Every day, on my way to the gym or grocery store, I walk past this charming cottage with a thatched roof. It looks completely different from the surrounding buildings, which consist of two big malls and an ugly, multilevel parking lot. It's not hard to imagine a time when this cottage was situated in a more rural and sparsely populated area.
