"Peak shounen" this, "epic battles/romance" that, I cant look for recs like this anymore. My brain and its wants are so specific. It wants things to get OBSESSED with. I dont care if the show is great or if it's barely even that good. If there's something in there that has gotten people obsessed with it, be it the world or the characters (but being attached to the characters is a must for me) I want it. I want it now. My brain won't watch things that are just "really good" rn I need something lovably stupid to happen in the series that makes me laugh and turns my brain into a frothing BLENDER

in truth tempest can never be tamed

a mostly canon compliant raphtav fic, in which raphael is obsessed and tav is a mystery he can't quite figure out. it doesn't end well for him. INCREDIBLY self-indulgent content of my oc. warning for (canon compliant) major character death and graphic depictions of violence.

technically the first raphtav AND the first bg3 fic i ever started writing, back in october before i'd even finished the game! i hadn't even admitted to liking raphael yet <3 "just an interesting perspective for my oc" okay past sarah, whatever you say

Raphael's lying when he tells them he's surprised they’ve made it as far as they have, though he's honest about being impressed. The merry band of adventurers were always going to reach Baldur’s Gate with Tav at the lead, so singularly focused. It’s not some blind faith (as if a devil is capable of such a thing). But even Korrilla’s first notes had given him…conviction, in her abilities. Clear leader of the group. Skilled liar. More interested in the accolades of heroism than the good deeds itself. Hey simmers! I'm reaching out to the talented creators in the community. I'm looking to commission a few custom outfit sets or accessory mesh creations for The Sims 4. Specifically, I'm interested in the Titans based on their looks in Tom Taylor’s run.

I’ve seen some meshes close to what I’m looking for, but I’m unfortunately not very talented on mesh edits.

Happy whenever this finds you. For me, it is December 31st, 2024. The last day of a difficult year for me. A year of loss, illness, setbacks and very little joy. Which makes it sound as though I am dwelling in the sadder things in life. I am not. I look for joy and light every day. But it is pure foolishness to erase the bad things that happen to us. If I pretend that this year didn't suck, I can't heal from the losses, I can't focus on what I want to improve and I can't move forward in a way that makes changes. Today two cards were pulled. Not on purpose. The Salamander was stuck to Ash. I enjoy the metaphor. A Salamander in ash, me in ashes.. Ash trees always remind me of my grandmother on my moms side. She taught me parts of my path in very subtle ways. In Norse myth the world tree is an Ash. It's roots go deep and connect many things and spaces. This is a card of making sure we don't get lost in the details. Especially today. When we reflect on the last year it isn't the time to focus on small things. Rather, what are the big themes. What is the bigger picture. Can you look from the top down? Or from the roots up? See the forest in this case, not the trees. The Salamander, our little tag along is such a delightful pairing here. Salamander asks us to remember be brave in this coming time. Summon our deepest courage because we will be asked to. I find both cards together to play very well into the work I am doing. The Salamander is also about the fire of our personal passions. For me, I haven't had a passion for anything for a while. (And I want to be clear this doesn't need to be a passion for a person. It can be about a craft or job or project). Years ago I had a dream stolen from me in the most passive aggressive way and since that time I have struggled to give a shit about anything. I am going to find that passion. The passion dreams bring us. If you would like a reading like this, please DM for scheduling. My books are open.
