they end up getting kidnapped and held for ransom…by an infamous pirate. you guessed it!! ✨technoblade✨

phil is a renowned mercenary, recently retired and bored out of his mind. the king doesn’t want the story of his children running away from him to get out (it’s embarrassing and incriminating) sooooo, he hires phil to get them back

cue the found family!!!! techno and phil realize how badly the king screwed wilbur and tommy up

and soooooo he just doesn’t bring them back home

it takes some convincing, but techno finally allows phil and the boys to stay in the…relatively…safe space that is techno’s home when he’s not off pirating

Crimeboys being royalty is so funny in contrast with emduo being men against the law like theyre not spoiled exactly they have struggled in mistreatment but theres also still the factor of living in comfort as royalty and Techno can only offer ok living quarters but its still amazing to them. Techno, showing them the sleeping quarters tucked in the corner of the ship like “Sorry youre probably used to actual beds but this is what we got” “no no this is perfect-“ “THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME”

Also the angst factor of Tommy and Wil fearing being sent Back more than being kidnapped in general. Techno sees the way they freeze up at being told theyll eventually go back to the castle once the money comes through and hes like “hm. Odd reaction for kids lost from home. Shouldnt they be relieved?”

Also them being fearful of Phil when they find out he’s there to take them back too. He tries to calm them down by being like “i was sent by your father the king im here to take you home” thinking thatll have them go along quietly and instead they just start screaming “TECHNOOOOO”
