after a romantic dinner. he drives you home from taking you to your date with him at a fancy dinner he had arranged, wanting you to show how he really loves you and would want to take the relationship into the next step. he walks you to the front porch of your house, standing near the doorstep. before he says goodbye, he says how much he enjoyed the date, and you say the same. there is a still sound of silence of him staring at you. then, he leans in to capture your lips to his. the rhythm of your mouths moving against each other is slow, but good enough for the both of you to feel the butterflies in your stomachs. he smiles at you when you pull away, and then his hand reached for your own, kissing the back of your palm before he leaves the neighborhood. kun will never forget such a memorable moment.

during a game of spin the bottle. at first he laughs, staring at the empty wine bottle landing in your direction. with the rest of the players anticipating, he isn't afraid to back out. he hates being called a coward. he makes no hesitation before smashing his lips against yours. there's still the taste of alcohol both of you consumed just moments ago. besides the liquor, he also feels drunk with the way he keeps pressing his lips deeper and his tongue swiping on your bottom lip as a permission for more access. ten merely forgets the audience watching him, focusing entirely to make you feel good and pleased. when he pulls away, he gets a good view of your lips, smeared and coated with his own saliva, and lipstick smudged from the corners of your mouth. seeing you in that state gives him a satisfied look on his face, a smug creeping up from his lips.

saying goodbye to him. sicheng is given the opportunity to finally pursue the passion he loves, but it hurts him to know that he needs to leave where he already finds and calls home—you. both of you stand before the pane glass doorframes of the airport, sicheng's hand holds onto the handle of his luggage, while the other never leaves yours. it's all going too fast. the grip on your hand tightens. you notice the way he's trying to hold to his emotions, how hard he's trying to stifle his sobs. he feels you return the same tightness on his hand, assuring him that everything will be fine. a hand slowly creeps up to gently touch his already stained cheeks. he's going to miss you, so much. sicheng's hand clasps around the hand where you touch him, pulling it down. and there, you feel his plump lips on yours. it's trembling, and of course, it's sad. you don't tell him to stay through your reciprocation, but instead, it tells him to go, to chase what he loves.

acting out a kiss scene. it's the first rehearsal of the play the casts are going to act in, including the two of you. it's no surprise when both of you find out to be the leads of the play. dejun thinks that it will go as smoothly as possible, given the fact that the two of you are comfortable with each other of everything, and you think so too. as all of you are reading the script, the director reminds you of the kiss scenes, so when the actual practice came, dejun tells himself that the kiss is and only for professional purposes. he composes himself before standing in front of you with a smile. you say your lines, enunciating them word for word with feelings to embody the character as he does the same. his hands reaches for your own just like what it says on the script, and wasting no time, he plants a kiss on your lips. you don't move, but he feels his stomach doing the somersaults. all he can think about at this very moment is your soft lips, your grip on his hand tightens, your eyelashes tickling his cheeks—then it's all gone when you pull away. looking at each other for a few seconds, a sudden fit of laughter bursts out from the two of you. both of you suppress your giggles when the director yells, telling you and dejun to stop laughing and concentrate on the script.

hendery

out of curiosity. he stares at you with a surprised expression on his face after hearing you ask how a kiss feels like. it's not like he doesn't know how to kiss someone as he had gained experiences from previous relationships, and clearly this was your first. his mind go dizzy when you ask him to kiss you. he isn't sure if it's only his mind playing him, but with a couple slaps across his face, it's not a dream. before kissing you, hendery makes sure to ask if you're still okay with the idea, never forgetting to seek for your consent. with a hand on your neck and the other to cup your cheek, your lips are on his. the lingering touch of your hands on his chest traveling around his neck causes him to smile in between the kiss. he also makes sure that you're satisfied with the kiss he shares with you, in a way that will make you feel good and relieve to know that you just had the best first kiss ever given by your own friend. hendery can't seem to sleep the following nights, replaying the scene over and over again, as he starts to fall in love with you.

yangyang

in the heat of the moment. he understands why you're mad at him for completely ruining your date with a person you recently talked to. yangyang warns you over again that the guy isn't good for you, that his background isn't something that's worth to be with. he watches you pace around the room, telling him that he has no right to deny a relationship you want to have, telling him that he should mind his own business. he couldn't do that. he knows what's best for you because he cares for your happiness. if it weren't for him, you will be trapped in a toxic unbearable relationship that might emotionally and mentally break you. what he wants for you to realize that there is one who could actually treat and love you better—him. yangyang grabs you by the shoulders, snapping you out. you break free from his tight grip, wanting to turn around and leave the room. that is until you feel his hand tug your arm back to face him as he finally smashes his lips against yours. the kiss is nowhere near sweet and full of passion. it's rough, lips smacking against each other, teeth scraping the skin and muscle of your tongues, and short hot breaths filling the quiet room. he's angry, you're angry, but neither of you pull away.

BACKGROUND/HEADCANONS.

Kan sempre fora do meio artístico. Ao menos, é isso que sua mãe sempre diz quando fala dele para suas amigas e familiares. Desde muito novo desenhar, pintar, cantar e apresentar pequenas peças de teatro que ele e seus irmãos e primos inventavam ali mesmo no chão do quarto eram seus passatempos prediletos. Quando a dança surgiu entre os seus interesses, sua mãe julgou ser passageiro e que ele voltaria aos passatempos usuais, mas quando o som da música abafada no quarto, tampouco o dos pés no chão, tentando a todo custo reproduzir os passos de dança que via na televisão não pararam, ela entendeu, com um sorriso, que aquele era seu filho, nascido para performar, não importando o que fosse.

Com o tempo, as perguntas sobre seu futuro começaram a aparecer e, para a surpresa de ninguém, quando criança ele respondia que queria ser pintor. Na adolescência, cantor e mais para frente decidiu que seria ator. “Ou quem sabe tudo isso de uma vez", completou com um dar de ombros despreocupado, característico daqueles que têm uma visão otimista do futuro.

Quando chegou a hora de decidir seu futuro, a universidade sempre esteve em sua mente, mas não ali em Bangkok. Durante seus últimos anos no Ensino Médio, Kan tivera contato com o mundo do Kpop e, com isso, seus olhos se encheram com a possibilidade de realizar tudo o que sonhou. Tudo muito experimental a princípio, a empresa lhe concedeu pequenos papéis em alguma dramas e filmes; um figurante aqui, um outro figurante ali, até que em 2019 ele fez seu debut, também experimental, como ator no papel de Suriya Saetang (og. Ji Hyun-joong), um funcionário no famoso “Hotel de Luna”. O sucesso do drama, assim como sua capacidade de conquistar os telespectadores através de seu papel, fizeram com que ele conseguisse o papel Sam (og. Choi Youngjae) **em *“Me Tira Daqui”* em 2021.

Prologue: How far will things go with this random guy you met online? It might not always be as simple.

It wasn't too long ago since you started stalking this one account, banana_brushes. All their feed ever had to offer was art, which was probably their own, and cats, which you assumed were also theirs. You were sure you had seen a hundred other profiles updating with the same thing, but this just felt different from day one.

You still consider yourself very lucky though, the astonishment on your face was very real the day the same user slid into your DMs. No, you never interacted with any of their posts so there was no chance of getting caught, all you ever did was simply view. 

"Hey there, I hope I'm not being annoying but would you let me know what medium did you use for the watery thing effect in your last post?" You thought it was a genuine query, which it was, making you leave an immediate reply.

"Thanks, I run an art account too, though."

It was from that very moment you started talking with this random guy online. In a week or more the talks matured from arts and cats to somewhat general ones, you see, how any two strangers would get to know each other.

The two of you now held deep conversations, as time passed. Even though it was only via typing on a social media platform. Maybe it was due to the fact that you knew things would always stay anonymous. There was an absolute zero possibility of seeing or meeting him in the flesh, your real identities would never be revealed, thus blessing you with the freedom to not hold back any opinions, or to spit out whatever the fuck your heart wanted you. You knew you could always block him or report him if things ever went south. To you, it was so much better than having to interact with real-life people. Yeah, call it living in a fake world or whatever, but at least this was something that made you feel at ease.

Your conversations with banana_brushes still continued as smoothly as a rom-com movie, and it was not until this fine evening that you started to see him in a different light.

Your attention was diverted to your notifications as soon as you came home from a trashy day of work, it was him again, and you didn't know for what reason in the heavens, it made you smile.

"Since I've never seen you, I drew what I think you would look like."

He captioned a picture with another one of his works, which he made keeping you in mind, making your lips curve themselves again. Just pondering over the thought that a person did put in some sort of effort while thinking of you was beyond precious, provided the fact that he was not "real". You never saw him, let alone meet him in the flesh. The art piece was phenomenal, as expected. He really knew his brushes. It was not like he traced an angel onto the canvas, it was what anyone would label as "ordinary" but maybe that was what made you resonate with it in a flash of a second.

"Hmm, well full marks for the effort, and that's actually quite pretty! thanks." You replied back without wasting a minute.

"And, I kind of think I look better than that." You teased him, and the text was sent along with a tongue-out winking emoji. 

"Oh! I would have no clue." He was still typing as you glued your eyeballs to the screen. "The only thing I have ever seen is your art."

With a raised eyebrow, you ran your fingers across your keypad. There was no way you were going to let this sassy stranger win. 

"The only thing I have ever seen is your cats". With this, you dropped your phone onto the bed. This was one of the many perks of talking to people online, disconnecting at any time you felt like.

The next morning was nothing special. The same cycle of waking up, getting ready, and leaving for work. There were times you really sat and pondered something interesting happening in your life, at least for once as you sipped on your coffee. Life was no better than the stagnant lake waters. 

The last time you remember having an adrenaline rush was probably the night before your job interview. It has been two years since then.

"No way in fucking hell!" You cursed under your breath, making sure you blinked a dozen times and pinching yourself. 

You took quick steps towards the table, grabbing the canvas in your hands. It was the same that the Instagram guy sent you last night. What on earth was it doing here at your office? Did he manage to track your address down? What if he were a creep? Oh, how could you ever be so stupid to forget the dark side of this alluring internet?

It also seemed like your morning wish had come true, for the adrenaline hormone kicked it, along with this strange feeling in your gut.

"Excuse me?" You heard a voice from behind, you turned back out of reflex, with a pale face and mouth hanging open.

The man looked at you with an uncomfortable stare, pointing to the article you held in your hands. "Ummm, that?" He questioned. Did it by any chance belong to him? For the sake of God, let it be his.

"Ten?" You asked in disbelief.

"You know me?" He inquired back, with a change of tone.

Of course, you knew him. Even though this was the first face-to-face interaction you both had had in the last two years, you were well aware of his presence.

"If I'm not wrong, you are Y/N? I think I've seen you at the cafeteria a few times, you're a part of the-"

"Wait, you have cats?" You cut his unnecessary words off.

He was taken aback, how did you come to know about his precious babies? Before he could comprehend, you thew another question on his way. "And since when do you draw?"  This guy was not understanding a thing, his face showed that he could not make out, as though you spoke Greek. 

There was no time to waste. You hurriedly rummaged through your tote bag, pulling out your phone. 

"User banana underscore brushes?" You flashed your Instagram screen right before his eyes, which kept on getting wider and wider.

"User i know my underscore brushes?"  He took a long breath, nodding his head. "That was you?" He reciprocated the same reactions you displayed about a minute ago.

"Now you know embarrassing things about me! Hold on you also know my life problems?! Please don't tell the boss I called him a dick the other day!" He blurted out in a single breath, eyes wandering from left to right at the speed of light, palming his face out of embarrassment.

But it was not only you that had this advantage, texts had always been mutual.

"Only if you don't tell him that it was me who changed the PPT link to that of Dora the Explorer last week, and also just ignore all the bitching I've ever done about this place." You declared, resting your hands on your hips. 

"What the fuck? That was you!?" He burst into a shrill laugh.

"Huh?" You exclaimed.

"I mean that was super fun, also, I won't tell anyone. Deal?" His offer only made sense.

"Deal!" You raised your hand up, earning a high-five from him.

Before you could go back and continue with your otherwise boring day, ten interrupted. "Y/N!" 

"You're good at drawing and stuff." This came out of nowhere, why was he trying to make it awkward?

"Thanks, you've told me that before, and so are you!" You shined a tooth-wide smile as you turned back again, signalling your leave.

"Do you have any pets?" He asked abruptly, as though he had been caught with a gun near a corpse.

"I already told you that I did not." You laughed awkwardly again.

"Then let's go get some coffee." Ten offered. 

"Right now?" This was not a confirmation from your side but a denial. You stood there as you looked at him with a confused face again. 

Confusion has reigned supreme in this scenario throughout.

He took out his phone with the Kuromi phone grip out of his back pocket, his fingers were running like crazy, and there were visible beads of sweat on his forehead. You thought he had just offered you coffee.

You too started to do the same, smartphones turned out to be lifesavers in awkward situations. 

The first thing you noticed was the unseen messages from Ten yesterday, you must have ignored them last night until it turned out they were not meant to be ignored.

Ten, on the other hand, buried his face in his palms, not having the courage to face you, he was too late, by now you had read it all.

"You what?" You questioned in disbelief. "Yo-you have a crush on me?"

He was ready with an explanation even before you finished. "I think it's a bit more than that now that I know who you are, Y/N." He expressed, his tone sincere, looking at you directly and making eye contact with you.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry Y/N I did not want to let you know like this, who confesses like this-"

He talked a lot, and you were cutting him off, a lot.

You took steps closer, inches away from his body, holding him by the shoulders, trying to lean closer.

"Are-are you going to kiss me now?" He stammered. 

"May I?" You asked.

Ten nodded before shutting his eyes. You did the same and brought yourself closer, his awkward hands held you by the waist. The touch was sweet, creating a tingling sensation in your body. No, this was not your first kiss, but it sure felt special.

It felt like the blow on a wound, comforting. It felt like a scratch on the neck, satisfying, and it felt like a glass of wine, soothing. 

You caressed his pink lips with your thumb as you pulled back. 

"Does this mean you like me back?" He asked with curious eyes and now you could clearly appreciate his cat-like features. Soft, yet sharp.

"I think it means that most of the time, so yeah." You said.

"Makes sense." Ten giggled, his sassy self seemed to have melted away with one kiss.

"Also" he continued "That painting stands nowhere in front of you, you're way prettier." He remarked with a subtle smile.

"No no please this doesn't suit you!" You hit his hand playfully before the laughter erupted between you two once again.

Finally, in the midst of a boring life, a bright spot.

Kun wouldn’t be too fazed if another member walked in on him making out with you. He would just sternly tell them to knock next time and shoo them away from his room. He’d be down to get back to what you were just doing if you were still willing. 

Ten

Ten is a wild man. Does he care that one of the members just walked in on the two of you making out? No. Did he stop when said member walked in? Absolutely not. Unless you pull away, he’s not stopping for anything. If the member didn’t want to watch, they could leave. 

Sicheng

Sicheng didn’t expect any of the other members to be home this early and to just waltz into his room looking for him. Man, did Sicheng’s face turn bright red when one of the members caught the two of you. He would probably be too embarrassed to continue your heated activities.

Lucas

Lucas would be a bit embarrassed after getting caught but that wouldn’t deter him from continuing. He knew he’d get teased by the others later but that didn’t matter much to him. There was a cute red tint to the tips of his ears as he let out a shy giggle before going back to kissing you passionately. 

Xiaojun

Aww poor Xiaojun would get so shy. His face would be beet red even after the member that had just walked in on you two left. He’d need some time to recover from his embarrassment but once he knew it was safe to get back to making out, he would. 

Hendery

Hendery wouldn’t be too deterred by someone walking in on the two of you making out. He may be a tad flustered and have a bit of a blush on his cheeks but once the member left the room, Hendery was back on you, his desires taking over again. 

YangYang

YangYang wouldn’t care much if someone walked in on the two of you. He may get a tad annoyed but he’d just ask the member to quickly leave so he could return to his activities. You could tell he was a bit embarrassed though, the light pink tint on his ears gave it away.

⊱ WayV as Hybrids Pt. 2 (ft. Xiaojun, Hendery, Yangyang)

!! Kun - Bear Hybrid. 

Appearance: With light colored hair, there are a pair of round fuzzy ears with a darker shade of brown, resembling a bear’s and followed with a round tail; he is one of the few hybrids who has sharp teeth due to his hybrid characteristics

First Impression: Very polite and well-spoken, isn’t exactly timid nor afraid but he is definitely uncomfortable with his new surroundings. He tries his best to make conversation, but ends up making the situation awkward or very dry; he definitely grew distant after those awkward attempts though

After a week’s passing, Kun remains respectful and shows a higher maturity than most, but he is less awkward! The bear hybrid is always asking how was your day or starting small talk to look after your well-being

Love Language: Quality time and Acts of Services; he loves to cook for you and hang out with you, whether it be outside or inside the house. He is always listening if you ever need advice or need someone to listen whenever you have complaints. If you ever need any help, let him know! Kun is always keeping an eye on you and making his way towards you, if he sees you struggling

He is keen on your dislikes/likes, always remembering the smallest details in conversations; as your personal cook, he knows what you dislike or allergic to - he definitely uses his sense of smell to know if any food has ingredients that may cause a reaction

You two do have moments of teasing one another and him being incredibly playful; he enjoys play wrestling with you, but he is incredibly gentle due to his bear-like strength

He has an independent nature to him where he doesn’t ask for much nor does he need lots of attention, overall he is low maintenance and most cases you are the one being taken care of than the other way around; this doesn’t seem to bother him, however

No matter how long you are out the house/apartment, Kun is always greeting you by the door and asking how your day went; he would even eat dinner with you, despite his food being cold or it’s very late in the night

As a bear hybrid, Kun has a very large appetite and he would sometimes be seen sleeping a lot during winter time (he does not hibernate, he just sleeps longer); you will need to buy lots of ingredients for him to make larger portions for himself - if there are any leftovers, he always has room to eat them

Gives the BEST hugs due to his naturally warm body; he is your personal heater and teddy bear  - if you ever need a hug or some cuddles, he is always there with open arms

He is a very patient and sociable hybrid, as he can be seen being friendly with strangers and isn’t too overprotective over you; but, in crowded areas, he will be placing a hand on you while following closely - he would act protective, if he senses something is wrong

Appearance: Has very distinct ears due to being a lynx, it completely contrasts his black hair with the gray color; the black tips on his ears are thin and are always pointed up. His tail is short, but can be seen wagging/swaying with a black tip - he is considered ‘rare’ or ‘unique’

First Impression: Ten was cautious and tread carefully in the new home, but he seemed more intrigued than anxious; he is closely observing the details of his new home and he is definitely smiling at a few baby photos of you, thinking you were cute. He is not afraid to converse with you and carry the conversation, as he likes to know more about you

Within a few days, Ten is definitely more comfortable and he successfully melted the ice between the two of you; he can be seen teasing you or throwing playful comments around in hopes to make you smile or make you flustered

Love Language: Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation; he loves being physical with you, whether it be hugs/cuddles or hand-holding. Appearance: He has a very cute appearance, as he has large round gray ears at the top of his head contrasting his brown hair. His only koala attribute is his ears and they are quite expressive whenever Sicheng is feeling a certain emotion

First Impression: Sicheng has a quiet and reserved nature and this seems to always draw people in, and maybe that is another reason why you may have adopted him and adored him from the start! He doesn’t exactly get out of his comfort zone quickly, and he definitely stayed in his room rather than trying to interact with you at first

Within a few days of giving him space, Sicheng begins to accompany you in the same room in comfortable silence or sometimes starting conversations to know one another more; usually, the talks lead to your/his interests and he seems way more comfortable in carrying the conversation

Love Language: Quality Time and Physical Touch; He loves hanging out in the same room as you! At times, he would be entering the same room after you to accompany you. He doesn’t mind going out with you either, if you ask him. Physically he enjoys having a sense of security in your presence, oftentimes in public, he will be holding your hand or interlocking his pinkie with your own to avoid separation

As a koala hybrid, Sicheng has a habit of hugging things; whether it be a stuffed animal, pillow or you. He is also a great climber, but his fear of heights had prevented him from showing off his natural abilities. Due to his koala aspects, he can be a picky eater and usually greens is a way to snack to keep him satisfied!

Whenever he gets tired, he gets more touchy and grow attached to you like a koala to a tree; he loves holding onto your arm or your body in general, and rest his head against yours/shoulder when he is out in public

He is more introverted and reserved in public outings and he is the type to be jealous (with other hybrids), but never show it; you may need to be keen when he does get a bit grumpy (his ears would twitch followed by a scoff), as he isn’t the type to voice out his complaints. Even if you encourage him to say something, Sicheng never want to ruin your fun

Yes!: Staying up to watch movies/shows with you, hugging your arm or holding your hand, laying down/sleeping, stroking his ears (especially when he’s upset)

No!: Getting little sleep or having a difficult time falling asleep, his stamina (he apologizes a lot for not being too active), loud noises (his ears are large and very sensitive)

Bonus: Always leans into your touch whenever you pet him, resting his head on your lap, once climbed a tree to impress you but got stuck there for a few minutes due to his fear, always the big spoon because he loves clinging onto you

!! Lucas - Tiger Hybrid.

Appearance: Yukhei is an exotic hybrid and is was intimidating at first, especially with his towering height and broad build. He has a pair of striped ears contrasting his dark hair and a tail that are incredibly expressive, and he is one of the few hybrids who have claws and sharp canines like an actual tiger; unfortunately, his claws tend to grow back quickly no matter how many times he clips it

First Impression: When first arriving, he is friendly and gives wide smiles to relieve the awkward tension between the two of you. He follows you closely during the house tour and he is very mindful of his actions, as he is afraid to break anything; at times, he would point out a few framed photos to know the story behind it and he listens closely

Honestly, within a few days, the two of you are comfortable and the tameness of Yukhei disappears; it is replaced by him being easily excited and being LOUD. His personality is very bubbly and sometimes clingy or lovey-dovey. He acts more like a big dog that tries to be your lap dog

Love Language: Physical Touch and Receiving/Giving Gifts; He likes to have his hand on you at all costs and it’s possibly from his possessiveness. Yukhei feels more confident in showing that you are his, and he likes to wrap his tail around your leg or arm - at times, he would nuzzle the tip of his nose against yours as affection. Yukhei is expressive when it comes to showing his gratitude and is always thinking of getting stuff that reminds him of you

Believe it or not, this large hybrid loves being the little spoon! He is always crawling into your arms and letting you hold him tight. It gives him a sense of security and he is nuzzling against you - good luck in trying to get him off, as he can sometimes be stubborn

Yukhei is one of the few hybrids with high levels of energy and he may need to relieve his energy through physical activity or sports. Taking him to the gym will help a lot for him, and he likes the idea of you joining him during his workouts; he either becomes your personal trainer or you are his personal cheerleader

Despite his loud and energetic personality, he does have days where he seems more quiet and calm; usually this happens with some days, where he likes to sunbathe and hold you in his arms or he is sleeping for the whole day on your bed

Whenever you are out for too long, Yukhei does get restless and he is always greeting you with hugs/nuzzles whenever you arrive home; even if he was asleep, he is waking up and approaching you with a sleepy mumble of “Welcome home, I missed you.”

Overall, Yukhei is not exactly high maintenance; if you are able to keep up with his energy and attend his needs, there wouldn’t be much issues. His diet mainly consists of meat, but he can eat veggies/greens by itself without an issue! He does eat large portions and he is definitely eating the leftovers the next day

As a tiger hybrid, Yukhei likes to sleep during the day and can be very active at night; but, if you can fix his schedule, he will most likely fall asleep faster at night. For his claws, he needs to scratch things or file them since he is always afraid of hurting you 

Public outings is no problem for Yukhei! He is a social individual and he easily befriends or gains acquaintances, but he is incredibly loyal to you as he is always returning to you with love in his eyes. He can be quite protective and possessive, as he is always keeping an eye on you whether you are beside him or across the room

Yes!: Petting/Touching his tail and ears, impressing you with his physical abilities, sleeping/napping on your bed (it’s warm and smells like you), anything you cook (he still eats it if it’s not the best)

No!: You feeling down/sad (he gets worried and would try to fix it or cheer you up), long days where you are gone, losing/failing (he is trying to please you but he gets sulky when it doesn’t work)

Chittaphon loves getting creative at Christmas, and one of his favourite things to do will be to organise your Christmas cards, he’ll go above and beyond for each and every one, making them fancy and personalised for all.

The baking at Christmas is most definitely your department between the two of you, although Chittaphon tries to get involved as much as he can, the kitchen isn’t exactly a place that he likes to call his in your home together. Instead, he loves just enjoying the things that you make, much preferring to be the taster rather than the maker of all of the snacks that appear in your home throughout the festive period.

He loves making the most of Christmas Eve and really embracing the moment of being with his family. Quite often, Chittaphon will take a moment to himself to make sure that he absorbs the moment and remembers how happy he is to keep him going for the rest of the year when he heads back to work again.

The two of you were well known to argue when it came to decorating your home for Christmas as you both had very strong ideas. You both were big on design and making sure everything which perfect, which sometimes led to a few creative disagreements between you both. He loved to spoil the kids in your family the most at Christmas, arriving with several different crafts that they could do, teaching them how to make several decorations too. “any luck with your your professor?” ten asks worriedly into the call, there’s shuffling in the background, the sounds of the city, but you find that your boyfriend’s voice is the only thing you can focus on. you shake your head the same time you mutter out a ‘no’. cuddling your books closer to your chest, you keep your head down as you walk out of campus, bag seemingly heavier than when you first came. “well, how ‘bout this?”

your mood’s already up a notch when you see ten a mile away, waving at you excitedly before stretching out his hands. he offers to carry your books, which you oblige one way or the other before linking arms with him. you notice the favourite shirt of yours that he wears out, going over the reasons why you liked it in your head. the colours compliment your skin! plus the patterns are really nice. you should wear it out more often.

“crap.” your eyes never leave ten, only doing so briefly when you come face to face with the place he promised to bring you to earlier. with downcast eyes, you let another sigh go.

“it’s closed?” you pout, tightening your hold on the other. there’s the tug of ten’s hand on you, dragging you away from the entrance with a bribe on his lips.

“ahh~ why don’t we go… to a cafe instead? the one around the corner, maybe then we’ll get some privacy there.“

ten was used to dragging you, out of bed, to the rollercoaster which you were too scared to go on, to try out a new exhilarating hobby. it’s safe to say that you always came out unscathed (ironically the one he’s pulled you out of bed was the one time you fell on your ass), so you let him do it one more time, following his footsteps to round a corner and coming face to face with a quaint little coffeeshop.

your mouth is pulled into an ‘o’, “that’s pretty.”

ten makes a sound of approval, instantly pulling you into the shop to order. listening to the barista’s recommendations, you soon find yourself at the corner of the store, waiting patiently for ten to come with your items. “can you think of any reason why your professor didn’t extend the deadline? i’m sure your reason for it was a valid one.”

for hours on end, you’re ranting to your boyfriend who doesn’t falter one bit, listening intently to your frustrated and almost comical hand movements. it’s like a weight lifted off your chest by the time you’re done, sealing the deal when you look around to make sure no one’s heard you. the cafe still stands empty except for a few customers, but they seem not to care with contrasting music genres blasting in their ear.

“c’mon, up you go. let’s walk around for a little, i think we’re both a bit bloated by how much we drank and ate.” you exchange smiles with him, intertwining your hand with his cold one, condensation dripping from the freezing drink he’s held for the past hours.

A insolência é um traço forte de Kan, sendo o mais novo de quatro filhos, contudo, ela só vem acompanhada de tom ácido quando ele está visivelmente insatisfeito com alguma situação ou ao ver alguém (staff ou CEO, seja quem for) destratando outra pessoa por nenhum motivo aparente. Fora isso, sua insolência para com membros, staffs e amigos é pura brincadeira, mas como tudo na internet pode ser tirado de contexto, uma filmagem sua sendo totalmente insolente com um dos staffs do set de filmagem viralizou de forma negativa e os netizens levantaram teorias de que ele era maldoso com todos os staffs. Mesmo após a empresa divulgar o vídeo na íntegra, mostrando que não passava de uma brincadeira, ainda existem aqueles que acreditam que ele não é nada bonzinho.

Especula-se que, por Kan ser um dos estrangeiros na empresa, ele estivesse envolvido nela, embora não haja nenhuma confirmação sobre.

Em decorrência de sua natureza mais flirty, Kan é constantemente alvo de suspeitas e rumores acerca de sua sexualidade, embora ninguém nunca saiba dizer ao certo.

BACKGROUND/HEADCANONS.

Kan sempre fora do meio artístico. Ao menos, é isso que sua mãe sempre diz quando fala dele para suas amigas e familiares. Desde muito novo desenhar, pintar, cantar e apresentar pequenas peças de teatro que ele e seus irmãos e primos inventavam ali mesmo no chão do quarto eram seus passatempos prediletos. Quando a dança surgiu entre os seus interesses, sua mãe julgou ser passageiro e que ele voltaria aos passatempos usuais, mas quando o som da música abafada no quarto, tampouco o dos pés no chão, tentando a todo custo reproduzir os passos de dança que via na televisão não pararam, ela entendeu, com um sorriso, que aquele era seu filho, nascido para performar, não importando o que fosse. Com o tempo, as perguntas sobre seu futuro começaram a aparecer e, para a surpresa de ninguém, quando criança ele respondia que queria ser pintor. Na adolescência, cantor e mais para frente decidiu que seria ator. “Ou quem sabe tudo isso de uma vez", completou com um dar de ombros despreocupado, característico daqueles que têm uma visão otimista do futuro. Quando chegou a hora de decidir seu futuro, a universidade sempre esteve em sua mente, mas não ali em Bangkok. Durante seus últimos anos no Ensino Médio, Kan tivera contato com o mundo do Kpop e, com isso, seus olhos se encheram com a possibilidade de realizar tudo o que sonhou. Por isso, a alegria que preencheu sua casa quando sua carta de admissão na Seoul University foi geral. Em Seul, já estudando Artes Performáticas, foi durante um dos festivais da Universidade que recebeu a proposta de um dos olheiros da ARR Labels e seu futuro como artista de verdade começou.

Todo o treinamento e estudo da língua foram intensos, especialmente quando intercalados com as aulas da universidade, e só após ter o seu diploma em mãos a empresa começou a entregar papéis a ele. Tudo muito experimental a princípio, um figurante aqui, um outro figurante ali, até que em 2019 ele fez seu debut oficial como ator da Cultural Media no papel de Suriya Saetang (og. Ji Hyun-joong), um funcionário no famoso “Hotel de Luna”. O sucesso do drama, assim como sua capacidade de conquistar os telespectadores através de seu papel, fizeram com que ele conseguisse o papel Sam (og. Choi Youngjae) em “Me Tira Daqui”.

WayV as Water Park Employees

Warnings: none? I can’t believe it

AN: hey....hi....how y’all doin.....I meant to post this so long ago but I kept loosing inspiration for it :(( thank you to everyone for being so patient. I hope you enjoy this fun little headcannon!

Kun is definitely the head lifeguard

though he hasn’t been there as long as Ten, he does make up for it in his dedication to the job

It’s not that he’s uptight, but the other employees are a little too relaxed for his taste, so he’s usually the one in charge (which is fine by Ten who prefers to relax by the lazy river)

His job mainly consists of walking around the park, making sure the rides are working, checking in with employees to make sure they’ve been drinking water and applying sunscreen, and helping guests whenever possible

Since is aura is so adult, he is easily trusted by everyone

This means that if a child is lost, they’ll most likely walk right past the other lifeguards and into Kun’s arms

(Which he’ll never admit out loud but it made him feel very wanted. And the look on Lucas’s face as they walk right past him is always priceless)

Though he does get sad when he hears people remark how mean and no fun he is, he knows that without him the park would be in shambles

The other members of the park thankfully know him well enough that they can tell when he’s feeling a bit down. On those days, the make sure to be good around with him, hype him up, and generally raise his mood

He’s always thankful on those days for his park family (though he could go without Hendery shouting that he has a nice ass over the megaphone), and repays them tenfold by carrying extra supplies with him

(In a fanny pack that YangYang got him as a joke that he didn’t understand and wears unironically everywhere)

This includes sunscreen, lip balm, eye drops, and ear cleanser

He values skin protection, so you’ll rarely see him without his job issued visor (the band basically gets hidden under his floppy hair)

Always wears the assigned uniform of red shorts and a white shirt with the park logo on it, his lanyard with a whistle and his keycard on it (which is hooked on by a safety clip so it’ll never strangle him), and some beat-up flip flops he’s had since forever

Ten works the lazy river

Ten is...well, let’s just say he’s a complicated character

Though Kun doesn’t doubt that Ten has the skill to step up and take charge

Ten just doesn’t have the drive to

He’s worked at the park for longer than anyone, but only because he started so young and just kept coming back after school ended

He started off being the Kun type, who looks so intimidating with his clipboard and yelling at people not to run

But that just got...exhausting

He hated being the bad guy

Kids would cry for being yelled at, parents would be upset at his words no matter what he said (company policy or his own), or older people would demand he brings them all types of crazy items (from sunscreen to a new section of the park)

He was just so...tired

What was the point of working at the Water Park, a place designed to be fun, if he hated every second of it

So, when Kun arrived at his interview in a button-up and a glittering watch, Ten threw his clipboard aside and requested to move to the Lazy River

Best. Choice. Ever

The water is too shallow for anyone to drown and too slow for kids to make a ruckus

Mainly, his job consists of lounging on his lifeguard tower, reading a book and softly playing music from the speaker he snuck up there

Sometimes, if the days are really slow, Ten steals an intertube and floats along the river for hours (until Kun yells at him to return to his position)

He doesn’t like kids so much, so most of his interactions with the guests are when he gets to join this one group of older ladies who frequent the park, linking up tubes so the can all chat and float together

(Ten has the hottest gossip in town)

Though he does like to push policy, he will wear the red shorts of the uniform (he claims they make his butt look good), but his top will rarely be the issued one

Depending on who he sees at the park, Ten could show up in a mismatched T-shirt and flip flop combo, or a nice swim shirt that defines his chest

(Lucas is always amazed that Ten always knows what days to look good because cute guests, and no one has the heart to tell him Ten packs both options in his bag)

Sicheng works the wave pool

Though newer to the team, Sicheng has almost more experience that Ten because he used to work at a different Water Park

When he moved, he figured he already had the experience, so why not go for the same job

At first, Sicheng was intimidating

He rarely talked to anyone besides Kun, and even then it was all professional

He almost looked scary sitting on the lifeguard tower, sweeping his eyes over the people below him

The first ice breaker was when he rescued a drowning woman, pulling her to safety and giving her CPR

Though the team was intimidated by him, the did admit that looked cool as heck

So, slowly, they started to talk to him more

And more

And more until finally, Sicheng was the one to start conversations and openly laugh at jokes

Turns out, he just likes to be razor focused when working so that he can ensure no one gets hurt

(After all, the Wave Pool is the chaos zone)

And it only made the team admire him more

He doesn’t like to wear hats because they always get lost when he has to dive in, so Kun installed an umbrella for his chair

(that act of kindness brought a blush to his cheeks, and he was teased for it the rest of the day)

He’s the type to wear sunscreen in an almost comical fashion - two thick lines under his eyes are always heavy with it

Even though he looks like an idiot, it’s endearing and makes his already large group of admirers like him even more

While he does wear the uniform, he prefers the wet shoe to sandal, and always takes off his lanyard when he’s on duty (which means he always has to make trips back to his chair to retrieve it later)

Xiaojun works at the concession stand

Don’t get him wrong, Xiaojun absolutely loves water

The only thing is...he’s not a super huge fan of chlorinated water

He could spend hours upon hours at the beach just surfing up some waves and relaxing in the beach

Unfortunately, the nearest beach is over an hour away and he can’t justify going back and forth each day to work

(trust me, he tried. He loved working at the boardwalk but his old hand-me-down car just gave up on him and the bus doesn’t come frequently enough to take him down there)

So, he takes the next best thing

The concession stand is perfectly situated to where he can see everyone enjoying the water without it reflecting blinding sunlight into the booth

The shop is also air conditioned which is perfect for the blazing hot days of summer

His manager is a kid only a few years older than him that should be working in the office but will typically spend all day playing video games

Because of this, Xiaojun can practically get away with anything, including sneaking off during the down hours to hang out with one of his friends or giving them more than their allotted snack coupons can yet

Although he may look a little shy, Xiaojun is VERY good at his job

A customer will walk up only wanting a bottle of water and walk away with four hot dogs, a large soda, and novelty cup from the park

No one really knows how he does it - but YangYang likes to joke that his eyebrows hypnotize the customers into buying anything he says

He doesn’t wear the standard uniform, unfortunately

He can wear pretty much anything he wants, but he has to wear a bright blue apron with the park logo and slogan on it and the matching hat

(you bet your ass he’s wearing some cargo shorts)

Hendery alternates between the two-seater and single rider slides

The best part of Water Parks have always been the rides that whip you so hard and fast that by the time you reach the bottom the tube has come out from under you and your bathing suit has given you the tightest wedgie of your life

At least, that’s what Hendery thinks

So it was absolutely no surprise that when he was asked where he wanted to work at the park, he said the inner tube rides

Whether pushing people in or helping them out, he absolutely loves the job

At first, he was a little jealous

A “I wish I could be going on the rides” type of harmless jealousy

But it was only as the weeks went on that he realized that just seeing and interacting with the different types of riders made it so much fun!

Talking to the scaredy cats to help them calm down, assuring parents that the rides are safe, couples telling him about their date night, high fiving the kids who just keep coming back for more

It’s so unlike any job he’s ever worked before

Although he might not get to hang out with his friends and goof off as much as he likes, there’s a certain proud feeling of responsibility that makes those not so great moments better

He’s also the type of person who finds joy in the little things so even though his personality is more on the shy side with new people, he has that type of aura that somehow convinces other people to do all the talking and they leave new friends

Unfortunately…he’s also the forgetful type

Always forgets to bring his uniform shirt to work or gets it mixed up with one of his hundred other white shirt

Kun used to make his wear the rashguard of shame (the only item left from the old branding) but now he just makes sure to keep a pile of spares on hand

He’s also the most likely to have a sunburn by the end of the day if the older boys don’t keep an eye out for him

YangYang alternates between the group rides, and the kiddie slides

YangYang is many things, but the word most people like to use is versatile

He picks up new things very quickly and adapts to new situations with the ease of a veteran

Although he’s the youngest, the people around him put a lot of trust in him and his abilities 

(which sometimes stresses him out to the point that he bottles up his emotions until he ends up crying in the locker room during his breaks. His friends have gotten really good at noticing when he’s at his breaking point and will quickly get him away from the situation. It’s really the only moment of vulnerability they see from the usually happy-go-lucky boy)

This trust somehow got him working various stations across the park, and he’ll move pretty much wherever people need him

He’s currently working the group rides and kiddie slides, which is the craziest juxtaposition

His mornings involve splashing around near Lucas in the Kids Zone, helping kids through the various short slides for them to play with

After his lunch break, usually involved with hanging around with Xiaojun and his other friend who shares the same lunch break that day (M = Kun, Tu = Ten, W = Hendery + Sicheng, Th = Ten + Lucas, F = Lucas, Sat = Hendery + Lucas + Kun, Sun = Ten + Hendery), he’ll head over to the group ride, usually filing drunk adults into rafts and gently declining their offers of drinks

He loves the weird combinations of his day, and the new adventure that come when Kun calls him to the office to give him his new responsibilities

He likes to play the younger brother character that his friends have given him because it allows him to pull mischievous pranks with little to no repercussions

It’s not unusual for people to see him being chased around the park by his friends, big smiles across his face as he laughs with the biggest smile

It does sometimes give guests whiplash when they watch him shoot a fellow lifeguard with a water gun then five minutes later watch him give safety instructions with a serious expression

Unlike his playful personality may suggest, he takes his job really serious - especially because people’s lives are on the line

He always wear a clean uniform, including his lanyard with an embarrassing picture of his ID swinging from his neck

And only grimaces a little when Kun grabs his face to slather it in sunscreen
