Marty states themself that they convinced humans to leave their bodies for the digital world, and how it isn’t fair to them to have done that just to be killed for profit. Though I do question whether that sense of justice carries over to AI, the point is that the citizens are also stuck in deletion, and are made to die because The Board wanted more money.
I actually laughed at Size Medium Late's and Wizzywig's interaction, because yes, they were being a bit cartoonishly evil and hypocritical, but also all the board members were fun enough characters that I didn't mind.
Also that does bring up an interesting question, Marty cares so much about the humans that are dying, even though they're copied over to the next project, and yet they don't seem to care as much about the AI. Or maybe they do but they don't get as much of a chance to discuss it.
All this discussion about the ethics of killing someone if you've already copied them over brings up memories of when I played SOMA, and the discussions therein about the coin flip. Where by copying yourself you're flipping a coin, you get heads and you end up as the copy, you get tails and you're stuck where you were before.
In VVR1 when you're copied into chaz you see both sides of the coin, you see yourself getting uploaded, and then a tube is pushed into chaz and he continues talking to you even though he gets farther and farther away, and then once he's fully gone several chaz bots come by and vaporize you. Then you're on the other side of the coin inside of chaz.
Then in this game, we once again lost the coin flip, there's another drip who probably won the limbo competition because they don't have legs, so they can get right down low to the ground, but they never actually got their voice box fixed because, with the board gone, there was no one to delegate resources in the new venture and the support team probably wont do all 100,000+ maintenance requests without a dedicated resource stream.
This also means that my Drip X Boa ship ideas are still technically viable!

Zer0S for The Idea
** What is your Idea? **
My idea's name is "**Zer0S**" pronounced "Zeroes".
**What is Zer0S?** Zer0S is an immersive and interactive mudbox application which is a completely cloud-based, multi-platform, live-streaming, (XR) mixed media and reality virtualization interface that affords the user the interpretation and manipulation of massively-multi-sourced online digital media via cloud(s) that can remotely render objects or instances. All of the software and processing is cloud-based, the majority of processing being done at remote facilities or by applications on remote virtual servers. All essential files are remotely installed or accessed, and the only necessary technical interface needed is for the user to install the client through the Zer0S Cloud initially and thereafter the Zer0S autonomous patching client will remain connected and update your device(s) with web access and cloud content. If you have a mobile service or carrier associated with your device, that allows for remote accessibility. Access to wifi with the highest speed connection as well as a device with optimized hardware for XR is desirable but not at all required.
Zer0S gained its name by zero meaning no quantity or nothing, yet this also implies it has infinite scalability, and that the intangible is the basis of everything. The '0S' in the name implies it is an operating system, which it is not, however it is fully capable of streaming a virtual OS.
**So why Zer0S?** Why now? Our time in COVID-19 lockdown has incubated us and developed our technophilia, so far as necessitating assimilation to an online and digitized version of life as we know it. Our everyday routines, types of recreation, operations in our workplaces, and local production has been redefined. This online lifestyle of work and recreation we have adopted just to stay 'more connected' can be enhanced by the affordability of currently emerging technologies. Examples such as Microsoft Azure and their most recent Hololens proves that there is the possibility for this type of deeply intuitive, connected and open-source interface that the world has barely explored **6, 12**
Who is Zer0S for? Humans have shown resiliency to hardship, and the ability to adapt, especially when they're backed in a corner or when we collaborate in numbers via the unseen paradigm of online social interconnectedness and exceptional technological ingenuity, which is founded by the innate virtue of empathy. Using the current and emerging technologies that are available, we are developing them to be in the hands of every potential user, mainly as a tool for productivity and ingenuity, or a virtual workspace. It could also be used as an immersive teaching or studio space, or a virtual daycare to keep the kids occupied while everyone is under one roof. Everyday user-friendly applications in mixed reality - this is where I see Zer0S being used.
**The Heart of Zer0S** How Zer0S is different Zer0S is based on and designed to be a multiplatform cloud-based virtualization program or application of Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Hololens Emulation software. The virtualization of the software is done remotely and streamed to the user's devices in real-time. It is endeavored to be able to run on all currently available PCs, laptops, consoles and mobile devices with serviceable hardware (and a high-speed internet connection).
Zer0S is predominantly being developed to be used in virtual reality headset applications, however, that is because the UI's functionality is very similar to current VR clients such as Oculus or SteamVR. Controllers for Zer0S will aim to be hand, eye, face and/or body-based tracking, (such as being implemented in Oculus Quest and Microsoft Hololens2), a low cost solution is using a common mobile smart phone to serve as a HMD (Head mounted display), in an appropriate cardboard template housing. With additional hardware such as other controllers, including USB, Bluetooth or wifi-connected devices will also be functional if your devices have the capabilities.
**Zer0S is 'Life in the Clouds' Communication, Humanity and Interconnectivity are the founding principles behind Zer0S. **Zer0S is intended to connect the user to an intuitive and immersive mixed reality user interface that offers the virtue of freedom and interactivity with other users in a virtual or augmented environment.**  **12**
___________________________________________________
**Staying in-sync**
Any applications or augmented layers executed within the programs remain active and interactable as long as you are connected to a/the Zer0S Cloud. As soon as you are disconnected from the cloud, all of your virtual local environment will have been saved and remain active online as an object with a geolocation cache, or it can be locally attached to reappear near you when reconnecting to the cloud.
Users with Zer0S installed can offer the processing power of their devices to the processing of the cloud information. We will have our own service through the Zer0S cloud that will allow the servers to distribute loads, and build states across a stable and interconnected cloud of devices and servers. **11**
While the device is disconnected, the program generally does simple administrative or diagnostic tasks but it requires the online connectivity to update the client with the most recent public or developer interactivity so that upon wanting to use the Zer0S UI and functionality the user's device is able to interact with a clean naturally patched, seamless and streaming online environment.
As long as the internet connection is stable and the client is not impeded by external processes will determine how seamless and endless your user experience with Zer0S will be. In other words, how fast information can be sent or received and rendered by the client in a window or object in the Zer0S UI. The user's device and internet connection speed is the limit to the user experience as the OS software has many levels of complexity, including hardware diagnostics, and calibrating optimal operation based on the usage of a device, which is constantly monitored against server-wide Zer0S cloud users and their experiences.
__________________________________________________________
** A Walk-ThrUI **
The UI of Zer0S is quite simple. Upon opening the interface you'll have bold, customizable and interactive blue or gold bars around the window's boundaries that allow you to add or edit layers, environments or filters. Create, edit or spawn instances or transform your virtualized objects. Instances are virtual rooms, and virtualized objects are data being rendered in an intuitive form to interact within the UI. If you have a touchscreen interface you may interact this way, or, if you have your hands free, you can use your hands for an intuitive tactile interface. The cloud offers maximum functionality relative to your hardware although the UI for the client and 'home' menu will be rendered in a 3 or 4-dimensional environment that users will be able to interact with. Zer0S is optimized to be used in virtual reality headsets, but Zer0S encourages using the hardware you have available and Zer0S will give you the best user experience it can offer.
Software developers will have the opportunity to adapt or reimagine their applications to operate to the fullest potential in Zer0S's UI (user interface). Desktop Virtualization of other current OS's, applications and programs are encouraged and available to be accessed from shared Zer0S servers from the Zer0S UI to engage users, offer functionality and endless accessibility. With this cross-platform-cloud-accessibility, it is easy to exchange and share data over to the Zer0S framework, applications, databases and resources, to really 'bridge-the-gap' in our evolving socially online lives. ____________________________________________________________
Zer0S is hardly revolutionary; as an idea, it has been around since antiquity, however as a concept that has the likelihood of being implemented, all the elements of Zer0S comprise of technology we already have had at our disposal for a number of years. A web search will reveal how common this universal technology is except for a practical and seamless interface and is a popular UI for users without needing access to mixed reality equipment to gain the benefits of mixed reality.
These technologies (examples) include but are not limited to: Cross-platform development (PC to XBOX), (PC to MAC); **1** VR, AR (Tendar)**2**, XR (SteamVR), **3** face or body recognition (Instagram), real-time motion and 3D tracking (Xbox Kinect 2.0 or Instagram), **4** GPS tracking (Google Maps), **5** depth of field and non-physical UI interfaces (Microsoft Hololens), **6** cloud-sharing (OneDrive, Azure or Adobe Creative Cloud), **7** wearable digital displays (Nintendo Labo or GoogleCardboard), **8** Designing for the future, Social Critical Design **9** AI voice-assistant engines (Siri, Cortana, Alexa), **10**

Meet 'George in the Tub', a Presidential immersive real-time interactive VR Experience
VR funding platform Kaleidoscope has announced the debut of GEORGE IN THE TUB, an immersive real-time interactive VR experience created by studio Tender Claws. George in the Tub lets you inhabit the body of the 43rd president, and enjoy a quiet soak while you partake in your favorite activity: painting a self-portrait.
Tumblr media
The experience serves as a prototype for a larger project that expands upon this voyeurism of President Bush. In the game, players relax in a bathtub while simultaneously painting with a VR controller. As the painting takes shape, it’s revealed by way of the subject matter that they’re inhabiting the body of former US president George W. Bush. The game was picked up by VR funding platform Kaleidoscope last year. I'm so hyped for this VR experience by @TenderClaws in which you are GW Bush painting a self portrait in the tub, all faithfully based on the former president's arthttps://t.co/N5fnAAvrlk pic.twitter.com/nFsA8skDgX — Paolo Pedercini 🌹 (@molleindustria) February 26, 2018 The game appears to be inspired by two infamous self-portraits painted by the former US president, one of himself in the tub and the other in a shower. This might have had a bigger impact in 2013, when those portraits were revealed. The studio behind the game, Tender Claws, has been working in VR since 2002. Their most recent game is Virtual Virtual Reality, a satirical Daydream VR game in which you play a human working as a companion for AI inside virtual reality worlds (VR inside VR, roll credits). The description of the game on Google Play contains the phrase “An artichoke screams at you,”. I can’t send this from my ranma side blog but I love love LOVE your warrior cats au 🩷 definitely art that I get excited about whenever you post
Know that I think about “Have we not been mates for moons now??” Like at least once a week or more it’s such a wonderful quote ❤️
THANK YOUUUU LOL THEYRE SO FUNNYYY
streamswitch, after publicly declaring multiple times that he's the one who is going to be her mate: why does everyone know i have a crush on her wtf!!!
I decided that by the end of their equivalent of the ryugenzawa arc tenderclaw decides to accept him (since they get a lot more affectionate from that point on in the series) when she tells him she doesn't love cypress (shinnosuke) and wants to go home together. And streamswitch just doesn't make the connection despite them sharing a nest from that point on 💀

A Magical Coral Orgy Took Over Miami's New World Symphony Hall
To witness Miami's ability to simultaneously fulfill and upend its stereotypes, look no further than the Borscht Film Festival. It's a chaotic, sleepless week of actual boating and two afterparties for every event, but it's also consistently sublime, strangely paradisiacal. Arguably the most-hyped event of Borscht Diez, the festival's tenth edition, was the Coral Orgy. Last Friday night, the Frank Gehry-designed New World Symphony building became a maddening funhouse of virtual reality, art, and psychedelia, each room its own immersive microcosm.
The 'Orgy' took its named for its main event: a massive projection-mapping of Coral Morphologic's overpowering visions of corals engaged in reproductive rituals throughout the building's main performance hall. High above the seats, huge, curved walls became a kaleidoscopic array of neon sea creatures, with bean bag chairs where the symphony would be, and an otherworldly live score by none other than Animal Collective. Coral Morphologic, the hybrid bio-art studio responsible for creating the visuals, understands the profound significance of reefs. The musician/marine biologist duo have been creating trippy videos of organically neon corals in their natural habitats for years, creating art that draws attention to the importance of the ocean's health through  means as psychedelic as they are educational.
Corals projected in New World Symphony's lobby.
There was much to explore that night at the New World Center, a sprawling structure whose exterior walls, facing the Miami Beach Soundscape Park, featured the coral projections as well. At the beginning of the night, producer and musician Nick León performed, while in a room nearby, a projection of artwork by Eric Cade Schoenborn mutated the den into a deep green, glitched-out Everglades forest.
New World Symphony practice rooms became salons for immersive virtual reality experiences, with guests lining up to take part one or two at a time. Some were wholly virtual, like Rachel Rossin's headset-based  Time-Scrubbing, SIAG, which recalls the unsettling, ripped-to-pieces domesticity of Michelangelo Antonioni's  Zabriskie Point. Others were more physical. Mattia Casalegno's  The Open, which enveloped and isolated participants in a mask lined with the chemicals released by grass right after it's been cut.
Mattia Casalegno, The Open.
Between the miniature rooms and the main hall, attendees were treated to videos and VR experiences by Jacolby Satterwhite, the Institute for New Feeling, the Digital Museum of Digital Art, Michael John Hancock III, Leo Castañeda. Upstairs, a VR experience by Mayer/Leyva + Tenderclaws invited guests to step into a bathtub and become George W. Bush, painter and bathtub enthusiast. It seemed impossible experience it all, making it up to the viewer to curate their own night. Many people spent its entirety on the beanbags in the main hall. At one point, electronic musician and artist Hot Sugar, who performed before Animal Collective, asked the languid crowd, "Are you all still out there? Everybody's so chill."
Corals projections in New World Symphony's lobby.
On the other hand, performance artist and musician Joseph Keckler's opera, about a mushroom trip gone awry, was anything but chill—Keckler's impeccable sense of timing had everyone on their toes. Then, Otto Von Schirach performed a ritual straight from the Bermuda Triangle. With Mayan pyramids projected onto a screen behind him, goddesses dressed in Santeria garb floated through the crowd, drawing white triangles on the audience's foreheads. Von Schirach is known for bringing heavy Miami booty bass and ritualistic, Spanglish prayer seances to his performances, but this time he prepared us for the coral orgy (and the rest of the future) to come. "If you are from the Bermuda Triangle," he declared, "your sperm is made of coral and your eggs are made of light. Bring forth the light beings into the world, to fight the evil reptile creatures spreading greed."
Otto Von Schirach's bass ritual.
Following Von Schirach's blessing, the main hall quickly filled up for  Coral Orgy, but nothing, not the crowd nor the performance, remained static. In hues of pink, green, deep red, blue, the coral glowed nearly all the way to the ceiling, some looking like tall trees with stretched, curved hands for fingers, while others were globular and bulbous, swollen with color and folding into themselves, like replicating cells. For relatively unmoving bodies, corals are colorful and surprisingly fluid. They sometimes appeared to sing, their neon-green circular orifices opening and closing in serendipitous time with the music.
Animal Collective's Avey Tare.
The soundtrack reflected their unexpected dynamics. Animal Collective, sans Panda Bear, built subtle, droning layers, vocals only audible enough to sound like chants, seemingly guiding the sounds by the corals' movements. The music swayed, doubled back on itself, and, at other moments, released explosively. When the corals began their actual sex ritual, it looked like a scene from outer space, cosmic dust tendrils floating through the sea and connecting with each other. We even got a glimpse of the creation of new corals, white, star-like babies in the pitch black-blue of the sea.
Coral Orgy.
Procreation at a festival that took death as its theme was poetic, not just biological. Borscht "Diez" translates to Borscht Ten, and the whole festival kicked off with a Viking funeral—every Borscht film was placed on a hard drive and set aflame. Says Lucas Leyva, Borscht co-founder, "Our city, specifically Miami Beach, is built on the bones of dead corals—limestone—and we make our buildings out of them. Miami Beach will be one of the first cities to be underwater [after sea level rise] and become a 'lost city,' and the corals are going  to recolonize it and live on top of their ancestors' bones. We were living on them for a while. Now, they're going to live on our bones. Projection mapping their sex lives points to that cyclical nature of existing. It's procreation. That implies some kind of hope, even if it's not an anthropocentric hope. It is a hope for life in some capacity, and beautiful life."
Corals projections in Soundscape Park.
Indeed, it was beautiful. But just as Miami as a setting may be a marker for climate change and sea-level rise, the corals, too, represented the dangers threatening the ocean. Says Colin Foord, one-half of Coral Morphologic, "Worldwide coral reefs are under threat from global warming, polluted runoff, and human overuse. Coral Morphologic believes that unlocking the secrets of coral sex is one of the most important scientific achievements we must pass on our quest towards preserving a sustainable future for our biosphere and all its inhabitants. Life on a future Earth without living coral reefs...is a risk that we cannot afford to pass on to unborn generations, who will be forced to contend with whatever we leave them long after we're gone."
Otto Von Schirach's bass ritual.

🎮🎭 Performing live in The Under Presents 🕰 While many speak of this metaverse, we’re fortunate to live within and see first hand what dreams may come, meta verse by verse 📜, as we daily perform, entertain, and connect with others live in this virtual space. All thanks to @tenderclaws 🙏 When I said this gig was history in the making back in 2020, I had no idea to what extent; Communities sprang that are creative & kind Small yet mighty, like dandelion spores Off to populate future fields, drifting on winds of ones and zeros.. Armed with imagination and Unity Figuring it out as we go along. There’s something punk rock about that.. Like the Velvet Underground, around just a few years for those lucky enough to catch them live. Or the DIY Los Angeles immersive scene (just as fleeting, and memorable to those who were there), whom many stars of which make up the live actor cast of TUP. I’m proud to be among them making moments and memories in this world.. Guiding the Ouija board, if that’s a thing.. I think we’re all just doing it 🙌 It is our Present, in The Under 💫🧅 #TheUnderPresents #liveNPC #meta #verse #byverse #TenderClaws #virtualreality #oculus #metaquest #metaverse #metaforall? #immersive #interactive #immersivetheatre #immersiveperson #vractor #virtualreality #sweeper 🧹 (at Metaverse - Earth & Beyond) https://www.instagram.com/p/CclZxwLPEpz/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

❤️💫🌀 And just like that, these actors, these spirits, were melted into air...into thin air ✨ The level of meta, of innovation, of community and heart and storytelling encompassed in this experience is beyond anything I can express. Each memory and moment now becomes a grain of sand in The Under, where the crobs dig deep and the humble Sweeper whom I had the honor to play this whole past year resides to this day to serve the sprites who remain and still play. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Samantha, Danny, Tanya, Eli, Paisley, J, Cynthia, and everyone at @tenderclaws for this undeniably life changing experience. Thank you to all of the cast of actors with whom we’ve all now obtained a phd in live VR performance 🎓it will always be an honor to share any stage with you anytime, anywhere. And lastly but not least to the players with whom we danced the whole livelong year, you are the historians now and forever of the stories of The Under. These are such things as dreams are made on, and our little life rounded with a sleep ❤️✨🧹🌀🦀 #TheUnderPresents #tenderclaws #TheUnderPresentsTempest #immersivetheatre #liveevents #virtualreality #immersive #vrtheatre #immersiveinteractive #immersiveactor #vractor #ractor #shakespeare #story #wearesuchstuffasdreamsaremadeon (at The Under) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNBWPH5Jl2E/?igshid=i99wuxfdvozl
