I’m not sure which of these is the longest: Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, Miguel de Cervantes’ Don Quixote, or Les Miserables. At any rate, I’ve read all three.

I don’t know about the direction I’m supposed to count?

If it’s going horizontally, going across the bookcase partitions, it would be Michael Benton’s When Life Nearly Died: The Greatest Extinction of All Time. If it’s going horizontally, then vertically to the partition below, it’s Mario Livio’s The Equation That Couldn’t Be Solved: How Mathematical Genius Discovered the Language of Symmetry. If you’re wondering, my 1st and 2nd vertical partitions are dedicated to physics and math, but the 2nd partition horizontally is for palaeontology and the start of my medical-related books collection.

TBH I am not sure if the show knows what it means by 'Hessian.' They kind of took the AP US History definition of 'elite German soldier hired by the British crown' but then had... contemporary "Hessians"... trying to summon Moloch. Via King Solomon's magic spellbook. So like... I guess what I'm saying is assume that the Nicolas Cage 'National Treasure' films are a legit primary source as you watch this and accept that Hessian troops are I guess in the pay of Moloch instead of George III. This show is so committed to its message of 'GEORGE WASHINGTON STAVED OFF THE APOCALYPSE' that my reaction is sort of a hearty chortle and, "Aw, bless!" instead of, "WTF."

She’s a fabulous bird, and she knows it. I haven’t often based characters on specific species like this. I think it worked.
